Yes should be a fun one. Given the EV outline I really can't afford to play more than 9 tables so that will be my baseline. Estimating about 235-250 hours of play time.

Not sure what you mean exactly, 4 EV bb/100

Due to utilizing only one significant digit in your original statement of, "4 ev bb/100" it's possible it may be interpreted as "equal to or greater than 3.50 ev bb/100"... So clarification prior to the start of the bet utilizing significant figures to the hundredths place would be advised.

150k at 100nl+ is gonna be tough with NJ traffic but doable if you grind all 8 hours from 7pm-2AM. Good luck!

I still have no idea your sn, PM?

Won't go into too much detail with any player, but he's solid, does some things well and like everyone else has a few leaks as well.

I've had quite a bit of frustrating sessions since my stop in Borgata, culminating in a pretty biggish loss tonight at 1k. My shots have worked out horrendously at 1/2k that I decided to block the stakes after tonight. I wanted to ***** about it but I had coaching at 4 am (#wholovesitmore) and he's running way worse than me for way more money. Moral of the story is: 1.) There's no justice in poker and 2.) Someone always has it worse.

Anyway, feel a lot better about my game after coaching and just really going into depth about spots.

For the rest of the month I'm Going to just stick to the 200/500 mix with some 100 if not enough games are running. Despite getting hammered, I already think I can win at those stakes, not like I'm crushing them of course but think I'm +EV in a good amount of lineups. This change will also help get me ready for my October bet, where I'll be very transparent about my results.

Massive sample of my 1/2k shots

Hands:

Yeah he played the hand very poorly pre and flop, he's normally aggressive not sure why he played it that way

I'm assuming he's got SB's flatting range as very tight and making a safer flat. If you look at SB 3bet, it's only 3.8%. Def a deviation from optimal strategy but I can see the merits given 3 player dynamics.

Weak tight fish? I'd still prefer 3b

Stats doesn't look fishy except 3betting kinda low. Might be a nitty reg that traps a ton here and reshoves a lot.

There are a few more scenarios where its better to flat here.

SB was the spot at the table and is a weak tight rec/reg. He wasn't donking it off but definitely a player that's easily exploited.

In that scenario there's more of a merit to flatting although IMO 3betting is more EV. SB had a very small 4bet as well. I'm opening wider than usual because SB isn't 3betting at an optimal frequency and 99 needs to protect it's equity.

If you 3b and everyone folds it's good as you pick up an uncontested pot as a good portion of the time I'll fold, when I call it's ok because you still have a strong hand against a weaker button defending range.

But best case scenario, villain squeezes I fold, SB calls and suddenly he's headsup in a big pot against the spot in position.

September

Volume was pretty meh, but I missed half the month being in South Dakota so not bad all things considered. Did a good deal of studying, feeling much more comfortable in a lot of spots than I was previously. Feel like a much stronger player than even two months ago which is good too.

Quote:
September Goals

1.) 65,000 hands
2.) Analyze 35 hands through PIO
Failed both but probably unrealistic to begin with, I'll try to do better on this

October Goals

1.) Play 150,000 and win at 4.00 or greater EVbb (For you Brokenstars ) while playing at least 15,000 hands of 500NL+.

Prop Bet time

As shown above, if I complete my goal I win the prop bet I placed with a friend where I'm risking $1,800 at 4-1. Money has been escrowed so ready to go.

Spent a good time planning how I'm going to do this and will be full speed ahead...Will be planning to play 8-10 hours a day and only have 4 planned days off for the month.

Starting at 12AM tonight I'll be roaring to go, so good luck me

When people do these month long bets do you put in a rule about what happens if you fall horribly ill? That would be one of my biggest worries, although I guess you could just build that risk into the odds of the bet.

This was addressed, we agreed that the time frame would not be changed/delayed under any possible circumstances, ie: if i get sick or hurt myself I'm SOL
