I don't usually stack off with JJ pre but he played it stupid, I'll post below
1. That's not stupid dude, that's a back raise (or New York back raise). Depends on the reads he has on you and utg as to have much it is fps, but anyway it's a face up monster so your JJ is crushed.

2. Bet flop, take it from there...I stack off here nearly always (if you are stacking off, I don't see the logic in not value betting the flop?)

3. Fine.

4. Good (probably better than I bet it)

5. Fold Flop
Spoiler:
BBV -----> that way

1. I guess it's not "stupid" as he did own me. I guess we call pre, xc flop and xf turn on that runout?
2. I am prepared to stack off, I was hoping to XR flop.
5. lol

Hey guys,

Not a huge amount played today, however I may endeavour into a late night session.

Felt great while playing today and definitely my A++ game with only two real mistakes (posted below). Definitely not running too well, but that'll all even out eventually

1. Hmm. I now count this as a mistake as V was 12/6/0 over 80 hands. Should I just be flatting instead of 4b-gii? And do you think it is a mistake to gii here?

Villains range is AA/KK, so I snap fold pre. That sort of post can attract a lot of heat on 2+2, so I'll amplify it for you. That way, even if you completely disagree you'll know where the thinking originates from.

Meta-wise, in win mode Zoom for me is all about choosing optimal spots and junking everything else ( Note: in training mode you might chose difficult spots on purpose, but that's another story and not everybody has a dedicated training mode).

There are many preflop spots you would never fold in reg spd (and definitely not in live) that you can simply junk in Zoom because hey the next hand is a btn click away. This is especially relevant because in Zoom as often of not you a playing villains in the dark (ie without meaningful data). So you have to make population assumptions.

My population assumption of villain in the JJ hand goes like this....

laggy reg (you have hands and notes) ----> Back raise (which you should know and recognise instantly) ------> monster (not AK) AA/KK ------> I'm crushed and cannot set mine, fold.

Smile at dodging the bullet, sit out while you make note on villain "played back raise pre".

                    Next hand ezy game.

ofc sometimes in ain't what it seems, but that's not how we play poker, and esp not how we play fast spd poker.

Other's will disagree - probably aggressively.

The guy with 89 played it fine imo, pre but loose maybe. Flop is an ok float, overbet nuts Otr. You should prob bet turn or fold river or something.

Yeah def bet turn with KQ the fact he's a one tabling fish makes that even more of a bet

If he had 89s I'd have no quarrels, but 89o makes it horrendous. There's no way that is "fine"

                    Hey guys,

Today was pretty horrid haha. So many reverse setups for me lately, ran into AA pre 6 or 7 times in the last 5k hands or so . On a more positive note; I have played my A+ game over the last couple of days and made far less mistakes than usual. So at least something is going right

                    1. This was sick lol. Sometimes when I gii I cannot see V's cards until showdown, and this was one of those times haha - when the Q hit OTT I was 99% sure I was good. NOPE!

I think the kj hand is overplayed on the river IMO

When the q hits the turn it's a very bad card obv and you are also nearly 150bb deep. Flush river I would either check and assess. I would prob just bet bet bet fold to jam.

Aj hand I'm finding after playing like 150k hands at 25z population is never bluffing when they over bet. For example today I played a hand, mp opens 3x I call in co w KQo, sb and bb call. Flop is qq3 r, mp bets 3/4 pot I call and sb with reg stats just jams like 5x pot.....I call he tables 33. It's so ridiculous how **** these regs are and so face up their plays are.

I'm now realising they play everything face up. Massive sizing tells on each street etc.

I saw u at the tables today mate glgl

KJ - river is super close, I feel we are missing value from AK AA when we check. I'll do the Math later
AJ - yeah honestly I just don't understand his overbet, I have not even shown aggression.....

1st hand is a good disciplined fold imo if BTN has a flush draw I think V calls with position and pot controls seeing how its multiway. the only criticism about the hand would be calling the flop raise to fold on a brick turn Kh doesn't improve BTN flop raise
but I do believe BTNs raising ranges consists of sets, 78 and very little f/ds + a few 2pairs that we beat unless its some fish
saying that I I'm not sure I'm good enough to fold a set in game so WP sir

this range is been more then generous by adding in so many f/ds which I think V doesn't raise on the flop and we are still behind in equity
do people agree with my thought process ?

but I do believe BTNs raising ranges consists of sets, 78 and very little f/ds + a few 2pairs that we beat unless its some fish
saying that I I'm not sure I'm good enough to fold a set in game so WP sir

this range is been more then generous by adding in so many f/ds which I think V doesn't raise on the flop and we are still behind in equity

If V has that many FD's in his range then we should be calling not folding! IMO he doesn't have anywhere near that amount of FD's though

Fold is quite bad. We're like 27% vs a value range of 55-66,54s-87s and we need <33% to call.

It's less than a pot size bet so we need <33%, we need like 32% or something, if he has like 1 combo of a fd or 77 or something it's a call

I didn't think we had 27% vs the range tbh. If I knew this then I would have called. Either way it's very very borderline at best, especially after rake.

                                          Hey guys,

Haven't been running too great since the last update, nothing seems to be going my way even though I am playing my A++ game.

Usually I get pretty annoyed when I string a few losing sessions together, but at the moment I feel fine about the results as I know that I am playing well, just running pretty bad.

                                          1. Hated myself for not raising flop after this happened, but that's just me being results orientated. Vs 23/18/7 over 330 hands.
