Long time lurker/losing player. Goal is to post two hands at the end of every day I manage to play on with my thoughts/questions, and hopefully get some interesting feedback.

LAST TIME I ever slowplay, my problem is I never seem to get action from regs (Im the regfish) when I flop decent... But I need to be honest with myself, no trying to outplay them.

If you're betting OTT your sizing is a big mistake

Yeah, my stupid thought was, If I make it too big, he will fold...Against another opponent I would have made it 2.90/3

I am guessing that you checked on the flop to allow villain a continuation bet. The turn bet was too small, the size of the bet depends on what you put villain on. Now with villain three betting pre, my without stats assumption would be a big ace or a PP. Given there was no continuation bet, a big ace is kinda ruled out then betting on the turn for a call from a PP lower pair would be difficult. So it should have been another check to get villain to bet.

The second scenario would be you did put him on a flush draw, the bet you made on the turn did not charge the villain. Ballpark %, to hit flush with river card remaining 20% (4:1). Villain required to call 1.3 to win 5.2, (4:1) you pretty much gave him the odds to call. He may not have drawn out, but the odds were right for him to call, so if its correct from his side the mistake is on yours

The comment about worried about betting too much and villain will fold will get you in trouble like the above hand. Villain folding is not a problem, as you cannot expect a big pot all the time.

Think I missed some value, but did not like that turn.

Really? Considering his stats, I Would say 2nd hand was the incorrect one...

Managed to win a bit back after a big hand against 2 players, not sure if I will be able to log in some more hands after a dinner tonight.

Frustrating today, games were so good! Regs stacked off the fish and I got stacked by fish and shortstacks. Hopefully May starts up nicely, it hasnt been a very nice come back to the tables so far. Down 7 buy ins.
