Just a tip, stop with the profit goals and switch it up to quality of play goals.

I say that because things that are out of your control just end up contributing to tilt/winners tilt which in turn has a negative impact on your game.

Hey Ben. You're so right about the profit goals. Unsure what else to put in apart from to log 100k hands and play my best throughout though. Looking at it though, monetary incentives seem sorta stupid in a game with so much variance.

Sick month. How are you finding the difference between NL100 and NL200? NL200 seems fairly soft in the evening European times but can be dry in the morning/afternoon outside of weekends.

Ummm. Honestly, since the rakeback removal 100-200z both just seem quite soft in general. I've found the jump noticeable but if you're not having any problems at 100z then you wont have difficulties at 200z. It's more aggressive and regs understand ranges a bit better on average, but there are still countless amounts of leaks.

Subbed. I used watch your streams a lot when I ever could catch them. You're a complete sicko and come across as a really genuine nice guy. When and if I move up to 10NL (lol 2NLZ toughest games on Stars :P) or so I'll definitely hit you up for some coaching. I remember you said that you sailed through the Zoom pools pretty sharpish, from 2NL to decent stakes in no time....what stuff made you fly up so quickly? You're obviously good with numbers and maths but would be interesting to see what worked for you.

No but honestly everything pokerwise is good - playing other sites and some stars. 500z when on stars and will hopefully get some graphs to post in time but don’t want to share external results away from stars.

Hopefully smash the end of this year and really progress next year.

Held some BTC for a while so last few months have obviously helped too.

Will post some stuff if I get a bigger sample at 500z otherwise not much else results wise I’m willing to post.

Looking back on 2017 it’s been bigger and more successful than I could have anticipated.

I managed to beat 50, 100 and 200 zoom pools comfortably. I played higher on alternative sites and made more than I had targeted over the year. I want to thank everyone who I worked with throughout 2017 as all of your insights and conflicting opinions have helped allow me to climb the stakes and make a living out of poker.

I also coached around 15 people who I hope all found the content and advice I provided them useful and worth their money.

So where does that leave me for 2018?
- Going to play whatever is the most profitable mid-high stakes. I predict I will look to get a solid sample at 500z finally and look at my options elsewhere. If games are dead I’ll consider 200z. I’ve tried starting 5/10zoom but it won’t seem to run (unless I want to play 3handed vs end bosses); I’ll pass thanks

- Crypto has also helped me significantly and will continue to do my research there and invest accordingly

- Want to find more action to buy and people to stake who I know within poker

- Manage my time and expectations well. Going to be a hectic year balancing out hedge fund work, mid-high stakes and investments but definitely doable.

Dependant on my position and how the industry looks I might invest more time into investing and poker later in the year. Not at computer but will post stars results for 2017 later today.

Good luck in 2018 and maybe expect more activity from me here!
