(I)

Hi Everyone! My name is Mike & I am 23 years old. I am a longtime PGC lurker. I have read through and followed many fun poker journies and wanted to share with you my fun and (little) different one.

I have currently played poker in ~20 different casinos. In the next 6 months, I want to try and play in 10 new places (and win some money). I want to share the good, the bad, and most definitely the fun. We'll have some laughs, some hand histories, and plenty of stories & pictures. This PGC will not be about the $$ won or lost, but my hope is that we can learn together.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:
20% 5/10+
79% 2/5 (highest game that runs in my home casino)
1% 1/2 (when waiting for games)

(II)

I have a full time job. I am a true weekend warrior. I play poker for fun, but I am fortunate enough to be a winning player. I have put in more study hours than playing hours - and I feel like this should be the case for anyone who is aiming to make a profit in poker. For those who are thinking "here is another 23 year old who will go busto" - I won't. I plan to play another ~500 hours this year and hopefully meet some new people along the way in new places. My goal is to bring a new flavor to the PGC forums. Together we will travel the U.S. and have some fun.

(III)

I started playing online poker when I was 12 years old. I deposited $25 on Pokerstars (when it was legal still) and never deposited again. Until I turned 21 I played and beat all of the micro stakes on various sites up to .1/.25.

When I turned 21 I transitioned to live poker. I did not start out a winner. Plays that work online do not translate into live poker (at exponentially bigger stakes) I took my losses and learned until I was beating the games. This year, I am up XXXXX from live poker. (sick brag) However, as I mentioned, I will not be updating the $$$ column (for good or for bad)

You absolutely need to go to the Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ. I am shocked you were in AC and didn't go there. Personally, its my favorite poker room in the northeast, but also a beautiful poker room and casino, and the best tournaments around.

Good luck!

Thanks! I think it's pretty hilarious as well. At the time I was in AC I did not have a car and was staying at Bally's/Harrah's and have no idea how to get around AC (what a noob) I will certainly be there this year though.

Updates to come tomorrow! Hitting MDL & MGMNH this weekend

Maryland Live! TR

It's Friday, it's hot as balls and I depart at 1:00 with my partner in crime & photographer Vanessa. The 4 hour drive ends up taking 6 because of the lovely NY traffic. We arrive at 7:00 and it's time to gamble!

I sit down and immediately I love my table. No hoodies and no headphones on anyone (including me). Looks like I'm not moving from this seat for awhile.

We buy in for 1000 and my night immediately gets off to a good start when I limp 56 in LP and so does the SB. The BB who is a young asian raises to 25 over two limpers and we both call.

The flop comes 7 7 9 and he checks to me. I decide to try and take a stab here and bet 30. The SB folds and now the BB thinks for a bit and calls. The turn is one of the best cards for me as the 4 rolls over. He checks to me again and I continue the pressure by wagering 110. Villain thinks for about a minute and tosses in the 110. It looks to me like he has TT or JJ. I doubt a triple barrel bluff will work here but we don't have to as the 3 rolls off. We do a little internal dance as he checks again and we bet 205. He thinks for about a minute again and decides to call. We ship the monies and are running good immediately.

The next hand of note we raise AA to 20 in the CO and a loose younger black guy playing 75/15 calls on the BTN. We've played numerous small pots together and he's 3/3 as I haven't made a pair against him yet. An orbit ago I thought I had a good spot to bluff given the action and he called me on the river with 3rd pair. Oops - not trying that one again.

We see a flop of 5 8 7 and cbet 25. He quickly calls and we see a A turn. I once again bet 65 and he calls fairly quickly. The river is the 5 and I bet 250 into 220 targeting a flush. He thinks for 30 seconds and calls and I beat j9

Nothing interesting happens for awhile until I get into a weird spot. Same Asian villain from hand one raises to 30 from the BB and I limp call A8 from MP because I'm a recreational player and I can. We go heads up to a 6 4 2 flop. Pretty much the best thing I can hope for. He bets 35 and I quickly call. The turn is the 9 and he bets 75. I think about it for an it and I'm not sure I'll get paid off if I hit so I decide to just fold. I remember why you just fold A8 pre.

The final hand of note is against the same villain from hand 2 and a few other recreationals. MP raises to 15 from MP. I call in the CO with KTo and so does the BTN who was the villain playing 75/15 from hand 2 as well as the BB.

