Re: Without plan B!!!

First session of the month today, after 5k hands we run super bad with some bad river calls and 3 barrels bluff vs bad regs!
Now i will study some staffs and focus to draw play oop and how to play vs donks on flop.

Re: Without plan B!!!

Following your challenge man...and your BQ posts. GL.

Just a thought. Your micro game must be pretty solid by now. Could you not exchange a lower win rate for better rake back by moving up?

I'm no expert (yet) but someone could tell you when the better rake back (FFP) structure kicks in on Stars. What is it 25nl???? 50nl????

Pretty sure you could at least be a marginal winner at these levels (once you grind up 20 buy in + of course).

What is your rake back (FPP) strategy buy the way. I use mine on sunday storm hyper turbo sats (250 FPP - $11 payout). I money about 30% in these and cash in the $11 for touney money, which I use on 45 sng.

gives me good rb, plus I practice tourney skills, should I ever get the chance to bink a big one.

If you are still on 5nl, I'm the brit who will always have a fish or two to my right

I play 40fpp-80fpp satelites for $5,50 - $11 tourneys.. I win a lot with those really fishy! I think many people who go busto do these satelites and play nitty like a fish.. postflop u just bet and they fold

I converts fpps to $$$,now i am gold member and 6.250fpp= 75$
Maybe play the tourneys is better but i have not the time.

Re: Without plan B!!!

You guys are so lucky! The other thing that makes it hard for me to get back into poker is the lack of sites available to US players. I play on Bovada right now where there are fish all the way up into 50NL or even 100NL (at least from watching the games, that's what I can see.) But no HUD, and I think they limit your table numbers.

Try the 235 fpp hyper turbo sattelite to the $11 sunday storm. They are over in 5minutes and it is somewhat luck dependent but with a little adjustment I think you can cash over 33%. When I did the math I saw it is more profitable to play those than to convert into $$$. Btw you can sel $T at the best exchenge rateshttps://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/61...t-here-291728/

it sucks

Can u explain why people can play on certain sites (lock & bovada) while it is iligal in US..? Is it so fishy?? That's a good point isn't it? No hud? Why? No hand history saving posibilities?

No idea, but it's frustrating that you can play casino games but not poker for real.

How's this month going, Noobis? I'm up 11 BIs these past two weeks playing mixed holdem and omaha and running REALLY hot. I'm just trying to rake a bunch to unlock my bonuses Do you think if I run super well, I should move up to .1/.2 to get more rake and unlock bonuses, and after that period is over, move back to where I'm comfortable? If it means anything, I think I could beat .1/.2 for a slightly smaller winrate than I have now, but my sample size must be under 20k hands right now. Sigh. Can't wait for summer when I can play more.

Thnx for reminding me 'bout the champions league.. Now I have reason NOT to study LOL XD..

U are right.. Stay where u are when u are not 100% sure to move up! And u are crushing 5nl.. ur BR keeps growing anyway. When u eventually move up, you are a REAL BR-nit.. that's a positive thing these days imo. People move up with 15 BI or so..

In my opinion a good first sample must be 500k hands, after that i can study my database and fix some leaks, then i move up and play 500k hands again and try to adjust to the stake and fix again some leaks. This is my plan, ppl move up after 30k hands cos win 30bins or something, that mean nothing for me,maybe run hot or bad,how i will know about it if i will not play 500k hands?

I lose 1.5bb/100 playing nl5 zoom after 17k hands but i win nl10 zoom 3bb/100 after 43k hands. That does not make sense cos samples its small.

study stady stady...That seems good plan to me!

Re: Without plan B!!!

Homework,a hand for analisis.

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #16823401

    SB: $11.02 (220.4 bb)
    BB: $5.41 (108.2 bb)
    UTG: $11.81 (236.2 bb)
    Hero (MP): $12.63 (252.6 bb)
    CO: $5 (100 bb)
    BTN: $1.92 (38.4 bb) 13/8/50% reraise c bet/50%fold to c bet/54% W%SD/1,7% 3bet/2,5k hands.

Preflop: Hero is MP with A J
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.15, CO folds, BTN calls $0.15, 2 folds
His BTN calling range i think its:22-JJ,AQ,AJ,ATs,KQ,QJ,JT. Vs that range we have 50% equity and he have the position!

    Flop: ($0.37) 9 T Q (2 players)
Hero bets $0.21, BTN raises to $0.60, Hero raises to $12.48, BTN calls $1.17 and is all-in

I c bet that flop,i dont know, i have OESD and overcard. On that flop mine equity its 42% vs his range. He reraise me and after that i can fold-call-jam.His reraising range is set,TP,OESD=57 combos.Vs that range i have 35% equity.
I think the best play here its b/f flop.

    Turn: ($3.91) 3 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
    River: ($3.91) 9 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

    Spoiler:

Get the Flash Player to use the Hold'em Manager Replayer.

    Re: Without plan B!!!

seems standard to cbet that flop, he'll fold enough times to make it ok but if he calls then you'll plan on giving up unless your OESD completes most likely. As played once he raises I think it makes more sense to just fold since this is nano's AND zoom where you can just find more juicy spots instead of doing marginal or minor +EV stuff when big fatties await you. I'd just fold. Also when you mention you have overcards (the A), he'll prob raise with AQ, sets which even if the A does come it doesn't help you so I can't see how in the world stacking off is good. but since he's short it would be safe to say he might stack off any Q he has so KQ, and QJ, of those you still don't beat any of them, and he could also be doing so with any OESD+pair since he has so many SC that just means if you don't hit one of the 3 A or 4 K you kinda just lose here as you'd need to hit the top end of the OESD as your both drawing to the bottom of it.
PS.sorry my response is such a cluster****.

I'm folding in that spot. vs this tight player your overcard wont be good. fish jam Qx here but not nit
If you call he jams turn. On flop vs set 25%. Vs KJ 12.57%. We can remove probably keep queens in that range since 1.7% is sooo nitty. Best case scenario: he decided to play OESD aggressively. vs QJs/o JTs/o and JJ 34.254%. We need 39.89% pot odds to jam the flop, we just cant get that. If i combine sets + OESD + KJ we get 26.15%. Even vs overpair still an underdog. If PF was 3-bet, then we might be able to jam here b/e.

It's a good attitude, but I really think you're doing your game a disservice by not moving up sooner. I'm not saying you should be rocketing through the limits, but you could be beating 25 NL now, and you're clearly solid on your fundamentals from what I've seen in your graphs. Plus, the game changes so much between 5 NL and 25 NL (so many more regs). You might as well get to a point like 25NL and focus on putting in a large volume there because that's where you'll see more aspects of your game you can improve upon that will transfer to the rest of your career.
