Just tied my worst night ever in term of $ loss. Which is not even four digits. -$900. I really am a variance virgin. This happened near the beginning of the night.
Villain (EP): 30s Asian, loose passive fish who limps way more than he raises but sometimes splashes around; raised Q9cc, called a squeeze then 3 bet shoved on a QJxss flop for like $500 (covers hero)
Hero (MP): mid 20s Asian, TAG image ($800)
Villain opens $15. Hero makes it $50 with K

. Villain 4 bets to $120. Hero calls.

Villain bets $160. Hero calls.

Couldn't figure out if he had aces or was overplaying queens. Also I had the king high flush draw which is good half the time if he has aces. With the Q9s hand in mind I just couldn't fold in case he was overplaying queens or bluffing with A
. On the other hand 4 betting ranges from passive villains tend to be nutted. It was a close decision but I opted to call.
Despite having position on this guy and also a drunk whale, the night got worse. Made a few ill timed bluffs. Also missed a potential bluff spot.

Hope to turn things around and leave Vegas on a high note and not a downswing. Leaving for LA on Monday.