The flop is T 5 3 it checks to me. I bet 40 into 60 and only the BTN calls. Another tango with this dude. The turn is the 8 and I bet 85. V quickly calls and we see a 9 river. I'm not sure what hands I get value from but I have a hand good enough to call if he bets river. He ends up betting 100 into 310 so I only need to be good here about 20 percent of the time. I call and MHIG. V is saying something about how I shouldn't call there. I rack up after about 5 hours of play. It's time to get something to eat hit Dave and Busters before they close.

I meet up with Vanessa and we get some noodles from this place with a sick name. Already forgot it though. The food was a solid 8.8 and it's time to game hard.

Dave and Busters is a good time as I lose in every game to Vanessa, even the ones we're on the same team. (Not sure how that's possible) overall it was a good day. We made some money, played some games, ate some food and Maryland Live is a dope place and we head to the hotel. I'll leave you guys with some last pics. Off to MGMNH today

We arrive at the beautiful MGM NH at 11:30.

I put my name on the list for 5/T and sit down at a 2/5 table. MGM has a promotion going on where every hour a table is drawn and everything receives $500. Not even 5 hands are played and our table is called as the lucky table. Sweet. This is going to be a good day. I proceed to lose some money until the 5/10 must move is called.

I only play one hand of note in the 5/10 before it breaks. 4 handed I defend BvB with T8. The flop is the interesting JJ3. The SB continues for 35 and I call. The turn is the Q bringing in the gutterball for me as well. The SB bets 110, I call and we see a river. He checks the 3 to me and I bluff 215. He quickly calls and AQo is good.

us not running up stacks

The game breaks so I'm back on the 2/5 list. A new game is started. we play a few rounds until this hand comes up. I raise to 20 Utg with A King and a young Asian 3 bets me to 65 from MP. Everyone folds and I flat. The flop comes 883r and it goes check check. The turn is the As. I check and he fires 70. I call. The river is the Td. I check hoping he fires the river and he does for 225. I snap call and lose to ATo. Nice 3 bet I guess.

Time to take a nice long break, get some food and come back rejuvenated. This promotion has wait lists all out of whack so I sit down at the 1/2 5 card PLO. I play for a couple of hours and play one hand of note.

I raise on the BTN to 20 with A Q Qxx. The SB and limper call. Honestly I have enough trouble with two cards but give me 5..... oh man. Luckily the cards love me and we see a flop of Q 6 4. The two players check to me and I pot for 60. The SB calls with 370 behind. The turn is the lovely 9. He checks to me again and I fire 170 and he calls leaving him with about 200 behind. The river rolls off the 9 and we are loving life. He checks and I wager the final 200 chips and he sigh calls. We win some money.

Somewhat running up stacks in PLO

After the PLO session it was time to hit the mall right across the street with Vanessa. It's still hot as balls outside at 8pm so we walk around for an it until it closes and hang out for a bit. Before we head home I play one more session of 2/5 where we have just dropped heaps today. I am unable to make a pair for about two hours and am stuck some more until I raise to 25 in the HJ with J T. The CO who is playing 90/20 calls and the BTN 3b to 50. This should get interesting as we both call. We see a K97 flop. Two checks to the 3 bettor who makes it 50 which seems weak to me. I decide to flat here as we can make a hand and his range consists of almost no flushes so we can try to take it away later on. The HJ folds. The turn is the 4 and I check and as I expected he checks back. The turn is the brickest of all bricks the 3 and I lead 175 into 250. "175? He says as he picks up chips. Well. This didn't work out. As I'm saying this in my head he puts the chips down and folds. Phew.

Right before I'm about to call it quits for a night there was an interesting scenario where someone was all in on the river, and another player throws in one chip and says nothing. After dealer tells all in player to flip his cards and he does, the caller claims he did not say call. First floor comes over and says one chip is not a call. ????? . 10 minutes later a higher up comes and says one chip call is a call. Okay - someone's gotta get this straight though. In the end the angle shooter loses so our prayers are answered. It's time to go to the hotel.

Some WTF combination - fried chicken and donuts

MGM Part II

Back at it for another day of gamble at MGM. The room is awesome and the atmosphere is great. The hot seat promotion was running once again today, but somehow we didn't win it again. Luckily we were able to run it up today.

Got into a few interesting hands with the young Asian player from the AK hand from day one. He has 3 bet me twice this session in 20 minutes and he does it a 3rd time making it 75 after I open KQo from MP to 25. A gambly recreational (who ended up running a stack from 500 -> 2500 -> 0) flats and I call as well closing the action. We are 1k effective. The flop comes A J 4 and it checks through. The turn is the T completing the rainbow and I lead for 150. Villain from yesterday calls and recreational folds. The river is a blank and I bet 325. V quickly calls and we take the pot.

