My name is Graham and I am from Dublin, Ireland. I am a 35 year old professional gambler and still (just barely) an avid Water Polo player.

My poker journey began about 15 years ago where through working with my father (Bookmaker) I played in a number of small stakes games after Horse racing meetings we were working at. I then won a few poker tournaments in some of the casino’s in the city and dabbled online. After working with a large online betting company I went out on my own in 2009 and setup what can only be described as an internet cafe for professional Horse Racing gamblers (we offerred fast pictures for clients to bet in running), After this business failed in 2012 I started gambling professionally and have been doing so ever since.

Very lucky to have found something that I love but I’m finding it more and more difficult to get bets on with the bookmakers (they do not like winners). Poker is what drew me into gambling in the first place and it has always been a passion of mine. My main goal through entering the coaching for profits program on BPC is to become a high stakes SNG player. Other goals would include consistently putting in the hours (study/play/analysis) each week and to be constantly learning and adapting.

The topic title I chose is one of my favourite qoutes from Viktor Frankl (holocaust survivor) and I think it is incredibly pertinent to this poker journey I am about to undertake.

Wishing you all the best of luck at the tables
