DeSol check out Charlie Carrel on youtube, he has some very good micro zoom stuff. See if you can win 1 tabling over a good sample at a certain stake before adding more. I can 4 table 16 25z etc comfortably when im in good shape but I found it to be probably too many at 50 so it depends on stake and skill level and so on

Good start to month. Reading back hh's my sizings need to a bit bigger in most spots, bit sloppy. Other than that I'm feeling pretty good about my game atm

Curious what people think of the last hand since there's only 1 combo of 99 and TT left, but vs 10/8 nit. It's probably a call in theory. Obvious bluffs KQ with single spade or QJ combos with Qs. Ak Aq with s go to SD. Obv value AA but with 4p/c 3b pre unlikely but makes the most sense given his line

This JTs should be triple range merged. We can fold out better, get called by worse and prevent villain from gaining ev by betting a balanced range

Naa but in all seriousness. Good fold. A reg villain needs to have a good amount of KQo in range, he needs to triple range merge his lower flushes with a T and his AT, not value bet his nutflushes without a T, know that you are folding this type of hand and be capable of adding random AJ+ bluffs into his bluffing range for you to be incentivized to make this call.

Vs someone who will call lower flushes or Ax with a blocker or fold the nutflush infrequently you can triple range merge yourself to prevent from being bluffed and prevent them from explo folding A9 and nutflush

Got a part time job tutoring IT starting the end of this month, it's only 3/4 hrs weekdays and from 1pm onwards I'll be free to grind all day and i'm off weekends. Poker wise I've played a little 50 and 100z and had some good sessions, its worrying my best sessions usually occur after a few beers where I feel relaxed but also fearless in a controlled manner. I need to find a way to play so good and consistant at 50 and higher without any stimulants.

I think that's my biggest problem in general, a lack of confidence and/or fear. PLO over played my roll a bunch given the variance there, luckily didn't do any damage, played bunch of 8 game too. BR sitting on around 6k, too busy getting setup for this job atm for long grinds but once its settled down ill be grinding again. I'll invest in GTO+ because I hear many regs at 50 are using it. Anyway confidence biggest problem for me lately, back of my mind i hear it say just grind 16/25z and play 100k+ hands to grind out 1/2k each month but rest is telling me to move up because ur good enough to consistently beat 50 and shud work towards a goal of 100z but need to work harder with s/w to achieve that, i literally haven't sat down to study in years

Stimulants

Basically any substance that changes mood, be it alcohol, weed, or drinking 10 energy drinks. When your sleep pattern is messed up like mine is and you're not working it's hard not to feel some unmotivated with a level of tiredness/depression. That's why I think getting that part time job will be good for me mentally and get me back into a better life routine.

I must say I think your posts are worthless.

Imo you should move up to 50z if you have the bankroll. No point playing 100k hands on a stake which you are clearly crushing. It also impossible that you crush 16z/25z and not do at least ok on 50z, since the difference is marginal. GTO+ is btw a very good investment. GL to you!

^ Above "worthless" is harsh, post away. That's a good example of how poor my emotional control is . Alc is def not a good choice for anything, was just being honest about my life situation atm.

How does GTO+ compare to PIO? I appreciate they are both solvers but why go for GTO+ in particular?

With regard to the sleep/routine, it's important to develop one. Poker players are effectively self-employed, you have to be disciplined enough to fix a schedule and stick to it.

Have you tried planning your days out in advance so you have specific objectives in mind before you go to bed and when you get up?

I've always struggled with sleep but find that helps, write out tomorrows goals the day before so you can wake up and get at it.
