Hey guys, not updated in a while as I took some days off to get away from poker. I needed some time off after Friday, it was pretty bad, got like 17th in Big22 and kind of went crazy as it could've been a big score for me and gotten me like $3k irl money, which is very needed. Anyway, just spent time doing non-poker stuff over the last few days; went to the cinema with my gf to see Looper, spent weekend with her, played tennis and just chillaxed.

Got back on it today. First day I played on Stars.fr, so it was the 1st time I've 4-sited before. I didn't find it that bad, I just tiled all euro sites and stacked Stars.com, always works nicely for me. My new 27.5" monitors helps.

Anyway, I had a really good day for my first day back after hating poker. I made about $4k and got 3 1sts and my 3rd biggest score. #TLBssssssss

Afaik it's only like that with .fr, you can't play on .es or .it outside of their respective country's. On .fr you can make an account if you're from Europe but not row iirc.

Hello folks. Not had much to report, hence why I've not for a few days. My downswing is over now, not really running bad anymore. Just a realisation that I suck now . I've got makeup down to the lowest it's been in recent weeks. Now got it down to about $2.2k which I should clear by the end of the month I think. Just need to either grind it out slowly or just bink something juicy, both options are definitely attainable before the start of the next month. I've been doing a lot of reviews lately as I think I've got worse since coming out of my downswing, so going over tons of hh with friends or on my own to iron out some leaks.

Anyway, onto results over the last 10 days. I've had 60th in the Big8 and 23rd and 38th in the Big11 in the last 3 days! That was pretty annoying as they're both like 6k+ runner fields, so don't know how often I'll get that deep in them both again. I got 2nd in the 15e 6max club(the one I've shipped before) for about $1k. 3rd in some $5quad for about $800. Shipped some $8 donkament for $530; no idea why I even play it, probably just to fill table space when I'm grinding the night session. Lastly, shipped Big50 on Stars.fr for about $2.1k which was nice. The standard was horrific but I absolutely bossed the FT.


Even though it's pennies, 1sts are still nice. #tlbssssss

Spending the weekend with my girlfriend, so not grinding until Tuesday! .
Might not even grind on Tuesday either, as my friend reminded me of 2months2million and I think I'm going to watch that again for the lols.

Hey guys, I thought I'd update the thread before I go to bed since I had a decent grind today. I started watching 2months2million for the 3rd time yesterday, ****ing awesome tv show!

I FT Big30 on .fr, was 1/9 and got 7th(puke), I ran pretty bad in two spots B2B.
I FT $5r [15k gtd], I was 1/9 again w/$3.2k ftw and got 6th(puuuuuke), impatient at very start of FT then card dead for the rest of it, and got a bit unlucky with laddering, oh well.
I won the $4r [4-max, 2k gtd] for $760.
I only played it as I was low on tables and just added it in and won it for the first time I've played it in months #luckbox

I got a coach, played tons and tons. Reviewed my games with my coach, my friends. I got a CardRunners membership and watched videos. I played HUsngs(best way to improve imo).

Yo guys. Not much to say. Feel I've improved a lot in last few days as I did a 5 hour review with a sicko which was super helpful and got me thinking about more stuff. I've started to play hudless! I'm really liking it to be honest. I'm thinking more about decisions and what's the optimal play instead of being effected by stats and having my decisions wrongly altered because of it. I'm paying greater attention to the games and dynamics. I'm really enjoying it, so I'll keep playing without one until it gets really sour.

Not much to report on results apart from the fact that I'm unable to close in good tournaments. So many 5-20ths in good tournies lately, just need to close one of them out eventually.

Won the $4r [4max] for the 2nd time in 4 days. I got 2nd in it last night as well. Would've been so cool to go B2B, but 1st, 1st and 2nd in 4 days is still pretty good. $2000 collectively over the last 4 days from that donkament. Weee


Might play tomorrow but not sure. Going to bed at 7.30am, so gunna be hard to wake up at a reasonable time and have the motivation to grind. Might just take it off and rest and put in a big grind on Sunday.

Thanks. I get coaching 2 time a week, one from the stake and one paid privately. I review on my own with myself and I review with good friends as well. But I don't only go over hh, for example, I spent about 2/3 hours last night just discussing a concept with a friend and doing all the math behind it. About 3bet/c KJ otb w/28bb vs CO/HJ if we have created the right image if he's 4betting 14%. We discuss loads of stuff like this all the time and just think of new ideas and concepts.

Well, he didn't recommend me to start playing without it. But yes, he plays hudless and we talked about it and he told me the pros of it and I was 4 hours into my grind and it was going atrocious and I just decided "cant get any worse, may as well try it" and the grind turned around instantly and I'm enjoying it a lot more as well. I also never hooked the hud up on .fr and I'm up loads on that site, but not sure if it's due to playing hudless or the fact that .fr is so easy and it plays deep which favours me as I think i'm decent postflop. So giving it a whirl on all sites and seems to be going pretty well. And, I haven't needed to cut down tables either, but I have cut some crap out though as I play so much better when I play less tables.
