I'm not thinking going full time or 'pro' in Poker as I do not think I am ready yet. It was just a general discussion we have among friends.
If we were to say we have monthly outgoings of £800 and we play say 100 $15 18 mans a day (is that too many or too little I'm not sure) with some live £1/£1 casually, what kind of life bankroll should be have in the bank to pay for bills and such and how much should we have in a poker bankroll?
Don't quit your job unless you're making at least twice as much $/hour (including at least 1 hour of study time a day, accounting for any differences in travel etc) over a huge sample.
You also have to factor in the amount of time it may take you find to employment which affords you the standard of living you wish. If you can walk back into a job the day you decide you obviously will not need £10k in the bank for bills.
