So nice to hero this absolute rat and win for a change

Yesterday:

There's now 100 days until I call it a year. Definitely want to make them count. So absolutely no wasting time on Brexit/politics for me. I know I've said this before but I'm 100% serious now. I'm sure come January we'll probably have more answers about what's actually happening than now anyway.
09-22-2018 , 09:16 PM

Poker going pretty well this month, but this promo has put a big dent in my PA winnings . It's been on every single Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this month so far and I've just flicked in a £50 bet each day on even money bets and I've only won once out of 10 times! Probably only going to make £500ish from the side hustle this month instead of the normal ~£1000...

09-23-2018 , 10:47 PM
Vs reg

Vs two fishes. Flop call is bad I think, but at least I didn't miss the river spot.

09-23-2018 , 11:00 PM
thought JTs was bad, but after thinking a bit it makes a lot of sense to turn it into a bluff, WP!
A5s is just an easy fold otf as you said, fish often respect us otf, specially mw, and with one guy calling already your hand is worth close to nothing. OTR it's very good, lots of people miss that bluff and it's one that is printing like crazy.
09-24-2018 , 08:37 PM
Took the day off and just did some lab work.

Aldo did this promo which ruined my day.

Was so sure that my slots downswing was going to come to an end and I'd finally catch some heat, so I just flicked in 43 £10 spins. ~ 5 minutes later I was down almost £200. Would bite your hand off for £500 PA profit this month right now.

Poker going a lot better though, so there's that. Going to try and put in a good ~6 hours each day for the rest of September on the tables.
09-26-2018 , 01:15 PM
Volume was pretty good yesterday, but I wasn't pleased with how I played. Month now starting to slide in the wrong direction which isn't great. Still 5 days left though to turn it around and finish on a high. LFG!

Btw, does anyone know how to fix the HH converter?
09-27-2018 , 11:35 PM
Vs creative reg lol

Don't know if either of us could play the hand differently but still very nice to see the bluff here

The coffee bet working its magic lol

09-29-2018 , 04:04 AM

I have not played or ran particularly well these past couple days, but I'll try and make the most of the rest of September before the month report.
09-30-2018 , 05:28 PM
Frustrating end to the month.

Bigger update coming when I wake up. Peace.
10-02-2018 , 03:37 AM
September's Profit Accumulator bottom line:

Disappointing results. Just ran horribly at the more high variance promos, probably could have squeezed out an extra £150-£200 in profit if I put in the time to do the promos that take a bit more work, but there wasn't much else I could have done.

This bad month probably means the goal of £10,000 total profit for the year is gg. I'm at ~£5500 right now.

I watched Makeboifin's podcast with Joey and it was the absolute nuts! So good to hear him **** on zoom as well. I've always preferred reg tables because they allow for that 5-10 second break every once in a while which really helps you chill out and regain focus, and it was so nice to hear a high stakes player say that!

Going to try his approach for running 5-20 spots through pio everyday and play 4-5 hours every single day for the next while. It makes sense for me to do this right now as I'm almost 10 months in to going 1 whole year without alcohol. So I feel I should make the most of this time.

New post coming on my wordpress blog within the next day or so.

Great thread, will be following and will try to read some of the older bits when I get a chance.

The HH converter has been bugged for weeks now. No idea why it hasn’t been fixed, maybe we’re all just too lazy to notify the mods.
10-02-2018 , 06:38 AM
Good luck man! Nice to read your hands and runs, have you thought of making a twitch account for these last months? it would probably get some attention given the time you grind and your wins, you could teach some of your strategy, maybe make something extra on ads and donations, and it could also help with keeping schedule even if it doesn't seem like you need it.

Cheers mate. Good luck to you, too.

Nah probably not. I wouldn't rule it out forever but I just don't think twitch is my thing. I do absolutely love watching Tonkaaaa's highlight vids on YouTube though.

Nice one mate! I had £25 on them as well, £200 profit since I cashed out 100% at 2-2, no way I was risking it for an extra £20 if newcastle scored again lol. Going to be raising my stakes soon to £50
