Today I tilted off about 2BI. It happened in the period of 10 mins,but I managed to stop and go for a quick walk and come back to a good although losing session. Had quite a bit of time today,so clocked in about 3K hands which is a lot for me,as I usually play around 1K a day.

I began calling way to much in some spots which I need to cut down as I am turning into a station. I also need to figure out my 4bet strat as now I do it very randomly and def not enough as a bluff. I guess Axs are good hands for 4bets,what else?

Continue working on defending BB vs SB by flatting more,rather than 3beting. Become more aggresive in spots where it goes xx,do delayed cbets etc. Oh and run good

Overall I like my game,I am able to spot tilt and quit playing really fast usually within 1-2 tilted decisions,so this limits spew. I also have tightened up considerably both pre and with bluffing freq. One problem still remaining is that I don't have concrete ranges for lets say 3brl,c/r or bluffing in certain spots,simply because I haven't preped enough. This is def my priority know - use flopzilla. First to check out board textures for cbeting vs x back,second figuring out good spots to bluffraise cbets.

Spew hand. In game and hours after,this seemed to me like a close spot. I played with ranges and basicly we def get the odds to call if villain shows up with AJ and some draws. However just recently saw a very similar hand from ss and it looked like a very easy b/f. This hand is no different.

I hit my 40K volume already,have a bit more time nowadays,which is good. I 4 table usually,but today I started 2 tabling with full concentration and it was very cool to be able to think through each spot. I think I am going to stick to it till the rest of the month,just focusing on improving as opposed to getting the volume. Being on a heater helps too ;p

I have started reading couple of pokah books and I think I slowly start to understand the polarisation and medium value hands ranges for example in flop raising spots. I am still torn on how/whether to call 3B OOP and whether to x back flop with SD value,obv it doesn't reaally matter at 5NL,but still is an issue for the future.

I am also confused with 3b/Flatting ranges,I noticed I auto 3B OOP where flatting is probably best.

My main aim now is to start flatting the btn more with Axs and SC and play aggresively postflop. I also want to start c/r OOP as I rarely do so.

This one I made a pretty bad mistake,I assumed that noone can c/c c/mr bluff here,so I shoved for value. There is little point in doing that though,I doubt he ever does this with a draw,so I don't need to protect. If he has set/2pairz I doubt there is a river that he doesn't GII.





Dunno. I don't think I can b/shove here vs relatively unknown reg and I will be c/f a ton here. Ofc if we c/r and he shove we ****ed up our equity,so I guess it is better to do with a diff hand like Ad9d? Once he calls he can never have sets so it is easy game.






I think turn bet is very thin here vs 2 guys,but not sure tbh. If we are called we just c/f all the time I suppose.

So this hand just happened and I butchered it pretty bad.
Unknown 3Bets me and I think this is a clear 4B spot.
Our hand most likely does not dominate his range,KQs is a def flat in this spot,KJs being kind of borderline. + we know nothing about villain.
If we 4bet we have a chance to win a pot straight away. If he 5b I think we can safely fold. If he has a medium hand or even AK he is not going to be super happy. Being deep ofc he will call often,but we have position,initiative and can easily either pot control or bluff villain.

Same logic applies on the flop although 100BBs deep I think this is a flop float more often than not,200BBs I think it is a raise. We are gonna get immediate folds from most of his air,we can def fold out better hands and even hands like TT,JJ are in pretty **** spot. J is not out clean out so I don't mind r/f here.

Back to 4 tabling since shooting nl10,which is going pretty well,i am on a sick heater which is both good and bad as I fear a nosedive hiding around the corner. Zoom eats hands,even when I request HH through email i don't get all the hands,so I need to write down my balance before sessions to keep track. Is this ipoker or smth? ffs,new designs are not worth this

Anyways. I think I spotted one of the leaks that gives me a lot of trouble,that is making a marginal preflop decision,which escalates to me eihter 3brl bluffing or calling down with a crappy hand. Although I think of it is just x to call or opening is fine once in a while,in long term is pretty bad,so I should stop doing that.

