Haha I felt like such a boss! But no comments or anything and villain is much better than me and has def gotten the better out of me in most of our tangle ups.

Some Updates:

WSOP Roll Busto

It's not really as bad as it sounds, actually! But I had approx 5k there at the beginning of the month before dropping it all over the last two weeks! Some bad play mixed with horrid run bad of course.

I only had about $400 and cash games were sparse so I fired 3 tourneys, ended up busting 2 before getting 3rd in a 5k turbo which netted me a little profit.

Lost all of that when I got ravaged to some whale at 200 NL for approx $600, meanwhile I was battling two strong regs (honestly I was the spot at the table) at 600NL and managing to win a little, just kind of funny how poker works.

*Note: not planning to play regs better than me often, but do think I'm able to improve quicker etc playing these guys, plus it's a lotttt of fun.

Anyway I threw in another $700 on WSOP, threw in $500 on Stars, while on my Party roll I can play upto 600 comfortably so kind of annoying as far as playing tables forward. Don't really wanna grind 100NL and got to wait a week for the checks from Party if I take some out...so I'll have to think the best way to maintain the highest hourly.

This Week

1. Going to focus on mental game since I've been tilting more than I usual do and getting frustrated too easily.

2. Smash volume. I'm about 5k behind my desired pace based on my calendar and I have a busy weekend plus Valentines day on Tuesday.

3. Get good study grind in tomorrow and Wednesday. Really happy with my off table work so far this month, despite me playing bad mostly,

Played super bad today and have played pretty bad this month, I have not found the fold button this month lol ....gonna take tomorrow off for mental health day and spoil said girlfriend.

Was able to disperse some money on both WSOP and Stars and will spread money between them as I will take some money out of my Party. bye 600 NL

Stuck in the mud this month still! Down about 1.5k, had a frustrating session today where I played solid for the most part just not winning. Had mental coach today which helped me layout a plan going forward.

Few hands from today:

1.) Hero fold...really sick spot I think...against good reg...blah

Feel like AK is a call if you believe he's Jamming TT-QQ preflop. If he's a good reg he will be jamming ATs, 9Ts, and QTs as bluffs on the river w/ blockers. In terms of value he only has so many QJs TJs in his range.

Edit: Turn might be a good spot to lead as you have 16 combos of AK and he doesn't.

Yeah a lot of what you said ran through my mind and I may have leveled myself. I considered leading, I think I was leaning towards small turn lead instead of jamming but once again not sure. I was thinking in game how unbalanced my turn lead range would be here so I decided to check, but think adding some Kx as bluff would work. Overall, yeah I think lead is best, unsure of small lead or jam though.

As far as his range, I do think he's most play flatting 10's but could jam at some frequency and most of his QQ would jam and flat at a very small frequency. I think I decided that he wasn't turning enough hands into bluffs and he always barrels AK that I decided to C/F, but you bringing up all those bluff combos is making me think again!

I play in the states! I wish Zoom would run on Stars but for some reason regs don't want to play it, which i'll never understand.

Playing 3 sites ATM: Stars/WSOP/Party Poker.

WSOP Circuit

Will be in AC for the WSOP Circuit in March. Should be a nice fun break from the online grind as I havent played live cash in way too long, might fire a small tourney for a chance at a ring. Getting 9 days of hotel for $45 is quite a nice deal so excited to keep expenses low

PIO Solver

Splitting this with a friend, gonna make sure I apply it correctly and hopefully improve my game

Have a good weekend everyone!

Ya sizing you can probably get from PIO easily. I'd assume two streets would be better and allows you to bet most of your range.

GL at AC! Will likely be there one of the weekends to play cash @ Borgata.

Been putting up some nice volume last 3 days and just pulled an all nighter tonight as games were good. I of course got crushed for about 2k.

Gonna take a few hour nap hit the gym, study a bit and get back to it. Month's graph is pretty ugly atm!

That session has been an epitome of this month. Despite the results, pretty pleased with how I've played this week compared to me just clicking buttons the first two weeks, definitely playing pretty strong.

This is a good quote that I've had pop in my mind while playing.

"Everyone will eventually run worse than they thought was possible. The difference between a winner and a loser is the latter thinks he doesn't deserve it."
"

I think it's very important to keep me sharp and despite me running not well, I've made tons of mistake that have cost me money. I think it's very important to be mindful of this and not just blame "variance".