I decided I wasn't going to have any of this 3 betting anymore and next orbit when he 3 bet ton 75 again I call oop with J T. The flop comes 7 8 9 and we flop a straight. But the hand seems far from over. I check and he continues for 80. We call and we see a 4 turn. The turn goes check check and we see the T on the river. I check to him and he quickly bets 200. On one of the more interesting runouts that could have happened I decide his range is wide enough for me to call here. He fast rolls black AQ which scares me for a second but we are good.

Afterwards we head to the Asian place called ginger. The food was amazing and once again it was a good day and we actually made some money.

Sands & Hollywood Penn

For the final day of the trip we decided to hit Hershey Park in PA. It was my first time going in 10 years and we had a blast.

Stopped very quickly at Hollywood Penn to pick up a chip for the collection. Wasn't interested in staying as there was only one 2/5 game with a few names on the list. We head for Sands.

I get to the front desk and learn that the max has been upped to 1k from 800 for 2/5. I've been abolsutely loving these deeper games which I'm not used to at home and we sit down for a session.

We get off to a good start after flopping a straight until we are faced with an interesting spot in the BB. 3 limpers and it gets checked to me in the BB with 9 3. I check and we see a K38 flop. the flop checks around and the turn comes the 3 I check intending to raise and get the opportunity to do so when a recreational middle ages asian who limped in the CO makes it 20. We raise to 75 and only he calls. The river is the 5 which is what I think is music to my ears and I make it 135. He thinks for a bit and makes it 300. We decide to fold in this spot but I'm still unsure of it as I type it now.

The next blow to us comes when we raise AT in MP over one limper and get 3 callers in the field and the limper as well. The flop comes K Q 2 and it gets chacked around. The turn is the 7 and it miraculously gets checked around again. The river is the j which makes our straight. I decide to lead for 75 into 125 and get minraised by a middle aged Indian guy and I decide to call getting 3.5 to 1, but our hand was no good to 9 6

Overall I had an amazing weekend with a lot of fun. We ended up making some money which is always a nice bonus. It will be back to Mohegan Sun for me for this weekend. Expect an update from me on Saturday or Sunday.

Back Home:

Back home this weekend after the fun roadtrip last weekend. But it felt like I never left vacation. I was back home but played in games with virtually all unknowns for the first time in forever at Mohegan Sun. Needless to say, the games were great.

Our session got off to a pretty rocky start when we decide to 3bet one of the few regulars we recognize. She raises to 25 in the CO and the button flats. My read on her after a few times of playing is that she is uncomfortable when it comes to 3bets and she has just taken down the last pot and she will have a player left behind her to act, maybe she'll be okay to let this one go. Also, the BTN has been calling raises way too often. I make it 105 with KTo in the SB. Unfortunately, she wakes up with a big hand and makes it 305 and we fold. (Her 4b range is AA).

Later on in the session at the main table, we face a raise from the CO and a call OTB holding JJ in the SB. the BB calls as well and we take it 4 way to the flop. We see 5 5 2 and I check. the BB now bets out 100 and it folds to me. I am concerned but not willing to let the hand go just yet, so I call. the turn is the T and I check again. To my delight, he checks back and I feel like I certainly have the best hand. the river is the 6:club and I decide to bet small, 125 for value from 77-99. He calls and asks if I have a 5. I table my hand and JJ is no good to AA. I am frustrated and a bit confused but still ready to keep chugging along.

Unfortunately, my day does not turn around when I try and complete A 2 in the SB for 3 more dollars. We see a flop 5 way and it comes t 7 2 it checks around and the turn is the A I bet 25 and the BB calls. the river is the 9 and I bet my two pair for value, 55 on the river. My recreational villain raises to 150 and I am forced to fold.

My last chance to make something of the night comes when i raise 9 9 in the CO to 30 over two limpers. The BB and one of the limpers call. The flop comes 532 and the BB leads out for 75. the limper between us folds and I am not giving up let and call. the turn is the 6 The BB checks and I check back. The river comes the T and he checks to me again. I check back feeling like I have some showdown value but I am no good once again to AA.

We got nothing going all day and ran into the top of a lot of ranges but not all sessions are going to be peachy. Still had a good time but it was not the homecoming I was expecting. I will say I had an amazing philly steak from Geno's (not pictured here) that was worth all the hurt put on to me.

