**July Update**



50 went great. I'm totally comfortable at that stake now. Unfortunately I had a disaster 100nl shot around the 20th of the month. There is actually another buyin lost there where I GII pre with jacks and lost to AA. I just couldn't win a hand.

On the plus side, it forced me to reevaluate my play. I was getting way too loose and not !3 enough. Since then I believe my play has been much better.

Just missed my hands goal but pretty happy with my volume overall.

I play on Ignition as well. When starting a whole month of shellacking, time for some more study and hand review (one at a time, even hands not involved with) in database. Review which hands make the most money. I have it noted to not go all in with JJ pre flop. Sure, there could be smaller pairs, as in this case, BUT, QQ, KK, Ax combos can beat you easily. Also note Kx combos and Qx combos. Just my opinion. Try some 50% study to 50% play. I also only play Zone, so they don't have read on me.

Just cannot win a hand at showdown this month. Down a pretty impressive amount of AIEV BIs in a depressingly small amount of hands

Study my friend. I actually practice Zone, and study my hands from there. They have bad players, even at 50nl. On the turn, your two pair were beat by a straight. A lot of semi bluffs on the micros are shove all ins (they probably only have 2 buyins, and this has been their strategy since 5nl) with fllush draws and even gut shots (though those are a bit less frequent). That is only one hand. Over the long term, you win from that kind of play.

For instance, I flopped two pair on flop, and other flops A with flush draw. I raise with 2 pair, he re raises to point of pot commitment, I shove. 80% of time, or 70% of time, I win. Makes up for those times you lose.

PS, I don't use hud stats in my live play, Session stats can be misleading. You know those times you are card dead? That makes you a nit, but that is not how you usually play. Why I don't really use HUD. Now, if on site where have accumulated stats, then hud is beneficial.
