A3ss is a super in depth theory orientated play...

Spoiler:
Villain was 100% vpip over 26 hands and was RFI'ing stupid amounts like 17bb's. More than likely drunk.

Hey,

So the month is almost over and I've made a whopping $77+$164 RB this month . It's not what I was hoping for, but there are going to be months where I am losing, so I should be grateful that this isn't one of them and focus on learning from my mistakes.

Right now I have 131 tagged hands to review for Monday. I am sticking with my schedule of playing Tuesday through to Sunday and taking Monday off to review the week's hands. I know of at least 3 stacks that have gone "missing" (aka spewwed ) this week, so I am really looking forward to getting my hands stuck into the reviews and learning as much as I can.

It may sound super simple or cliche, but I think that learning from our past mistakes is one of the most important tools we have in life. It's completely free and is one of the most potent ways there is to best improve your current profile. And shouldn't we all have the goal to be the best person we can be?

Tangents aside, I'll get back to the Poker with some hands below... feedback appreciated

1. Vs fish. Maybe I should OB turn a bit bigger to leave me with a PSB otr? AP I guess I should be folding to his jam? I wasn't good enough tho

Hi, what was your volume over last month?

          1) I prefer check raise turn, when fish calls an overbet it is pretty likely he bets his hand himself on turn (unless you think he is very passive). Against a big fish maybe even check/shove, otherwise set the stacks up to comfortably shove river. As played sigh calling river hoping that fish overvalues trips not too sure about that tho, its definitely very read dependent.

          2) I tend to just call the river here, but raise is reasonable vs fish to get max value of Qx. These kind of hands tilt me the most, sick flop raise into runner runner.

          3) River is "easy" fold, on turn it is probably better to fold, hard to do it for the price.

          4) Seems we have to call down as played. he might occasionally have worse for value like KQ or QT. And hopefully some bluffs(probably with Ten) and some chops.

1 - I don't see what trips villain has when he calls OB ott

2 - yeh. In don't mind the raise we he isn't good enough to fold worse trips but the runner runner is just brutal lol

          3 - agreed

          4 - yep

Simple game plan for this, bestie: look at how Meale acts and do the exact opposite.

          ---

So I did my reviews today and am pretty pleased with my play in general. I made a lot of mistakes throughout the week but definitely think that the play was solid enough to crush 25z. There was a fair amount of bad play in there, but I've written down a ton of notes on where I think I am making the most errors, so hopefully that can make an impact going forward and stop it from happening.

My BR is just shy of 1k, so the plan for December is to get that above $1500 so I can head back into the 50z streets for 2017 . Really looking forward to it, not sure why, maybe it is the black chip(s) you are rewarded with when you stack someone

I was speaking with a mate about December goals and he mentioned that goals are for people that under achieve. I disagree and think that goals are good motivators to inspire success. So with that in mind, what are you guys December goals/2017 goals?

          December goals

          1. 50k hands
          2. $1500+ BR
          3. Less time wasting by getting back to the tables/doing something productive when I catch myself doing nothing

          2017 Goals

          1. Make the most of it by being able to look back and say I used my time well (- I cannot say the same for 2016)
          2. Jog 3 miles without collapsing and being rushed to hospital

          End of month results:

After RB my BR is $1026, I would like to be around $1750 for 2017 so I can move back up to 50z, but anything above $1500 will leave me happy.

Going to do some IRL stuff and chill out tomorrow so I am fresh to crush in December

          GL in December everyone!

          Hey,

It's been a while since I updated this thread.

In short, I have just been losing lots of BI's on PS . Lots of run bad and a good amount of bad play mixed in there, too. In light of this and a fantastic opportunity from another Poker site, I have decided to quit playing on PS and move over.

In case anyone was wondering on the opportunity I was offered - I can only disclose part of it, but feel free to PM me if you're interested and I can fwd you onto them. This should give you a brief idea of it:
          Spoiler:

I don't really use 2p2 much anymore, so this thread will probably fall into the abyss.

Thx for reading (and for following) and GL for December/2017!!!!
