Thanks for the support man! The hand was posted mostly because of entertainment value. You guys could be right that the call isn't profitable. It almost never is.

really? I played him quite a bit and by no means did I think he was bad, but never thought of him as top tier. He is very solid though, mb that's enough to beat up to 1/2 (unless you're me and you can't win a single hand vs recs over 200k sample :P)

He isn't top 3 or 4, but definitely one of the better regs at 200 imo. Who would you guys say that are better than him?

I'm assuming you are already rolled and am curious of how you know it's time for a shot.

Looks like you're off to a good start. Good to see
Unfortunately not rolled for it, but when I see that the pool is weak I just jump in and make the promise to myself that I can lose x amount of buyins before I quit. Untill now I didn't break that promise. Hope I can continue with that and not be a degen.

So won't be playing today and tomorrow, because I'm on a mini holiday. Will probably update thread again saturday, or sunday.

I haven't played 200 that much lately just 500+ so not sure but Erik1337 seems to grind it alot and ive battled him lot and he seems decent, so him atleast. But i always thought checkrais3r plays a bit weak (hes a RIO coach btw).

Edit: Oh and that guy spena1993 or whatever seems good for 200 aswell.

Nah, pretty much snap quit when stars made the changes, found a new venture and the outlook for HUNL/poker wasn't looking great, so tapped out. I'll be dammed if I dont miss the game though.

Hi guys,

Last week didn't play that much, since I wasn't at home for a few days. Only got in 16 or 17 hours. Will try to play/study 45 hours at least this week.

Just compared him to the average regular at 200 and he's definitely one of the better regs imo. I agree that the guys you mentioned are probably better. I would add solvepoker to that list too.

Hi guys,

Haven't been playing as much as I wanted last couple of days. Untill next monday I will need to get in 40 hours of poker and study.

This monday I will go on a holiday to Morocco for a week with Erik1337 and some other good friends of mine. After that I will go to Portugal for 2 weeks with my girlfriend. Which means that I can't get much volume in next month.

Month is going pretty well. Up around 5k with rakeback, so can't complain. It would be nice if I can continue this run and play 500 and 1k in a few months!

Graph:

Also thinking about taking my action somewhere else, since the rakeback changes at stars will mean that action will get worse. If anyone can let me know where there is still some hu action, that'd be great. You can let me know in a PM, if you don't want everybody to know.

glgl at the tables!

Can you give us any of your thoughts on that KJ call? Do you think that this is a profitable call longterm?

The reason i asked is, because you block so many of his bluffing range like J9, J8, 64 gets there

Sup ladies,

It has been a pretty swongy month, but eventually I managed to book a nice win: 4.9k, including rakeback.

Graph:

I feel like my game drastically improved last two months. This is because I've studied over a hundred hours. I feel much more comfortable in most spots, which in turn also helps with my anxiety when playing. Upcoming month I won't be able to play much, since I'll be away for 3 of the 4 weeks, so probably won't post much.

Some fun hands:

Hi mate good thread, just seen the link to it on Erik's one. Thank you for the compliments about my game.

I identify quite a lot with your initial description about yourself. Something that may help you to deal with anxiety is to try to see graph only once a week/month. Quite easy to do and very recommended.

I find the 45s call 4b interesting because you block a common 4b bluff of A5 and if they do have that you're dominated.

Hello fellas,

I've been away for two months, but now I'm back! Got in 47 hours of study/poker this week.

Results this week:

Still playing at Stars exclusively, because the alternatives are pretty wack. Really unhappy about the rakeback changes, but what can we do? Also only playing 100 right now, because I spended way to much this summer and didn't play at all.

Also starting with uni again this week. In the past I ****ed up big time, because I was to busy with poker. This year everything is going to change though! The goal is to get 50 hours a week in, evenly spread between poker and uni.

Wish me luck!

Hi guys!

Have reached my goal of studying for uni and playing/studying poker for 46 hours the first week. Second week of september I only got in like 36 hours, but this week I'm on track again!

At the tables it's going pretty well for me, as you can see in these graphs:

100 and 200zoom since start of thread:

This month:

Goals for the foreseeable future are to get to 500z and start playing at other sites too. I've seen guys still crush at other sites for good money.

Hey guys,

I'm back! Last month I was really busy with uni, so didn't play at all, but in December I'm back for the grind. Main goal this month is to play 30k hands minimum. (not a lot, but I've never put in a lot of hands).

Month started a bit rough, running really bad and made some questionable plays aswell. I'm sure I'll turn it around though, because in my absence people didn't really get much better.

nice to see you back, glgl

btw I gotta say that it is interesting to see how little variance is in your graph, I often have 20+ bis swings in a session (both ways) and I just assumed it is the same for other regs, but having 16bb/100 wr apparently makes the variance more managable

Thanks man! How's the 50z grinding going for you?

I've always had a style that's a bit lower variance as far as I can remember. Untill today, that is. Sigh

Couldn't catch any anything today and definitely made a few spewy plays against some people that don't like to get bluffed in any spot.
