So I had a part 1 but I didn't update it much. Drove from NY to Canada on 01/15/2015 to start my live grind. I also met a girl on the internet I've been talking to for the past 4 months everyday, she lives in Montreal, I really like her. Met with my friend who already lived in Canada and got an apartment in Montreal. I was lazy with creating this thread but tonight is the night. Ask any questions, I love the interaction.

Currently 1-2 until 2 of my last checks clear, then 2-5. The casino is SOFT , Playground is tougher I guess. Playing full time. Montreal is a lot cheaper then Long Island.

Is the rake beatable there?? Ive heard some crazy stories about the rake in Canada.I had thought about venturing there for a few months to grind cash games but rake stories threw me off

It's higher then anywhere I've ever played and the "comps" at the Casino are a JOKE! But playground gives free food and drink so that definitely helps with the rake. Games are also softer IMO compared to Foxwoods/Borgata/Parx etc where I normally played. Plus I got a 2 bedroom apartment downtown Montreal for $675 month everything included minus internet. 8 miles from casino

Busted the tourney. Chip AVG was 26.2k, I had 14,400. Playing rather tight. Blinds 200-400. OTB folded to me with 99, raise to 2k BB(had like 22k) raises to 5k. BB was a younger AGGRO kid. I went all in and he tanked. He ended up calling with Ac10c. Rivered the A, GG me....
