Hey, I thought it might be fun to do one of these. My name is Luis, i'm 19 from the UK but living in europe and I play poker fulltime. I started in April when lockdown first happened and have grinded from 2nlz to 100nlz. My goal of 2021 is to make 150k from online poker. I'll talk about how im finding the games and post results but I wont post hands because I think its dumb and boring. Maybe at the end of 2021 ill talk about why I started playing online poker and why I want to make 1 million by 21 etc. but for now I'll keep it brief.

In dec 2020 I only managed to play 60k hands which is pretty pathetic, but I was very busy so I'll let myself off for that one. Going forward I'm aiming for 200k+ hands a month, with the exception of this one because I haven't been able to grind yet.

One thing that definitely wont make you 1mill$ is playing 200k hands a month.

I guess you could say OP is trying to be... the next online millionaire.

I once grinded 198k hands in a month and that was crazy.
This was 10 hours a day playing ~10 tables.
If you do it, do it on Party for rakeback. I would not recommend it, but I think when you're young and crazy you should absolutely challenge yourself.
Problem is the Zoom pools just wont be great all day long. You moved up quickly through the stakes. Every hour spent studying and reviewing your game benefits your bottom line.
I think 100+ stop massing, work on your game. If you wish to grind such massive volume, you can do 50 & 100 to build a steady bankroll. But I'd rather work on quality of your game so you can start shotting 200. If you hit tough stretch, doing CFP would be great since you're very motivated and can learn a lot. Good luck!

Hey, early update because I want to make this an end of month thing. These results are from about 2.5 weeks of playing. I didn't play much volume at all because I had to take 3-4 days off to take care of my new kitten Klaus (0 regrets).




I played for a few days on gg and am up about 2k on there

I was going to finish up a rb challenge on stars, but they banned me. I did 80% of the progress bar for 800$ rb, and they wanted some documents before I could continue playing. I had 10 days left and the support promised me it'd take 2 days to get verified. Well, 6 days later I complained saying there's a good chance I will lose 600$ which is like a months worth of rent just burnt because they lied, and now they think im a problem gambler

So the rest of the volume is on party, at 100ff and 50ff.


So im up about 7~8k since my last post which im happy with, but I think I could be playing better. I think that next time I post i'll be winning pre rb lb. And btw if there are any non-party regs lurking can you come hop in 100ff pool with me so it's not 3 handed during the hours I grind, pool is 99% regs anyways so it'd make me v happy.

Next month I'll try and get 450k hands in, i'm not sure if I want to battle for 1st lb everyday though, most likely i'll just go for top 3 so I can show up everyday, i think it's higher ev in the long run. pce guys

Hey its time for my monthly update, i'll probably be making these more often than monthly going forward. I'm still not sure if I regret making a 2+2 thread since its just a negative freeroll mostly, but whatever.

The first 2 weeks of februrary were unproductive for me. I maybe played 6 hours of poker on party, probably brokeven, I didn't bother checking. I just had zero motivation to grind and was completely burnt out from lb grinding. I decided to make some pretty big changes in my approach. Going forward I'm probably just going to be bumhunting instead of rb grinding, I think it fits my goals with poker way more than just grinding max hourly. The dream for me would be to make it to 1knl and get unbanned on stars so I can just play the games there with low effective rake.

Anyways, I made like 4.6kusd playing mostly 100nl, but some 200nl as well. I moved sites from party to anywhere that I thought games were good.

So I ran at a smooth 18evbb/100, I'm not really sure how sustainable that is but I guess we'll see. I usually hate goals but for march I'm going to try and play 75000 hands. I've been very lazy with volume recently, not so much with studying, I've been doing a lot of that, but my hours played just isn't a good amount this month. Hopefully I will be able to play more now that I'm not burnt out from LB grinding anyways. I'm also considering streaming my games, I don't think I'm playing a very exploitable strategy as my approach is always theory oriented so it shouldn't affect my winrate, and maybe streaming will bring me some interesting opportunities. Anyways that's it for now, maybe i'll update sooner than end of month, peace
