I started a thread a few months back about getting into poker again following the birth of my daughter. I didn't really get to play much poker following it. I have a new laptop and new database and I plan to start from $50NL. Maybe this is stupid but I don't care.

My poker bankroll is £1000 + $332.17 in stars.

I will mostly be playing $50NLZ on pokerstars to start with. I will maybe get to play some home games / casino games too. I will take a 10 buy in shot if necessary. If I have to move down after that, so be it.

I will use this thread to track my progress and analyse some of my hands.

Well. In the last month I'm up to $1933.16 mostly in $50NL and some $15 SnG 6max and HU. Not using £1000 to supplement my bankroll anymore.

I plan to play:

10,000 hands of $100NL Zoom (5 buy in shot)
40 x $15 6 max SnG
40 x $15 HU

Right need to get on the straight and narrow. Was a bit hungover yesterday and lost 10 buy ins at 100NL Zoom and some more at $50NL Zoom and played some high buy in tourneys. Deleted my entire database in a huff. Basically been a bit of an idiot.

I know I will never be a good player if I don't master the mental side of my game. That begins NOW.

I really want to become a profitable player and I believe/know I can be if I don't do ridiculous things.

First 1500 hands in my new database as below. Will review some hands tomorrow.

Current Balance : $950

I am going to purely play $25NL Zoom for the next couple of weeks. If I lose 5 buy ins I will drop to $10NL Zoom. I will evaluate each days play and put up some hands.

I will do a full database check on Monday 15th April. I plan to play the Sunday Million anniversary but that will depend on

A. Having enough money in my account
B. Being awake enough to play as I'll hopefully need to do an all nighter before work hahaha

I realise all my posts so far in this thread indicate I shouldnt play poker but this is my final chance. 100%. I will show an amazing turnaround in this thread.
