Mini session before work. I'm just happy that I got a chance to play this year at WSOP my previous odds was 0%.

$471.76 roll.

I'm going to get a two sugar free red bulls. Kind of excited, can't sleep and got to work soon.

50/54 soda free days.

Good news my wife's surgery is successful and I might be able to play a big live tournament in August. I'm debating between WPT deepstack in Reno, AZ State Championship and WPT at the bike.

$468.86 roll.

Thanks I have a boring life. I have been married four+ years, used to grind 12 STT for part time fun money with a "real" job. Now, I'm hanging out on the American sites. I'm just taking a shot or two in the live tournament. I have been successful but just need a tad run good on Day 2.

I would love to get a "big" score to turn into a "bigger" score and maybe I can use the money to invest in one of my many ideas.

I just hate the fact that it seems like the AZ poker tournament might be the best bang for the buck but it's not advertised even on Talking Stick's website it doesn't say much. I'm kind of leaning towards Reno b/c WPT Bike is 4K. My wife should be healthy by August. Also, I got an old friend in Reno and lived there briefly. It might seem like a good time or I could flip a coin to decide.

I wish I could post pictures but I only know how to click buttons properly.

Re: Waikiki by day and clicking buttons at night

It's been crazy in real life. Almost fainted twice in the past two days. I am overworked and playing superman in my job and caring for my recovering wife. I have not even been checking out bikinis during my deliveries in Waikiki. I must be really sick but I can't take a sick day during our busiest season of the year.

51/55 days of soda free

I even weighed myself at the doctor's office. Dropped 5 lbs of fat and ready to ship a live tournament or top 3 it.

does Shore Bird still have Sunday bikini contests?

Rockza, Femma Nu and Club Rose (strip joints) still in operation?

Korean bar lady drinks still 20.00, remember the good old days when they were 5.00.

I'm not sure exactly why. I don't think Shore Bird runs that contests. The three s joints aren't as good as the glory dates. I think there was a political crackdown at the joints and never been the same.

Still walking at the beach is great at times.

Re: Waikiki by day and clicking buttons at night

I am posting again b/c a lot of changed have happened in exactly two months.

1. I started new job in Waikiki this week. A lot more stress and possible better future.
2. My wife is healed from her surgery. I gained a ton of weight again from all the stress.
3. I able to play an event at the WSOP. I had a great Vegas adventure.

Short term goals
A. Slowly drop from 216.6 lbs to 209.
B. Get my mini grind on at less twice a week.
C. Continue my 90%% soda free days.
D. Possibly increase my gym visits to three times a week after I get used to my new job.

Long term (semi-crazy) goals
A. Get my weight down to 199.9 lbs.
B. Pay for my next live major tournament with my online winnings.

Re-start stats
1/1 soda free days. +$4.71 mini 15 minute cash grind.

The 199.9 is a semi-crazy goal. I have dropped a little .

I had a crazy Vegas experience with cash games, PH event and UFC betting. But it regards to the WSOP. I will say it was "The good, the bad and the ugly."

The Good
1. I suck at cash but I ran great and played great before the WSOP event. I broke up the game b/c I semi-crushed it in less than a hour.
2. I was lucky to have an adventure and was able to go.
3. The structure for the $3K was great. I think 15K in chips, also fairly soft since it was not a NL event.

The Bad
1. I did not hit any of my huge draws.
2. This short stack at my table wouldn't die. Six times he survived all ins and I think I double him up once of twice.

The Ugly
1. I lost a semi big pot when it was a coin flip. I didn't even win the low.
2. I busted when I flopped a set, nut flush draw and the only bad door low draw.

RF,
How are things in the Northwest?

Re: Waikiki by day and clicking buttons at night

Sounds like an interesting trip!

Dropping a little is the way to go. Ive been pounding away at my weight this summer and just got a nice bump down, baby steps!

The PNW is pretty awesome. The weather has been San Diego like and looking forward for it to getting dark and colder. Nothing beats 55 degree hoodie weather for months straight .

The trip was very interesting. That was just the Rio stuff.

This morning I was down 0.6 lb but I ate a huge breakfast on my cheat day before hitting the gym.

I like the 80 degree weather and enjoying the beach views.
