The problem is that I know if will slack if I don't put some $ on the line. It makes me work more/harder and it keeps the readers more interested. win/win imo.

Glad to to have you on-board though mate!

Easier said than done if there is no loss/punishment for me if I don't.

It's been pretty bad indeed. There were no stores that had bread or milk in my town for 3 days. It's an inconvenience for sure, but obviously still nothing like the hardship felt all across the developing world.

I'm sure everyone going to produce a graph like that at some point. Just need to make sure you learn from your most costly mistakes of the month and make sure you don't produce the same **** the next month.

Oh sorry, bro. From now on I'll be sure to wrap anything I say about a tv show or Movie that I watch in spoilers. My bad!

After I about 1.7k hands I quit the session pretty tilted tbh. When I came back I knew I wasn't going to play my best and decided to just grind 100nl for a couple hours. It's an underrated skill to know when to stop playing imo. Not playing those ~5k hands/month when you play your worst poker saves us a lot of $$$ in ev.

I definitely find myself tilting more at 200nl than at 100nl which is obvious a huge problem, as the games are tougher and the swings are higher.

But I'm feeling a lot better now, especially as I played well when I was playing 100nl only.

I wouldn't fold here vs guys that actually bluff here sometimes. Vs the tightest percentile of 100nl regs with low barrel frequencies (which this guy was) it's definitely a losing call.

Not exactly. The problem is the "manosphere" subculture in general. I used to spend a lot of my spare time getting engaged in mgtow/mra discussions and I deeply regret ever doing it. Not only was it a waste of time, but it's also just an extremely toxic environment.

Jordan Peterson is far from the worst of the manosphere tribunes (Milo, Stefan Molyneux, ect.. are way worse) but they're all convincing young men who can't get laid that women are actually the privileged gender and that it is (white)men who are victims of prejudice in society. And if you detach yourself from emotions and really try and look at the world from the eyes of a ethnic minority or woman then this obviously is not the case.

And if had as much money as D7 I know I wouldn't spend a minute of my life listening to these guys, because I'd be too busy taking girls out for drinks and dinners

FWIW I wouldn't put JDP in that category - he became famous for his stance on gender pronouns and such but his lectures cover mainly child/animal/adult psychology, evolutionary history and belief systems (stated and actual), all viewed through the eyes of a stoic philosopher. Obv different strokes, could be that I'm just a fanboy but I'm nearly finished his maps of meaning series on youtube (around 30 hours of content) and I don't want any of them back - either of his JRE podcasts are a good starting point too.

You haven't seen the Cathy Newman interview have you? Also placing JBP in that category is an insult to the man.

Yeah so much this. Bought his book a week ago, don't regret it at all. His JRE podcasts + his episode on Rubin report with Ben Shapiro are very very good.

Maybe I'm wrong. But I do know that virtually all Milo fanboys are also big fans of JP. And spending time engaging in the Milo fanboy circles was one of the worst things I've ever done as far as having my outlook on the world and women moulded.
