Well we got up to 14 tonight. Good stuff. Only problem was bovada crashing 3 times during the stream haha. Maybe a RAM issue.

Do you think you will stream tonight? I'd like to check it out.

Wish I could watch the stream, but I live in Shanghai, China. So yeah, there's like a 13 hour time difference.

It kinda sucks for Bovada because "Sunday" and am basically playing on Saturday nights.

I probably will. If I do it will most likely be around the same time 10 or 10:30 CST.

Ah I see. Saturday nights are one of the best days/times to play so that's fortunate for you at least. I tend to avoid playing during the day (at least during the week) b/c the players are mainly regs/nits.

I finished down about $400 last night. I was up about $150 near the end of the session and then this one guy caught three hands in a row against me.

Here's one hand from earlier in the session where even though I made a hand on the turn I continued to represent a bigger hand to fold out better made hands. This also touches on capped vs. non-capped ranges:

P1(CO) $157.20 - VP:57 PFR:57 AF:3.0 W:0| STL:50| 3B:0| CB:100| N:26.60 Hands:7
P2(BTN) $195 - VP:29 PFR:0 AF: W:0| STL:|100 3B:0|100 CB:|100 N:-10 Hands:7
P3(SB) $198 - VP:0 PFR:0 AF: W: STL: 3B:0| CB: N:-3 Hands:2
Me(BB) $193 - VP:29 PFR:14 AF:Inf. W:0| STL:0|0 3B:25| CB:100|100 N:47 Hands:7
P5(UTG) $496.45 - VP:29 PFR:29 AF:2.0 W:0| STL:0| 3B:0|0 CB:100|0 N:-27.20 Hands:7
P6(MP) $155.53 - VP:71 PFR:0 AF:1.0 W:0| STL:0| 3B:0|100 CB:|50 N:-41 Hands:7

Pre Flop: Me(BB) with [3d,6d]
P5(UTG) raises 4, P6(MP) calls 4, P1(CO) folds, P2(BTN) calls 4, P3(SB) folds, Me(BB) raises 18, P5(UTG) calls 16, P6(MP) folds, P2(BTN) folds

Flop: (2c,Kd,Ah) (2 players)
Me(BB) bets 28, P5(LP) calls 28

Turn: 6s (2 players)
Me(BB) bets 68, P5(LP) folds

Final:
Returns 68 to Me(BB)
Me(BB) wins 102

Another tough spot from a hand during the stream. I had just seen this guy play bottom pair crazy and lose so I thought there was a chance he might be steaming and/or crazy. But he happened to wake up with Aces, lol. It was a perfect board for him to go for full value as well.

P1(SB) $276.63 - VP:100 PFR:67 AF:8.0 W:100|67 STL:|0 3B:50| CB:100|0 N:153.26 Hands:3

Me(UTG) $438.60 - VP:44 PFR:41 AF:1.3 W:33|33 STL:89|100 3B:0|50 CB:80|50 N:-120.07 Hands:27
P5(CO) $148 - VP:21 PFR:7 AF:0.5 W:75|67 STL:33|75 3B:0|0 CB:100|0 N:36.89 Hands:14
P6(BTN) $249.80 - VP:44 PFR:22 AF:Inf. W:10|100 STL:50|29 3B:14|0 CB:50|67 N:49.80 Hands:27

Here's a hand I misplayed on the river during the stream. I think I should have made a value/blocking bet rather than checking. I think my thought process at the time was to check call possibly but when he bet so large it just felt like a big hand (i.e. trips or a boat). I think the blocking bet would have given me the info I needed if raised from a bigger hand and possibly gotten some value from weaker made hands like JJ or 1010.

For some reason HI didn't import the HUD stats but I remember him being 33/0 over the course of about 20 hands.

P1(BTN) $183.30 -
Me(SB) $248.95 -
P3(BB) $200 -
P4(UTG) $217.35 -
P5(MP) $200 -
P6(CO) $282.54 -

Pre Flop: Me(SB) with [Kd,Kh]
P4(UTG) folds, P5(MP) folds, P6(CO) calls 2, P1(BTN) folds, Me(SB) raises 8, P3(BB) calls 7, P6(CO) calls 7

Flop: (Qs,4h,Qd) (3 players)
Me(SB) bets 15, P3(BB) calls 15, P6(LP) calls 15

Turn: 8s (3 players)
Me(SB) checks, P3(BB) checks, P6(LP) bets 20, Me(SB) raises 40, P3(BB) folds, P6(LP) calls 20

River: (9d)
Me(SB) checks, P6(LP) bets 100, Me(SB) folds

Final:
Returns 100 to P6(LP)

Jinxed myself. Bovada started crashing after an hour. I finished up $500 during the stream though. Definitely was running good and hitting some hands.

Hey Urban, what's ur thought process when the villain raised u on the flop? No real draws and the board was so dry. Did you just figure that if he had a set he would raise u on the turn? Even with a back door straight n flush draw is this raise on the flop a fold to certain players? I'm guessing the 2 on the river made it a lot easy to call the river bet because it's less likely for him to have a sets and you actually chop most Ax hands?

I caught some of ur twitch tonight and I like the check raise u did with that gut shot! Nice!!!

Finished up a total of $500 last night. Ran great to start then ran into a few coolers in a row. Battled back and finished strong.

Yeah that was my thinking for the most part. Players tend to go for the check raise w a set more on the turn than on the flop when it is dry like that. And once the board paired on the river it makes it even less likely that he flopped a set. So combining those two factors without having any history on him I felt I had to make the call. It was close though.

I plan on taking and posting more house photos once we have the house straightened up. That happens once every fortnight when the maid comes. So yeah we basically clean up for the maid. Makes sense right?

Not streaming tonight and probably not for the rest of the weekend b/c we're about to go on a weekend family vacation.

Was just going to play a short session b/c i'm tired and didn't want to drink coffee like I normally do b/c we're about to leave for vacation tomorrow. But I ended up having a cooler early in the session that I tried to play through but honestly was too tired to deal with and it impacted my play more than it normally does. I ended up picking some bad spots to bluff (I can't even recall my thought process in picking a couple of them) and another horrific hero call in battle of the blinds in which I literally beat nothing but a stone cold bluff.

I got coolered for $200 and decided to donate another $500 for a total losing session of $700.

"Don't play tired" is a lesson I seem to keep wanting to learn and relearn :0

Had another $700 down session the next night while on vacation. Then, battled back the next few sessions to where I'm only down $400 from my peak.
