Hello,

As you can see from my previous thread, I'm playing poker for a few years now, but unfortunately I have never been able to "make it" in poker as I've not been consistent enough either with my grind or my study volume mainlly due to mental weakness.
I've been in a poker study group with "Shipnickle" and "wegg" which are for me the best poker friends I've encountered to be a better poker player. They are now retired from the game but this is good to remember I'm still here because they have inspired me a lot back in the days (can check their blogs on 2+2 if you want).

The "problem" is that it's really difficult for me to conciliate poker with real life stuff (wife, kids, 40h/week work), so yeah, pretty sad that I have to build up again a bankroll but this thread will help me to keep motivated and to share with you guys my journey through microstakes.

For now I'll start by playing NL5 rush&cash in GGPoker.

I've got approximately 250$ due to a very good first day yesterday at the tables.

I've been playing for 3 hours straight 4 tables and here are the results for the first day:

Day 1
Hands: 2,757
Results: +16.5 Buy'ins

I'll move up when I hit 50 buy'ins of next level and I'll go down when I hit 50 buy'ins of previous level.

NL10 --> 500$ (go down to NL5 at 250$)
NL25 --> 1,250$ (go down to NL10 at 500$)
NL50 --> 2,500$ (go down to NL25 at 1,250$)

Nice first day

Btw you can/should be much more aggressive with BRM if you dont plan to take money out of bank roll.

Thanks mate !
What kind of brm would you suggest ? 30 buy ins instead of 50?
I really don’t want to make any other deposit anymore this is my last chance so I want to be a bit more strict with my brm

Depends on your skill level. You probably have high WR on micros so even 20bi would be fine(of course if you are ok with variance that comes with that) and as your edge gets lowers your BRM should be more conservative.

Here is good video about that

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JohfEAp4lmk

and googl sheet for optimal BRM

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...MdA/edit#gid=0

You can see that for 4bb/100 winner should take a shoot when his BR reaches 25bi for next stake.

Can someone explain me why there is so much difference between GG graph and PT4 graph?
Because, when I import hands, there are no errors so I should have exact data.

In GG for example, for today's session I should have won 3,97$ + 15,22$ + 24,73$ - 8,06$ which equals to 35.86$ which is 7 buy'ins in NL5 but PT4 shows me only 9$ won for today which is not even 2 buy'ins wtf there are 5 buy'ins diffence this is huge!

PT4 graph data for today:

welcome back, will be following your progress as mentioned above, when in micros (aka. the rake trap) I also suggest to shot take aggressively. good luck!

Do you know why the WR is not the same from my 2 pictures here above ? It’s the same filters and exactly the same number of hands

Hello,

I am playing now 4 rush and cash tables on GGpoker nl10 and these are my results over 20k hands.

I feel not confident enough about my GTO (I am playing very exploitative at these levels).

I have solved all the postflop solutions on server and wondering mby I will get simple GTO trainer and play for 2 or 3 weeks non stop to increase my GTO level…