Getting out of work tomorrow and heading to either Parx or Mohegan Sun - will just depend on the traffic at the time but both will most likely be about 2 hours. But the deeper Parx games seemed very good the few times I've been.

We've already hit 3/10 new casinos for this year and although Parx will not be a new one for me it will add even more variety to the stories.

If anyone has any comments on any of the hands so far I'd love to hear them! Update to come tomorrow/Saturday morning.

Good luck on the tables!

Parx::

The trip to Parx brought the unique casino count for July to 6. This was also one of the more swingy sessions I've had. It was also my longest, 13 hours. Being stuck almost 300bb 11 hours in, it feels like a win to just lose about 50bb as my session ended at 5:30 AM.

The trip got off to a rocky start as it took us almost 3 hours to arrive. (Thanks again NY) we are seated and we quickly learn it's going to be an interesting day. We get off to a good start after we 4bet T T to 225 after an aggro loose recreational made it 100. He calls and we see a 9 7 2 flop and I shove for his last 180. He folds and we take it down.

The session starts to takes a downhill turn when we raise Q T from LP and get called by the SB and BB. we see a 9 77 it checks through and the turn comes the J:hearts: it checks to me again and I bet 35. Only the SB calls and we see the K on the river. He checks and I bet 80 for value. He ranks for a bit and makes it 240. His line makes no sense to me and I call quickly. I lose to 7777. Nice hand.

Shortly after, we see a flop 4 way for 25 with two black ducks. The flop comes QJ2 and a short stack shoves for about 150. We make the call and lose to 9 7. The next two hours looks like this : raise with x pocket pair or suited broadway, miss completely and lose and we get into a decent sized hole.

At 3:00 we are stuck almost 300bb until we pick up JT on the button 6 handed. After one limp I make it 20 to go. Only the SB calls. We see a flop of 8 K 6 after the SB checks we make it 35 to go with a bunch of backdoors. He calls and the turn brings the 9. Trying to maximize my fold equity I make it 105 after he checks again on the turn. He calls fairly quickly and we see a Q river bringing me the straight but also bringing in the backdoor flush. He checks to me again and I decide on a small sizing to target his perceived weaker range here. I make it 125 and without much thought he makes it 295. I think for a minute and make the call. Pair of 6's is no good and we start the comeback.

Shortly after we 3bet/gii for 100bb with KK and win when villain announces 'A high' on a 3573K board. We retire for the night having made a somewhat solid comeback. The mental game did not falter even while being down heaps.

Parx II

We wake up the next day and check out of the hotel. Didn't get the most sleep but still feel ready to go. The first 2/5 game starts as soon as I get to the room. Alright, I can work with this.

The session starts out pretty normally as I blast off about some chips raising, getting 3 callers, and whiffing. I finally hit a flop when I raise AK UTG to 25 pre and get two callers.

We see a flop of A T 2 and I lead into the two players for 50. They both call and we see a 7 turn. I lead 125 and the player next to act tank/raises to 350. He had previously raised an orbit ago on the turn as well and had the goods. The player last to act folds and it's back to me. With how strong I look, I figure this is not a bluff enough of the time and lay it down.

We start to chip back up by winning a few pots with cbets and then we pick up A K in the SB. After one limp, a MAWG makes it 25 in the HJ. BTN who is a MAWG grindy looking player with headphones makes it 75. We decide to 4b to 200 and only BTN calls. The flop comes 932 we end up checking through 3 streets as turn and river are blanks and AK high is good. Alright, I'll take it.

After a few hours of not being able to pick up a hand and either just folding pre or giving up postflop - we pick up 98 in MP. In a straddled pot, and a limp UTG from a MAAG we make it 50, and only our UTG limper calls. The flop comes 754. She checks to us and we cbet 75. She thinks for a short while and plays with her chips attempting to size her raise for about 30 seconds continuously switching up chips (god this tilted me) until she finally makes it 190. We quickly fold and call it a day after about 5 hours. Ended up stuck a few hundred BBs for the trip but the games were excellent and I thought I played OK. Probably not my A game though.

Back at it next weekend - going to try to put in a good session.

Good luck all!

Had this whole paragraph written and overwrote it by accident RIP

Mohegan Sunday:

We wake up early on a fine Sunday and make the 90 minute drive to Mohegan Sun. We end up perfectly on time as the game has just started with one seat open at 11:00. We take our seat and begin what turns out to be a 10 hour session. It was one of those nights we love to be a part of as poker players, action packed and (very) deep games.

