My thread and BRC is simple.
I am a live player and I bet I have played 4000 hours of poker a year over the last 15 years in ****hole cardrooms. I am not a winning player, I borrow from everyone and don't play when I am broke, every one knows me. I have been winning in the last few years, this is because I no longer play fixed limit and rake my life away, I drive a ton and only play 1 or 2 hours a week at PLO. Having never posted on 2+2, never tracked my losses and never having a challenge I figure I will try.

The PLO games here are super huge and everyone is best buddies, although I won 3k last night I am pretty sure that I might not win this challenge. They all buy on for 2,000 four or five times before they drag a pot, they all live with each other and they all have played together for ever and are online players as well. I suppose that goes without saying because the games are getting so tough everywhere.

I bet in the greater Seattle area there were 120 tables going every day of the week, I bet now ten years later there are only 40 tables going every day of the week.

So I plan on putting 10,000$ in my safe deposit box and that is 20 short stack buy-ins. I am going to study, study and study. I have never used a HUD, I have never used a bank roll calculator and I never have really separated my money from my slot playing money and my girlfriends money (she is total degen like me and wins huge at slots occasionally and supports my poker).

So almost all my play will be at tulalip in Washington, at the River Rock in BC, and at the Edgewater in BC, this is because they have 1-2 plo where tulalip only has 5-5 with a suggested 10 dollar straddle (almost always 4 players to make things even harder). Wish me luck and I will only post after I play. It is so important to me to win this challenge, I have spent so many years playing poker and I can't honestly tell you I could take it to this level. If I can't take this pursuit up to the next level I should give up on it completely I think. If I do start wining I will go to Nor Cal, then So Cal and then Vegas in my car next month and post my travels as well.

I will have my whole BR by next week fully devoted to my challenge. I will be starting with 10,000$ and I will almost entirely play 1-2 NL and only if the big games are awesome will I jump in. I am a recreational fish more than a seasoned winner. Keeping my play serious and playing position raises is only a concept at this point. Last time I played in Vancouver the same Asian woman beat me with 2 pair on the flop all three hands I lost. She would see any flop with atc then I would stack off on very small bets all the way too the river. The third time I knew I was draling dead against my Ace low kicker too two pair, I called all three streets all the same clinging to the hope I was wrong.

I have a system thats worked pretty well. It is be at plo when it starts, then check on it at 4am or later. I CAN NOT BEAT THE REGS.

I tried to play but no game this week. I only have one day I could play PLO until I get more time off. I'm working full time remodeling the space needle. No I'm serious.

See the scaffold we built. We have also demo'd out the whole interior. The long hours is how I can make this bankroll challenge in the first place.

I went before work to the game, and there were 2 plo tables, this is only on thursdays. 5-5 plus 5-10 with a huge list. I I got on short the 5-10 list and waited but I had to go to work. Of course right after work I went back up there because I called and the game was still going. It was 3 handed and one person had all 20k in front of him all in $25 dollar chips. I did not play, I ate breakfast and I came home. It was really two handed the whole time anyways. I have been reading all week and if I get tomorrow off I will go over the border and play 2-2. I only have one shot at my under rolled challenge, so heads up at 5-10 in a game I don't have 100 hours in at full ring would be a minor mistake.

haven't slept but in my car since friday morning. bought in for 500 at tulalio and cashed 1850$ us. So I guess the nights ok. BR is now 11350$

I have thought and thought about itm I am quiting my week old challenge with one session. I can not complete it with tulalip alone. Impossible for now. I am going to remodel my house.

In 3-6 holdem in reno. Where I belong.
