Just won another $1 in the fun steps: Played all 10 step 1's, made 5 step 2's, 2 step 3's and bricked one (4th) and came 2nd the other. Got to replay it and binked it. Will post results as I grind it up tomorrow.

That sounds like a good plan, I had around 40 bux when chance started this so I am not really doing it lol, but I started at 0 like you guys. My biggest problem is I will play anything, and not care about my bankroll at all, which has led to busto 4x now lol. I think this time I will try to use some, and follow along with you guys!

Also me and tourneys on merge just dont work... I get sucked out on sooo bad... Sitngoes I seem to be better at, so I am sticking to them

After playing a few 11c's and a bit of 2c limit - have doubled the dollar... not done for day must taking a break...

I will join ya have done these before. Back in the day you had to take first in each step to get the buck. Played my 10 step 1's got 9 step 2's will play them after dinner.

I think I might try these too. Is there a best time of day for the FunSteps? Because I don't really consider my Merge funds safe, I've been kind of just donking them. I still actually have a few bucks there but I'll keep separate records (I don't usually play NLHE anyway so that will be easy).

as far as the funsteps - they are on and full of same donks just about anytime i've logged on. just read a few of the notes at the beginning of the thread about how so many of these people play... so easy to beat. almost everyone on 2p2 seem to breeze by step 1 - and usually step 2 also - games get pretty good at step 3.

as far as safe funds - i don't feel safe ANYWHERE online anymore actually. i mean i got my money off of stars where most of it was (thankfully) - had some on ftp (written off) - and now i really don't put a lot of faith in the "wild west" sites that let us play here in usa...

HENCE this challenge! Actually to NOT put any money out there and try to make some! I'm thinking if I ever get close to 4 figures i'll pull it off (or try too at least)! but in the mean time - this gives us here in usa an online poker fix (albeit super micro stakes) - and a chance to play and not worry about the funds!

Anyway - welcome to the challenge - hope you turn NOTHING into a LOT!!

Yes, I agree totally with money not being safe on any site for USA players. If I can grind mine up to $120, I'll withdraw $100 (minus the $15 fee or whatever). But I won't hold my breath.

I just did 10 step-ones. Only got 4 step two tickets. There was one person sitting out at many of my tables. Since it doesn't tell you they're sitting out, some people don't realize it. Always good to be sitting to their direct right. :-)

Btw, the strategy I lost with was the patience strategy. The 4 tickets I won were all from getting it all in good early and having it hold, then nitting up until it was over.

So, Day 1 for me: 40% ITM at FunStep1. :-) I'll take it.

LOL BR swongs. These 11c are brutal. From $1 to $2, down to 36c, now at 70c. So many 60<40's.

try the .06 rebuy later.. its fairly large so will take some time... and those super turbos are nasty... check out the thread by Jdawg, he is straight up crushing them and his ROI is only like 5%