I also call in spots where I am certain I am beat,yes sets are nice and coolers happen,but you def can fold when u are beat. Another problem is when the pot is small and fish bets,I bluffcatch way to lose/often. And as these pots are small you don't notice the huge leakage. Need to maintain focus and concentration for every single decision.

I am going to post some hands later on today.

Clearly posting here after the session doesn't work,so from today onwards before playing I must look through the hands of the previous day and post some here with my thoughts,analyse 1 spot in Flopzilla,then watch 1 vod. This should probably take about 1.5-2 h and serve as a good warm up and ofc study time.



I knew I had really good equity in game,post I think I have about 50% equity vs a reasonable range. I am risking 10.81 to win a pot of 18.11,10.81/18.11=59%. But ofc with such tremendous equity if he does raise fold once in a while it is super profitable.





This is a fun one. I am not sure that I x back FD on the turn here although perhaps I could vs nits. I could vbet AQ on the turn,but I thought that i am going for 2 streets max and it will be much easier for him to call on the river. **** balance.






I hate 4B pots. I just don't understand them. I guess I should just bet 2 to fold out his AQ or w.e But I just decided to give up as I though 4b pre was +ev and I knew if I start betting I won't be able to stop and just spew it off.

Yesterday was a horrific session. I was playing my D game,spewing chips all around and as a result tilting. I stopped for couple of hours,came back and in first 20 mins lost 3 BI,so decided to call it a day. Reviewed hands from yesterday,played a bit with Flopzilla,now going to watch a vod and then do a quick session,not much free time today. Hopefully am not going to lose all profit for the month ;p

Meh,heater is officially over. Keep bluffing into nuts,value betting into nuts,thin vbetting vs better hands ;p And spew ofcourse. No more grinding in 2014.

3.3/100K hands played. Didn't have much time,so planning to catch up today.

Yesterday session started pretty bad,but then I got back in the zone and caught another run good. Did a quick review of couple of hands with Brokenstars,kudos to him for helping out micro grinders ;p

So the biggest spew was this hand,I knew my equity sucked vs GII range but I just couldn't b/f TPTK. I managed to avoid his outs.

Runnig insanely good - W$SD around 62 ;p I am obv completely realistic about it and know that variance is just around the corner ready to kick in,so I hope it is going to be a BE stretch as opposed to downer.

I def don't feel like I am beating NL10,especially my redline just sloping downwards. I feel a bit more comfortable and I think in 50K hands I should be able to fight for small pots much better. Playing deep in zoom is awsm especially vs capped ranges. However I play "scared" and don't vbet properly,i.e. cheking AA in a 4b pot 200Bbs deep on a Kxx board vs a regfish because reasons. Left about 10$ of value on the table. And the good old spew.

I also started playing much more BVB and although I am still struglling with playing medium hands especially OOP without initiative I am practising and getting better.


I just reviewed a lot of small to medium pots and I click buttons too much. Bluffing repping nothing,where I should just give up with trashy hands. Gotta stay focused and solid!

Had quite a few interesting spots. Watched vods and played with flopzilla a bit so overall I think quite good studying,ofc need to do more.

Should think through each hand carefully and play ranges as opposed to a single hand.


Guy was not folding to 4bets,but still i think flatting is worse than 4betting pre here. Bluffing without blockers and with ******ed sizing is ofc fun.

I think I am finding out a lot of leaks of mine atm with the help of some other people and just thinking. I also know that there are a lot of small spots like playing BVB or blinds vs steal,where you don't remember mistakes or don't even know if you play correctly,so I am thinking on Monday,Tuesday to take a look through the database and analyse various bits and look how other people play in similar situation.

One of the worst hands I played recently.

Sometimes a donk autopilot takes over. It is such and easy flop x,there is clearly 0 value and betting and I just turn my brain off and donate a stack.
