I just played a couple of hours Limit Holdem at the $0.02/$0.04 and $0.05/$0.10 levels.

It's so frustrating! All it basically consists of is people chasing draws. I lost about $0.50 on a hand because I made a set of 10's but someone beat me because they managed to catch a flush on the river. It was a hardly a strong flush either - he had 64s as his hole cards.

Then I've noticed when a flush doesn't hit, people will give up on the river pretty much all the time. A guy I was up against lost, but decided to show his cards. He was chasing a flush draw but didn't hit.

I don't know if this is just the case at the low limits or not, or whether it's all about chasing draws at higher limits too.

How are you ever sure you're beat either? Given that it goes down to the river pretty much all the time.
