Weekend Formal

After grinding pretty hard last Monday to Friday, I had a pretty relaxing weekend. My girlfriend had a sorority formal that included alumni so for the first time since I was doing job interviews out of college I got to suit up.

I had two mutual friends from highschool go as well and we shared a room, and it was your good old drunken time.

I was planning on playing a late Sunday Session but my girlfriend got sick from the hangover and I stayed at her place.

Here's a pic of us all cleaned up

Borgata Spring Open

Will be down next Monday-Wednesday with a friend and will fire one bullet in event #1 (Which I will inevitably regret), there mostly to grind cash.

Twitch

Had planned on doing my first stream the 15th but wanted a semblance of consistency and not have the first stream be awful so first Stream will be April 25th, 6-8pm and pretty much every Tuesday going forward. If it goes well I may add longer timeslots/extra day.

Poker

I've had that massive itch where I just wanna play/study poker and get as good as possible as quickly as possible. Doing quite a bit of solver work which I'm starting to enjoy, also realizing how deficient I am in sooooo many spots. It's a good feeling to know I can still get way better though.

Had a year's best day today, +2900 to put the month back on track. Here's a graph of the last two days.

Tilttting day. Started off good and then just got doomswitched at 400/600 where I lost about 2k over 300 hands, won about $800 from the other stakes to not make it an awful, awful day. Played very well til about 20 minutes ago when I noticed I was tilting a bit.

Have ran pretty atrocious this entire year at anything 400 plus but will keep playing in the good games until I finally catch some heat. Have been crushing 100/200 this month which has mitigated the damage.

Thanks for all your help man

Missed playing Saturday and Sunday due to other obligations but have really just been itching to play a ton this month. Already passed my studying goals for this month and still could reach 100k hands for the month.

Off to AC til Wednesday for live cash, decided not to fire bullet for the opening Borgata event, so no online til then.

Mini AC Trip

Andddd we went essentially breakeven. Made about +725 in cash over 28 hours and did fire one bullet in the first event.

Mixed half my play between 2/5 and 5/10. There were spurts where the 5/10 was just as soft as 2/5. I had about 3 whales dump off about 7k to the only other 2 regs at the table after my friend left which was slightly tilting. Played Ok was very card dead at this stake unfortunately.

One fun HH from 2/5 to exemplify LOLlivepoker

I'm UTG and I limp AA , I never do this anymore but villain to my direct left was raising every hand so I started limping some strong hands. Anyway, he raises to $20 get two callers and I backraise to $110, only whale calls

Flop: $260 10 9 7

Villain can stab wide, not my favorite texture, He has $750 behind and due to his tendencies I intend to check jam here given how wide he calls.

Check/ Check

Turn: $260 4

I check, he bets $100 and I jam for his last $650, he tank calls and I'm up against... A4

So live Poker is in good shape.

Back to a healthy 3 day grind starting today to get back on track and chase the 100k hands

Yeah I was getting raised on a ton of rivers by passive fish with strong but not nutted hands, ah well.

Mini Rostucko? Won some back following a whale at 600 and 1k. Did bluff this one off at 400, I think it's ok but I'll have to check later.

Dropped the ball today with streaming, left a cord for my second monitor at home, so we'll have to wait til Mid-May, on the bright side will get to stream some SCOOPS.

Will come up with a more coordinated schedule going forward for sure.

Last full day of grinding for the month today send some heat

Yeah sorry guys, I just don't want to start it off half ass! I do have a CVS that's like 15 mins away but just feels too rushed.

Mid-May seems like the best way to do it for a few weeks. I'm gone to Baltimore first week of May to play some live cash and then have a real vacation for Florida.

I like the way you present your stream/advertise it well so I might steal a few concepts

Punished by the Streaming Gods

First time in the while I had to quit cause I was just tilting really badly. Session stats were like 39/31/14 over 1.5k hands.

Had just a ridiculous amounts of coolers and I'm about 27 buyins below EV at 200 over 38k hands which is super frustrating.

ANYWAY, gonna meditate again, go for a quick run, eat, get back on at like 9 and play good poker til 12 and not worry about results (Even though I totally bitched about them before ).