Our day starts off significantly less than adequately when on just our second hand we pick up TT in MP and make it 25 to go. A loose passive recreational calls 100BB deep next to act and we see a gorgeous 852 flop. We cbet 35 and our villain calls. The turn is the 2 and we bet 100. Villain quickly calls and we see a safe 4 on the river. We shove for our final 330 and villain quickly calls and rolls over K2. Not the start we had quite hoped for.

We attempt to turn it around about an hour later when we pick up TT in MP. A solid reg opens to 20 from EP and we 3bet to 70. It folds around to the original raiser who ends up flatting. We see a flop of J 6 2 and he checks to us. Both betting and checking back have some merit but against this villain we decide to see a turn. It pays off handsomely as the dealer peels the T. Villain checks to us again and we bet 125 into 140. He quickly jams for 430 total and we call. the river is a 4th club, but it doesn't matter as he turns over KK and we scoop a nice sized pot.

We continue our roll when we open up AK in EP to 20 and get only 4 callers. We are a little less annoyed when we see a A T 2 flop. After the BB checks we bet 75 and get just the villain from hand 1 to call. The turn is the lovely K and we bet 200 leaving villain with 280 behind. He quickly calls and we see a safe 6 river. We jam for the final 280 effective and villain quickly calls with A J and we scoop a nicely sized pot.

It's now about 6:00 and most of the people who started the table are still here. Most stacks are over 300BB deep and the game is getting interesting. The fun doesn't stop as we manage to pick up AA and open to 15 in the CO. everyone behind calls and we see a flop of Q 2 5 the blinds check to us and we bet 45. Only the SB calls who is a young asian regular who I have a ton of history with. The turn is the 7 and we bet 115 after he checks to us. He calls and the river is the T After a 3rd time checking to us we bet 225 on the river and he calls. He mucks after we show the aces.

In our final notable hand of the day we have AJ in MP and raise to 25. Our villain from hands 1 & 3 calls and we see a flop of A56 We bet 35 and he calls. The turn is the 2:diamonds: and once again we bet, this time 100 and he calls again after some thought. The river is the 4 and we check to him, not figuring we can get value from much, but have a hand we can bluffcatch with. Just as we are composing a quick prayer to have him bet small he jams for 356 into a pot of about 315. Given the gameflow and our history with this player we decide to call. Unfortunately, we are wrong as he flips over the nuts; 87

We played some memorable pots and ended up ending the night with a modest profit, one that was much needed. We'll be back in the action this weekend again.

Also I'm quite excited to say that we have a Miami trip booked for 8/23-8/29, so will be able to feature some more new casinos and get some cool TR's.

In regards to the Miami trip (8/23-8/29)

Anyone in the South Florida area have any ideas on where to stop by and play?

I'm thinking:
Hard Rock Hollywood
Hialeah
Big Easy

Are these worth it? Any others I'm missing.

Friday Night at the Sun:

Fresh off of work we head straight over to the Sun. Our normal 90 minuite drive turns to 140 minutes due to the timing of our trip. Nothing you can do when you have the gambling itch.

Our session immediately starts off action packed when we raise K K in MP and make it 25 over a limper. One player int he field calls and a young asian regular who I have a ton of history with, and who has also been in a few HH's as well in earlier posts, makes it 125 in the SB. It folds to us and we decide to rip it in for our 500 starting stack. The field caller folds and it gets back to villain in the SB who thinks for 5 seconds and calls which is a great sign. The board runs out J high and he flashes QQ after I table my hand and we get a nice cooler to start off the day.

Our next interesting hand comes when we complete 97 from the SB in a straddled pot after two limpers. The BB also limps as does the straddler and we see a 965 flop 5 ways. I decide to lead out for 40 here with top pair and a gutter and get one caller, the straddler; a middle aged asian player who has been playing very loose and aggressive all day. The turn is the 9:hearts: bringing in a backdoor flush draw and making us trips. I lead out again for 100 into a pot of 130 and he quickly calls. His quick call in concerning, and it seems to me that we may need some help on the river. The river in fact bails us out as it comes the 7 We decide to size quite big as there is a ton that can call us again on the river, and make it 280. Villain doesn't think for too long and calls. Our hand is good.

