i am patrick, 26 years old... playing poker as hobby, new to this forum... having hopefully an interesting experiment...

my poker background

i started playing poker about 8 years ago...
i started online having pretty good results for a beginner... i wss playing mostly holdem on cg, mtt and sng as well....
after some time i got bored about it, took a break and 3 years ago i startet some livepoker, about once a week....
i had very good results there... up for very good 5figures only last year...
playing there mostly cg, mostly omaha 5/10 to 10/20.... some 2-7 some holdem and some dealers choice...

i had a combination of poker and life bankroll... which made me struggle a bit... cause swings on those levels can be pretty hard to handle....
so i decided to run this blog to build a poker-bankroll and keep the rest of the won money as lifebankroll, buying cool things and enjoying life

my goal
i could start with 10k as well but just want to start with 1k to develop a pokerroll which is seperate from my life money... which will allow me to handle swings far better... mentally as well...
i want to develop this bankroll by starting onlinepoker.... and later also do a combination with livepoker to play bigger tourneys as well... with the imaginare goal of 100k..

brm plan

staring with 1k€ by playing cg .5/1 cashin 50bb up to 8 tables... as well in combination witj mtt and some sng maybe... playing from laptop and sometimes fromr smartphone...

by reachig 2.5k i will cash out 25% above the 2.5k on a weekly basis zo safe the money for livepoker-roll
by 5k same with 33%
by 10k same with 50%

starting with 1k and .5/1 will be pretty hard and far depending on habing a good start cause of aggressive brm...
i will give shots to next level by reaching 30 buy in of 50bb for new level..

my weaknesses

1. i did not played online seriously for about 3 years.... ( just every here and than for fun, up to 5/10 omaha, without brm, cause i have enough in liferoll, which i saw as br at this point... stupid i know but sometimes very successful)

2. i found out i really tend to tilt on low levels.. and wanna try to get off it by running this blog..

3. so i try to take it serious by running this blog making younfun by reading and seeing how it develops

why do i write here

1. i want to take it serious und writing about this will help me to take it serious... and dont get this ****off thought..
2. i wanna have much more comfort when a swing hits me..
3. i even dont know if i have enough skills to survive this challenge cause i am pretty sure onlinepoker changed the last years and i dont know where i am standing right now.. by analyse some.hands with you inwanna find out....

last but not least

i have never used additional/ tracking software... i think about using pokertracker or holdemmanager now for tracking results for this challenge.. what do you think about it?

i will zhink about playing mostly holdem... when br increase maybe add some omaha... but not sure about it yet...

so i hope you will have fun by reading and giving me good advice

btw.. i will play about 20 hours a week... i think...

first session playing mobile for about 1 hour 4 tables.... ended up 59€... may add some mtt now... lets have a look..

adding some mtts was first step on the way to die trying..
didnt cash im about 7 tourneys...
had some .5/1 holdem cg as well which run pretty good, but mtt were too expensive... although i had twice a pretty good chance for making an good cash, but lost coinflip twice, which would made me a good position...

should have more discipline and not playing too expensive mtts at the beginning....
learning by doing....

yiiiihaaa had a good run this evening... played one 22$ tournament with 277 players... 18 players left... i was 3rd in chips.... barreld 3 times against 2nd chipleader.. what happened... my ace high run into poker on river by all in... 18. place... ****... played such an stupid move there... but played some omaha nearby which pushed br massive...

only played one 22$ sat which didnt run well.. in addition to some omahagames wich run pretty well again...

however.. goal is the same

one more our omaha 1/2 from mobilephone increases br to incredible 3908!!!!

didnt expect such a rocketstart by adding omaha...
