I'm not sure if I was single I could be like Adam Sandler in 50 first dates. I think Hawaii is more of a couple destination but I do she groups of ladies walking around.

I have a certain soft spot for this hula dancer that I used to see once a week. Work related. She has a little edge to her.

RF. I hope that sort of answered your question.

There were a ton of Japanese girls there back in the day, bet the demographics have shifted.

My life was pretty slow over in Kailua Beach. I didnt party at that time of my life, but catching up now. I played a lot of tennis at the public courts and met a ton of girls that way.

Hula dancer sounds nice hope your wife does not read this thread

Might be wrong but I thought gambling was illegal in Hawaii. I know there are no casinos but is online OK?

The main demographics are probably the same with a few small changes. I'm glad that the wife doesn't read this thread too.

Online is probably the same as the mainland. Just it takes a tad longer for any cashouts. Yup no casinos.

Sorry if I missed this but do you have a fitness goal with the soda reduction? I had a goal thread here last year and it was awesome to keep me on track with my exercise. I dont have one now and my results and motivation are way lower. Thinking about reopening my old one that is now closed, is quite the mega-troll ****-show.

I'm trying to greatly reduce the soda intake to improve my health. I gained roughly 20ish pounds the past four years. Also, the few times I play "big" live tournaments it should help around 11pm to keep up with the young guns.

I cheat sometimes with Sprite, it happens. But Im a total Coke and Dr. Pepper addict and since I quit that chit in February my health has been so much better. I do miss rum and cokes a lot.

Seems like you play in solid BRM and tilt shouldnt be an issue?

Any chance of some photos of Waikiki? I used to love to go down to the Hilton Hawaii Village and hang in that area. There also was a killer bar called the Shorebird down the beach, is that still there?

I do show photos of Waikiki but I failed. There is still a resturant/bar at the Outrigger Reef. It's nice.

Sometimes I tilt b/c wife doesn't understand even though I'm +EV on the felt. I'm sortof like Phil H. great tournament player sucks at cash. Also, I had a problems when Bovada software and just sad I was playing to go to WSOP but can't go this year. My speciality tournament is run only at the WSOP at nice stakes.

That sucks as some Hawaii pics would have been epic . But I understand its a pain in the butt to put pics up here at times.

What is the problem with Bovada software? What is your specialty?

I fell off the no coke diet since Feb. 5th today. I wanted a rum and coke so bad as I hit a benchmark and said **** it and celebrated. Only problem is I now have a decent size bottle of rum and no reason to waste it .

I used to work for Frito Lay of Hawaii over in Aiea. When I first started working I walked onto the dock with a Coke in my hand and a boss pulled me aside and gave me the chewing of a lifetime as Frito Lay is owned by Pepsi. He told me I no longer drank Coke, I loled inside and just kept it away from work.

Sometimes, Bovada is unplayable with the software kicking you out when a STT, MTT or cash game running. My favorite game is PLO8 MTTs. I think it's one of the softest forms poker and suits my personality. I made a really deep bracelet run.

I love coke too. I feel it's more bitter and less sweet than pepsi. Maybe I am addicted to the chemicals and sugar.

Wow, I never had that experience with Bovada. I used to crush the LHE games over there, but played out of BRM at the 20/40, lol. Kinda glad Im not playing now, but look forward playing at the higher level again with a real roll. Not sure why I like LHE, as its so lol, but I find I can multi-table it much easier and not get as tilty as NL. Game is brutal swings at time if you are fishy like I can be.

I like to play plo but need to work on my game alot. Out by where I play they have a really nice PLO8 (that is high/low right?) but only cash.

I am 100% addicted to the chemicals and sugar, is a serious problem for me. I can mow down 64 ounce 711 cups all day, so glad Im managing that demon properly right now but the darkness is always around the corner to turn a 2 liter into a month binge and serious weight gain and health decay.

I like like limit cash live. It's kind of relaxing not worrying about a big decision for you entire stack. I heard it doesn't run but I had a great experience at Wynn 4/8 with a table of 6 rich women. Also, can't beat the 08 at the Orleans. Great cocktails there . If I do play cash it's mostly to relax don't want rough decisions.

I love the sodas but I was slowly starting to look like Homer Simpson not a great look.

I'm just curious where is that PLO8 (hi/low) game?

Sent PM, keeping my locale on the low-down.

I agree limit can be relaxing and when u run-good its a can be fun. Also right not having to worry about get stacked is great. Id like to get better at both the online and live game and try a WSOP LHE tourney down the road, have u played one of those?

Have u read Bob_124 blog which focuses on poker books and his playing out of New Orleans? Good stuff..

I played a WSOP limit tournament by accident but it was HORSE. Not sure if this is a great piece of advice for LHE. I'm told to play tighter because it's harder to stack someone, try not to play baby pairs or lower suited connectors, Ben Wu (I think that's a bracelet winner in a limit event) suggests not to be super aggressive when relatively short stack.

I read a bit of Bob's blog. I would love to play the circuit in NO. It's a great city but it's too close to the WSOP. It's hard to get vacations close together.

I'm toying with playing a WPT deepstack and vacationing a few days in Seattle.
