I'm probably not the only one, but if I grind long hours for a couple of days in a row, it takes me a few to get to where I can converse with something approaching normal language, energy and rhythm.

It seems all the games have been gross - the last few days I've just re-ramped up and grinded a bunch of $200s for a super-variance good hourly with SNE. Would prefer to select more, but it seems I just sit around for 20-30 minutes with the same 4-5 regs regging every game, and just say "f-it" after a while and jump in and let others deal. I may have my first negative redline month in a long time, but my hourly should still be pretty good (*crossed fingers*).

Did manage to pull $2,200 last week from BOP - was looking to mix in more high stakes Turbos this week to try and get another 100 score, but the several softer recreational spots that float through those games seemed to be absent today and I didn't run super-duper-uber hot off the bat, so I'll probably be more selective there the rest of the week.

Hmmm, so all those things I was saying about not trying to get a ton of VPPs and just being selective. So far, that's resulted in waiting...and waiting...and waiting...while nothing but crap games go off, so I've just said f- it and jumped on the variance roller-coaster.

I've started open-sitting my normal games and am getting ~2k VPPs/hour. Feel okay about my redline, given how crappy the games have been & my open-sitting just about everything. cev actually looks pretty good compared to past months and the one spot I'm running bad there is on the bubble (my HU cev is still meh but I'm running hot there).





I've been getting my table count to 16-18 at times, 12 is probably the minimum I've been playing of late. The nice part of my work arrangement is when I'm home in SD, I can't play poker, so the only thing I can do is study. I'd normally have to kind of force myself to review things, but now I just put my hands for the day on a storage device, bring them home, and load them onto my laptop and kind of half-watch TV, half-review some things from my play that day. Having that extra daily clarity has definitely helped managing a higher table count in super-crap games when you have to quickly make a bunch of read-based decisions.

So...maybe we'll just get ahead of pace in Jan/Feb after all

if you dont mind me asking, what part of SD do you live? only reason I ask is I moved from Balboa Park'ish area to Rosarito, so I find your commute intriguing. with the new village club opening in May, I might do something similar and jump between live/online.

Been driving by there on the way to Pancho Villa Farmer's Market on the other side of the 805. Daily fresh made corn tortillas with corn, lime, and water. Nada mas. Get stale after a day, but so damn good and only 99 cents for 14. Grilled chicken tacos FTW.
