wtf, this is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard of. Almost as bad as that bandichime guy who thought he was going to make it rich from his spreadsheets.
How experienced are you in poker? You honestly think that if you jump straight into "major online tourneys" you are going to be a winning player? Even with a good coach (who will probably charge you quite a lot) it could take years to become a good winning player in the big online tourneys. Why do people treat poker differently to any other profession? Let me tell you that its no different, its probably harder than a lot of professions. A lot of the players who you will be playing with in those tourneys will be guys who have played thousands, maybe tens of thousands of tourneys.
So let me get this straight, this is your plan right...
Go to college for 4 years without focusing at all on poker. After that 4 years is over start playing in some of the toughest online tourneys and just suddenly be a pro? Do you not realize that most people who play every single day and study every single day never actually become pro? That's because poker is HARD, very HARD. Trust when when I say this - your plan will not work, I am 100% sure of this.
Play poker in your spare time. Study. Play at stakes that you can afford and try to improve, SLOWLY moving up in stakes. That's how it works, you cant just save up some money and jump in at the deep end. If you are going to do this then be sure to have a very large bank roll, so that when you realize that this is not going to work (which it definitely wont), you can quit without too much financial damage.
