Long story short, I have been playing nl25-nl50 for a few years. I was beating it but definitely not crushing and couldn't really move up. So I tried MTT's. MTT's can be painful but they are way more interesting than cash. So I switched the discipline. Played some really low stakes at first, then got backing and coaching from MTT school and now I play mostly from 5 to 27 dollar tourneys and have fun playing and studying it.
My graph for last 11 month:
Going to post some thoughts, reports, updates on my progress and (hopefully) screens with tourney wins!
At the moment my ABI is 10-11 and I'm increasing it lilttle by little. As soon as I have a decent distance on ABI 15, I'm going to reapply for bitb stable. Just hope that variance won't be very hard on me.
Last week was okayish. Grinded during off-peak times (morning/afternoon in Europe) except Sunday. Grinding small AFS is like going to work but on Sundays I let myself have some fun so I play large AFS and increase ABI.
Subscribed to HRC again and looked up some spots with it. Should do that more often because almost every time it surprises me
Well, it was sort of experiment and actually I don't like how I played here ... I played a lot versus this guy in the past few weeks and got decent amount of hands on him. He is a good reg but check-raises way too much and on this flop he doesn't really represent anything. So do I with my 3bet and he most probably understands that and can continue to 4bet his trash. Since I have range advantage in this spot I thought no way I'm giving up just like that and went on with light 5b and luckily for me he folded :-)
But yeah after giving some thought to this hand I think it wasn't a good idea to 5b ... Should have just called his 3b and tried to do something on latter streets because if he had any backdoors he would never give up to such 5b sizing.
Tomorrow I am off to Georgia (not the US lol) with my girlfriend so no poker for 10 days. Really excited and we wanted to go there for quite a while now. It is very picturesque country with very friendly people and lots of wine
Georgia was just amazing. Its such a great destination for tourists but I was surprised not to see many tourists around. Which actually makes this destination event more great. I have been to 37 countries and Georgia is definitely in my TOP 5.
People were so friendly there, sometimes they treated us like family or close friends, giving us stuff or food and refusing to take money. No one tried to scam us which usually happens in touristic places. Even the taxi drivers were honest and reasonable
The views were spectacular. In some places it felt as if we are in Austria or Italy.
Kutaisi and Sighnaghi:
Borjomi:
Tbilisi:
Food and wine were tasty as well. And cheap, very cheap. A nice dinner for two with a bottle of wine costs from 15 to 25 euros.
So yeah I'm a fan of Georgia now and definitely coming back, there is still so much to see and experience.
Gained a few extra kilograms so its time to hit the gym and run. And no alcohol until middle of June since my limit was overdone during the trip
Otherwise I'm glad I started doing sports regularly again - signed up to gym, did a few runs and some rollerskating. Got a fitness watch as well. It's so much more fun doing sports with it because all the activity gets tracked. Reminds me of rakeback somehow

Reason: spelling
Booked 1-way tickets to Cancun with my gf in November. Not sure for how long we are going but probably for more than 2 month. Going to grind there as well. Very excited about it!
So about a year ago I applied to bitb staking but they didn't take me because I played ABI 5-6 and told me to reapply in a year when I beat at least ABI 15. So I did reapply a week ago. Currently I play ABI 8-10 and I sent them this screenshot which shows I can beat ABI 15 in my opinion
Spoiler:
But they still refused to take me
So I applied to Pocarr and few other stables. Pocarr came up with the best offer and I know some guys who are there already and they really like it. They don't just look at your results in $$$ but watch how you study and attend coachings. So in a few days I will be a part of Pocarr team! Feel excited about that as well!