Anyway, month still very toasty, about 4.5k under EV, but my volume should be on pace for a healthy 65-70k hands and I have live stops planned for the next 3 consecutive months.

Some fun hands:

1.) Slightly unusual line against reg who plays 2k. *Sidenote I haven't played enough with the regulars at the stake to get a super good read on who's very good and who's meh

5.) Pretty interesting hand against reg where I made big river mistake. Pre is standard, flop also standard though I could raise at some frequency. On turn, some alarm bells go off, 8x stronger for my range but given his flop sizing he will have a ton of 8x as well, obviously never folding though. River brings 3 of a kind on boards and I think his check is good for sure and I'd assume he's checking his whole range here, even his quads. Decided to jam to hope for a hero from the middle pairs that thought I bricked the draws but really never getting heroed here often so kinda just donated $300 :/

AA Should still be more EV 3betting when 40/xx whales are in the blinds. They will cold call your 3bets so much. Besides, I've noticed that even whales shut down in multiway pots when they are not the aggressor.

I'd prefer a flat here more often if both whales have high squeeze and Lower VPIP.

The shortest month has been quite ****ty, to be frank. I played pretty poorly first two weeks and then basically got doomswitched the whole month, I really need to improve to the point where I can win variance free.

While last month gave me some breathing room, I'm once in kind of a tight financial situation. Hopefully the gift of live poker will get me back on track... (if anyone is in AC 12-20th hit me up!)

Have re-started meditating and kind of set up a solid schedule for studying at least 30 minutes after the gym, hoping this month was just a blip of bad results.

Few hands:

1.) Against good reg, not really a fan of my bluff and my sizing sucks, rightfully snapped.

First day of March.

This is probably the first time where poker has actually made me feel legitimately sad, I guess outside of playing. I just love this silly little game too much. Dropping 400 for the time being.

It's extremely frustrating seeing some regs do awful things and just print but it is what it is.

I was struggling before going into this session so I made sure I talked (out loud) through every decision point and I think it helped, just made a few mistakes and ran into the nuts repeatedly.

1.) Probably too thin vs reg

Have slowly grindee out winning sessions last few days. Went out for St. Pattys yday in Hoboken and having a nasty hangover but cool tidbit, ran into Michael Ruane (November 9er). Very cool dude and i found out I've played with his brother a bit.

Will put in a sesh later today after my hangover is slightly less bad and my apartment looks less like a frat house

On the bright side, haven't had an online losing day since the 1st and made back the 2k I lost.

On the not bright side, lost $1,500 last night playing 2/5. Lost a $2,500 3 way all in with 80% equity which stung quite a bit.

Will be at Harrahs on Sunday, just gonna bring the whole roll down to play some deep stacked 2/5.

Hey, no 5/10 but there was a list of interest that hit 7. Kinda surprised they never got it going. The 2/5 has been pretty amazing, a lot of whales for sure. Had about 5 2/5 tables running last night which I thought was pretty good for a Monday and a storm coming.

Had a funny hand where I misclicked squeezed QQ to 575 after a whales 30 open. We checked down on an AKxxx board where MHIG against 55 lol.

I used my total rewards to get a nice suite and my gf came down since she was off work today. Taught her how To play blackjack at a $10 table and we both ran hot, I won $500 plus $3552 at poker for a very nice 4K day.

Heading into the 6 max for an hour, was actually iffy about joining with how good the cash has been but decided I'll flick a buyin today for my first live tourney of 2017

Nice session bud.

Thanks Stella! Yeah I dropped the ball on that one, if I'm fortunate to run it up I'll take one.

Currently on dinner break of 6 max, heading to 800/1600 at 42k with 53 left. I'm the short stack of a pretty deep stacked table although a few of the players are weak. Peaked at about 65k when play was deep, haven't gotten as much going as play has shallowed out. Had fun though so can't complain if I fall short (Top 24 cash and about 16k up top)

Ended busting 8 from the money in the 6 max.

And just lost my biggest pot ever (4k) where I was slow rolled and possibly angle shot. It is a pretty crazy story, I ended up getting pocket 9's in preflop for 400 bigs

Still have crushed this week, and still up this session $1,500. If I won that hand, I'd have a 7k stack but live and learn, I'll flesh out details once I get on a real computer!

What would you say were the biggest factors in helping you improve and move up limits?
