Hi guys!

I´m starting out to play NLH 6-max (mostly) from NL2 to 200NL.
It´s a long way, i know that, but i need to start somewhere so i figured that i start at the bottom for felling it out, and to set up my HUD. (HM2).

The goal is to do this blog to start and keep track of how i´m doing, and to be a winner att all stakes along the way.
No timelimit, but i will try to play 20h/week.

Bankroll for 20byins for start.

I have 20$ to start with so i use the bankroll managment when i reach 20byins.

So i start kicking right away!

First day:

Started = 21,55$

Ended = 22,12$

Played 265 hands for 10,75bb/100

Started by playing really bad.
I was down 1,2$ cause i called way to much pre/postflop and folded too much on the two last streets.

I´m to tired to play today so i will be back tomorrow.

Day 2

Hi guys!

Nothing to declare today. Very tired so i closed the pokergame with early, lot of luck and up.

Start: 22,12$

Ended: 25,53$

Played 42 hands so...

News:

I am going to read 3 books (love books before videos) and the list goes like this:

Verneer - Building a Bankroll.

Harrington - Harrington on Online Cash Games: 6-Max NLH.

Michael Acevedo - Modern Poker Theory.

I think thats a good start.

Ty!

My startingplan is for 3h/day, but when i´m tired i don´t even beat 2NL, so i rather miss out than play tired.

More money is coming and i plan to build my bankroll with play and deposits.

Sorry about my comment but i tend to be a playing machine. It takes a long time to build it up. If you start at 2nl. You neef to play like 2.5 3K hands per day. At that speed it takes like 1month to get to the next step at 6-8bb/100. Be patient.

No worries man.

I play at 2 tables for now, tried 4 but that didnt work well.

I need a bigger screen and some preflop dicipline for that

I understand the thing with with volume vs speed, and i will do that, but not when im tired cause then i loose instead.

Day 3

Started = 25,53$

Ended = 27,81$

Played 339 hands for 26,70bb/100

Tired as f**k but tried to see hands/hours so i guess i would do about 650-700hands/3hour session with 2 tables.

Thats some volume GG. Yeah poker is very exhausting. You almost forget when you do it all the time.

Is the volume more important than The winnings?

I have been sleeping between 2-3 hours/Night for a week, and I have a 40h job as well.

How much do you need to sleep?

Day 4 was a small win for under 40hands.

Day 5.... The worst day so far.

Played 773 hands in almost 5hours today, and lost every singel hand i played.

If i won a small pot with K 10, i lost the next with cracked Aces.

I dont think that i`ve ever lost ALL allins in a singel day before, at least 3 AA, and all where cracked.

Started = 27,81$

Ended = 21,30$

773 hands for -45,47bb/100

Really bad day, thats i shoud`nt have played at all.
Hand nr 10 or something was a 10,10 VS KK and i missclicked allin preflop. Should have ended there but i never had a 5hour run for s**t before.

4 days of winnings blasted away.

Losing like 3 buyins including a missclick allin isn't that bad, variance is part of the game so you can't say you shouldn't have played at all, don't think of your losses in terms of 4 days of winnings especially when you had days where you played like 40 hands...

You shouldn't care much about results, if you played well everything is totally fine, it's all about the long run

Also try to get some sleep, I say this and I have sleeping issues my whole life but you need way more sleep than 2-3 hours a night.

I am usually sleeping 6h/night, but need 7-8h, but last week was a really bad week for starting out.

Day 7

491 hands 2h,20min.

Started 31,06$

Ended 32,18$

Got lucky in one of the last hands.
Was up 2$ in 10minutes and then lost lost lost until the last hands and ended in a small win for the day.

The feeling was that i should have ended the game after 15minutes.

You shouldn't stop early if you're up or down imo, unless you're down a LOT

Keep playing if you're playing your A game
Stop playing if you're playing bad

It feels like I dont always play my A-game, specially when i play really good and get outdrawn and they play really bad.
If I loose 2 byins against a bad loose-aggressive player i start to play bad.