Not long goes by until we get into another situation with the previous villain. We make it 20 to go UTG with QQ and get called by the same villain in MP. The BTN and BB call as well and we see a JT4 flop. After the BB checks we bet 45 and are called only by the middle aged asian villain from the previous hand. The turn is the 7 and we bet 100. Villain calls again and we see the ugly K on the river. We decide to go for thin value and bet small, 105, hoping to get called by a 1 pair hand that held on. Villain thinks for about 30 seconds and then decides to raise, and we have an easy fold as played.

Before the dust settled for the night we look down at AT UTG and decide to limp. A bad foreign recreational makes it 25 next to act and gets 3 calls before it gets back to us. We make the call and see a flop of AT7. We check first to act planning to c/r. Villain who opened makes it 100 to go. An asian player who I've only seem once before makes it 400 next to act. the two players behind fold and its back to me. In what was the second longest decision of my life (we always act quickly) we decide to take the most passive route possible in every decision and fold. V who led out calls all in for less and the board runs out K 9 and the villain who made it 400 shows A K and is good. Still having nightmares about that spot as I write this. I literally have no clue what happened.

Back at it tomorrow!

Mohegan Sun(day)

As if Friday wasn't enough action, we were able to find some time to make it down to Mohegan Sun for round two of the weekend. It was all in all an average Sunday. Two 2/5 games ran basically the whole day and it was time to get on the grind.

Out first interesting hand of the day happens when we pick up 97:diamond in the BB with the straddle on and limp for the extra $5 when it folds all the way around to us. The flop comes KQ4. We lead out for 15 and the straddle calls. The turn is the 7 completing the rainbow and giving us a pair. We decide to lead again for 40 this time, and once again villain calls. The river is the blank 5 and we bet 85 as a bluff. In hindsight I think as played a c/c line is better, but we'll learn from this one. He calls quickly and KJo is good.

The exact next hand happens to be an interesting one as well. There are two limpers in MP when a MAWL makes it 25 in the CO. the BTN who has been VPIPing about 80% calls. It's to us in the SB and we elect to call here with KQ the two limpers call and we see a 9T4 flop. First to act here we obviously check and it manages to check through. The turn is the amazingly lovely J giving us the next, and we check again planning to c/r. It folds around to the original raiser who bets 75. BTN folds and we make it 225 to go with 250 behind. Only the original bettor calls and we see the action killing 8 on the river. I don't love it but we're going to stick in our last $250 into a $575 pot expecting villain to call here a lot. Unfortunately she folds, but we still take down a good sized pot.

The final interesting spot of the day comes when we limp KJ UTG 7 handed. I don't love raising here with this holding from EP, but I also feel like it's a fine hand to limp/call with. I'd love to hear some thoughts here though regardless. There's one more limp behind me and a good winning young regular makes it 25 from MP and it folds to me. I make the call and so does the limper behind me and we see a J42 flop. I can't ask for much more than that. We check and so does the other limper and the original raiser makes it 40. We call, the other limper folds and we see a 8 turn. I check once again, and once again villain fires. This time it's a wager of 110. I decide to call again and we see a blank 6 river. I check again and he wastes to time making it 225 on the river. I tank for a bit, eventually make the call and lose to AA.

All in all, probably not the best lines were taken on a bunch of hands, but I think it's good to review, look back and try to learn from them. Going to be putting in some more sessions of course this weekend and continue trying to improve. GL out there all.

Forgot another interesting hand that we played as well....

Straddle on, we raise 30 from MP with KT CO calls, who is VPIPing about 70 %, so does the BTN, and the straddle. We start the hand with 500, and are 500 eff with the CO. The flop comes QJ2 giving us the open ender with a flush draw. it checks to us and we make it 100, and only the CO calls. the turn is a 8 which doesn't help, but with the pot as bloated as it is, we have just over a potsized bet left. We decide to stick it in and CO eventually thinks about it and folds. He later says he folded a Queen which is a big win for us.

Putting in a small session tomorrow, should be fun.

GL out there all.

Played a quick 2 hour session on Thursday, didn't play too many hands of note, but one fun one where 6 handed we straddle and get KK and get an UTG raise to 20. It gets around to us and we 3bet to 75. the raiser calls and we see a flop of KAT We lead for 125 and he calls again. The turn is an interesting A bringing out 3 to a royal but also giving us a full house. We shove the rest of our 350 stack into a 400 pot and unfortunately he folds A8o face up. Don't think we can play this any other way but thought it was a lol straddle hand. Unfortunately we counted win too many other pots but booked a small win.

Going to get a long session in tomorrow, shooting for 10 hours. Should be a fun one. http://imgur.com/a/9e442
