Well here it goes my poker goals thread since looks like Viggo taking a break.
-Getting fired from my 4th job in three years.
-I have problems with authority
-I love poker
-I need to be my own boss. Poker is the quickest way to accomplish this goal
Poker for me has almost nothing to do with the cards. Its has to do with knowing myself.
This will be part of my goals. Achieving a level of peace where I am impervious to nothing.
Take time to meditate specially on nice day like today. I will close my eyes and meditate in my car for 5 minutes.
This is all silly nonsense you say. You need to know to how bet under the gun. You need to know how to mentally prepare for battle. Everyday. Meditation has to be part of my armament everyday.

This includes your living arrangement. There is no way you can play your best if you have **** and clutter all around you. I have a habit of being a pig. No more. Going to unclutter my mind and my living quarters.
I'm in boot camp. I'm getting ready like a Navy Seal in basic training. Why would I play when I am not prepared yet? I want to play. That is not wise. This segways into the next virtue- Discipline
Delay immediate self gratification in order to achieve a better long term more meaningful and satisfying result that will bring personal and spiritual fulfillment
Translation: No more degening.

As a soon to be professional poker player, I have to tremendously work on personal relationships. This will involve creating a schedule to socialize with friends and family. Also, reminders about important events such as birthdays and holidays. The poker world can be extremely lonesome specially on downswing. Cultivating strong relationships keeps life in perspective. This will be one of my top goals.
That's where I want to live and play poker. I have traveled all over the world and I believe Vegas is the most beautiful. Are you crazy? No. It has perfect blend of all cultures, all demographics, all races in a dream facad where the sky blue and sunny 360 days of the year all the backdrop of an isolated desert in time.
I bought $1.60 nachos and cheese at Taco Bell. I have some left over Uncle Ben's Spanish rice for dinner. One of my goals to watch every penny like it was my last and be resourceful as hell. No more splurging or "eating sushi with my bras" like Limon used to say.

Reason: Although eating sushi with my bras would be eating at the bar by myself talking DC or TBC on social media or 2 plus 2
When I live in Vegas, my only problem is Video Poker. I don't like blackjack, don't know how to play craps. Non gambling leaks- I would never hire a postitute (too paranoid). I don't do drugs. I do love the strip clubs. I quit that about 8 years ago tho. I drink but I am not an alcoholic. I do think it is a waste of money and effects your judgement even with 1 drink. I would like to eliminate that 100 percent.
I have to mantain a level of physical fitness for those long enduring sessions. I really have not had a problem with this all my life. I do the montain biking, hiking sports and all that. My weakness is the junk food and sodas. I have to work on that.
