That sounds insane. How well do your friends do on Tinder? You're Scottish so I know this isn't a weird cultural difference (Yank dating is odd).

I had a decent amount of success with it and never waited more than a few days. If they weren't on board, I'd unmatch and move on.

The longer you wait, the more opportunity they have to get bored or find someone better.

Anyway, solid pokering either way!

There are 7 combos of hands that we lose to, and potentially 8 combos that we beat, QQ, AJdd and AJss. Stationy villains may make occasional hero calls with 78ss, JTdd or QJdd. I think AJdd is likely to raise otf and AJss likely to fold, given the half pot sizing. I also think QQ might fold river some % as well, because most AK and AQ combos will check somewhere and he probably doesn't think I'd shove AJ for value.

It's not even close with KK there, always a jam, jamming QQ too and AJ, KJ/JQ would be kinda thin, but I can see a world where we can jam TT for value there.

I'm saying this because I catch myself in your shoes a ton of the time, 50z/100z is a nitfest, nits outnitting the nits. So it's easy to see yourself in that spot with KK thinking "omg, villain won't call with worse ever".

That's when you should realize that if people are folding QQ/AJ/KJ there, then you're massively printing with your bluffs there, specially when all draws missed.

If you have a nit image and know villain is overfolding, don't feel bad for jamming there, just adjust by bluffing way more and start running over him. It's quite extreme, but sometimes the highest EV possible vs a villain like that with those dynamics is just to bluff every time and check back QQ/KK/AA if you think you're never getting paid, leaving you with a 90% bluffing range OTR. It's too extreme though, if villain starts calling you lighter you will get owned, also he can see your check backs and will adjust faster.

So my suggestion is just to keep valuebetting AJ/QQ+ there and always bluff when you have an opportunity. If villain is folding QQ, he is the one making a huge mistake.

Since your semi-bluffs didn't get there, villain should call with 7x/88/99/TT if you're bluffing OTR a decent amount.

One thing a ton of poker players get wrong is that "it's ok to underbluff", and say people that made a bluff and got owned are doing it wrong. For me, both underbluffing and overbluffing are huge mistakes, but underbluffing is way more common and people who play like that can still be profitable, since there will always be people making spewy calls(like calling QQ OTR vs a huge nit).

My best friend has been in a relationship with a girl he met on tinder two years ago. They met after talking for about a month (Think they switched from tinder to whatsapp after about 10 days though.) Might be worth noting that I go for the very middle-class straight-laced type.

Looking good OP, keep up the good work. If you start having bad days my advice would be to take a minimum 48 hour break from anything poker related.

Unsure how fishy the fish is from your A8s but at least from my experience, turn min raise from fish is rarely anything but the nuts, sometimes it's a spazz but as far as I can remember it has been the nuts a disproportionate amount of the time, feels like we should just always call turn with your hand and well I might end up calling this particular river.

All other hands look fine to me

                                      Yes.

Only played like 1.7k hands today as I was super tired. Games weren't great and I wasn't running too hot either.

Vs agro reg. Think I should make it like $55 otf and I'm sure the 3bet pre and his flop call is too loose. Oh well.

How many tables are you running to get this volume in? The hand numbers look quite high to me.

Thanks bro. I usually try and play 12-14 during peak times.
