surprised at your rooney hate. don't get me wrong, he's no iniesta! but, especially under extreme scrutiny, he's been our most important player in collecting the ball, retaining possession - everything goes through him and it's bringing some composure and structure to our attacks, imo. the onus is more on lallana and alli to drop into those dangerous final third spaces; the former doing a better job so far.

I just always believe that the second CM (the 8 if you like), needs to be able to play the ball vertically to be effective. Kind of like a Cazorla, Fabregas etc. Just watching Rooney, he will recieve the ball from Dier etc but constantly play it wide to Walker/Rose, and very often very flat so they are still in front of the full back anyway. Maybe it is Lallana/ Alli/ kane not dropping into the holes, haven't payed too much attention to that so could be right to be fair, just something I noticed at United too so convinced he just doesn't move the play forward enough. And obviously almost all really big chances come from turning the midfield quickly, rather than playing it wide and thumping crosses in.
This is also completely disregarding his complete lack of defensive ability which I think could be a big issue vs better teams.
Issue is our other two players for that position are Henderson and Wilshere, but I am convinced at least in terms of springing the play forward Wilshere would be better.

EDIT; think it becomes a particular problem too vs teams sat in like Wales were the other day, if you don't move it quickly between the lines just becomes quite hard to break down. EG is the way sturridges goal came really, just soo much more likely to create big chances that way than going flat through wide areas imo.

We're looking good so far. A bit gutted about yesterday, it all went downhill after Modric had to go out. Our defense is a bit shaky, we'll see where we stand again Spain. That will be an interesting game, both teams would be satisfied with a draw but doubt Spain will play like that. With 2nd place we'd go up against Italy if I'm not mistaken. They haven't impressed me so far and we've done well historically against them but you never know with them once knockout stages start. I'd say it's gonna depend on whether Modric recovers or not.

I don't even want to go on a rant about some of our "fans" on the stadium.

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much about the Czech game, obvious mistakes but like that header is a ridiculous goal and conceding those kind of chances is not going to be a problem long term. You could also have scored more from the chances you created easily. I'm a massive fan of the way your team is set up, hoping Modric makes it to next round. The model I follow has you at 57% to face Italy in next round, which I'd guess you're a small favourite in!

Getting incredibly frustrated with poker at the moment, felt myself starting to tilt at the end of today so snap quit. Swings this month have been pretty big considering the stakes I'm playing and the edge I think I have, and would like to not get so irritated by them. Month is looking pretty meh with 2 -10bi days.

Quickly goin back to the video, if you have the problem of forgetting what actions happened in the hand regularly, you can change the chat settings to show all dealer's messages then it shows all the actions in the chat. It's a bit fiddly to look through the chat but obv worth it in some spots.

Sooo month is up and wasn't a great one, felt like I ran pretty badly overall;





Reason for delay in update is because I genuinely wasn't sure if I made 50k hands so had to request hands from stars, as played a bit on laptop before it broke (and party, but no luck there). Also party has missed off approx 600$ in winnings according to cashier so no idea why it's missing any hands, if anyone knows how to fix please let me know.
On the positive side, if I didn't play any zoom, which I am planning not to next month, my w/r would have been a lot better. Got a few things to work on game wise, so hopefully next month is a lot more positive.

Looking back on last months goals;

Poker

• 50k hands minimum- Suceeded, just
• 1 Coaching Video- Made two
• No timbeys- Success
• No more than 10k hands at 200z+- Success

Outside of Poker

• At least 30 minutes exercise every day- Fail, missed quite a few
• Bouldering once a week- Fail, only went once, did complete a new hardest route though, will hopefully have some videos next month.
• Leg strength work once a week- Fail, missed one week, really bad here
• Rebounding (mini trampoline) 10mins p day- Fail, missed tons of days
• Ski once before months end- Fail, but going Tuesday evening
• 5k in under 20:40- Fail, but sooo close;

Sooo a clean sweep of passes on poker and fails on outside poker!
Going to set more realistic goals next month, as got 2 weddings and 2 graduations to attend, plus dad is having knee surgery so goign to have a lot more time constraints;

• Renew 2+2 coaching listing
