No Christmas gifts so far
Played a couple of hands so far in December, but I'm getting assraped pretty hard. No clue what's happening, but 1. I don't hit **** and 2. I keep running into top of ranges and 3. I leak money because I **** my pants on every runout. Probably 3 good arguments to stop playing
There's not much else to say to be honest, so I will keep it short again:
But thankfully there is so much else, like raving last week with Dominik Eulberg. Damn, he pulled of a really nice job with his set. My favorite tracks kept coming, like Sleepless, Radiance and he finished his set with Opus. And he dropped it big time lol
Next Friday we can go see Kolsch again with a two hour performance of him, next to some other great names. Really looking forward to it and it ends at 8.00 in the morning. Only in raveland..
And we've got them new shoes
But, back to normal. Oh wait, Strava is running weird either, so it's impossible to keep track of running now.. I completed a 4m run tonight, so that's one thing
WOAW
Holy ****! Last Friday was so fckn amazing!
It's not that it was the best party I've been too regarding to the music or dj's, but that atmosphere! And the fact that it lasted until 8.00 in the morning instead of 5,6 or even 7. Much better, was pretty exhausted when the last track was played. I was home a little before 10, slept until 7 in the evening and went to bed again at 12. Woke up at 10 this morning.
Before the party we met for dinner and a few beers before we got to go. We arrived at the party around 11.30, so we had a few hours to go lol. Headline of the night was obviously Kölsch and he did it again. Performed a nice gig and at the moment he started to play the whole room was going hard at it. Really nice to had him for more than two hours. Unfortunately for Gui Boratto he had to perfom after him and I can't even remember this, because it didn't came any close to Kölsch
So, for today it's pretty much relaxing and play a couple of hands probably. Good thing that I caught up last Friday with a few buy ins to get back on track for December. Fun stuff.
The end is near
2015 is coming to an end, so it's time for me to do one of my last updates this year probably. I think I might keep this going and just ask for a title change, because not that much will change for me on poker.
Not a big update, just one to tell you that we're still hanging on. I am happy to see we are back in the green for another month. Hopefully I can continue this way during the next couple of days and enjoy the days.
I feel like there are a lot of recreationals joining the zoom pool which is pretty nice. And fun. And frustrating sometimes
But for now just two fun hands
Not too sure what he accomplishes with his riverlead but oh well
River:(70.52 BB, 2 players) 5 MP checks, Hero bets 65.44 BB and is all-in, MP calls 65.44 BB and is all-in
Hero shows 2 2 (Three of a Kind, Twos)
MP shows K J (One Pair, Kings)
Hero wins 193.4 BB
Bankroll: $ 1.140
Running: m 302 (or something)
Oh, we've managed to fix tickets for the a festival coming in March, with a massive, massive, abolutely massive line-up including Adriatique, Maceo Plex and finally got to see Recondite (live)
Once in a while..
Last night I decided to wtf and just jump in the 50z pool right away. However I am not really rolled I felt like I could just take another small shot and go back to 25z whenever it didn't work out. I still have about $ 300 in stellar/VPP bonusses, can always decide adding this to my roll (instead of cashing them out).
Anyways, felt good and ran pretty decent. Played my A-game almost all the time and when I felt I leaked a few BB's I decided to stop. Feels good to have a winning session @ 50z for instance and it makes it easier to jump again sometime. We have a couple of days off of work, so maybe in the evenings I will try again.
Graph of last night (yeah, finally I won some so a little proud of myself lol)
Closing 2015 – on to the next year
This will be my last update in this thread, because 2016 is not gonna be just about zooming. I’m gonna focus on some other stuff as well, so I’ve figured I can start a new PG&C thread for 2016 as well: This is why I crush life in 2016
Overview 2015
I want to wrap up the pokeryear with some mixed feelings. I earned a nice amount of pocket change for someone with a perfectly healthy job income. I have no reasons to complain: I was able to increase my bankroll and I banked almost $ 2.000 through the year (incl. rb). Most of the greens I spent on parties and festivals. Seen a lot of my favorite DJ’s once or twice, outside or indoor, day or night: Yeah, money well spent.
25z
I have played mainly 25z in 2015 and to be honest I feel like I beat this game. I have a decent sample with an ok winrate on this stake and actually I want to leave this behind.
Graph 25z
50z
I took a few shots at 50z this year, but unfortunately none of these were very successful. I got crushed pretty hard as you can see in the graph below. Yet I want to concentrate on 50z next year.
Graph 50z
Poker in 2016
I took a couple of shots at 50z this year, but none of these were very successful. I got crushed pretty hard as you can see in my graph. Yet I am going to aim for 50z next year. It’s not so much harder, but during most sessions I played recently I felt some kind of nerves which made me doubt the most standard spots. Not much else to do about that except jumping in the pool over and over again. And cutting down tables in the beginning. Two tabling gives me just some more time to think and will prevent auto piloting. That way I can cut down leaking a few bb’s during my sessions.
Running
Next to poker I accomplished my running goal of 226 miles in 2015. In kilometers this meant 365 km, so ‘one km a day keeps the doctor away’, lol. I eventually managed to run a total of 320 miles this year and I’m pretty happy about it, because I still play football as well.
I will continue running and obviously set a new target for 2016: I aim for 365 miles for the next year, so we can call it ‘one mile a day keeps the doctor away’. Let’s go!
2016: what else?
1. Win at 50z
2. Run 365 miles
3. Finish my degree as an Online Marketeer
4. Move up the career ladder
5. Move to our new house
6. Bank $ 2.000 to pay for the festivals and events: this means $ 167 each month.
