Yes LiveAction I am. I have several events circled but not sure which I'll be playing yet. My brother lives in Vegas so I flights are the only thing I need to book. I'm wanting to play the millionaire maker, and the main event but I might end up playing some of the other smaller field tournaments.

Played PLO Sunday night and broke about even. Killed it Monday playing 1-2 nl. Broke about even today playing 1-2 nl. Hoping to have a big weekend in Tampa. #highhopes. Why do small wins feel like losses after winning big?

I got to play in Panama City on spring break, small dog track but built the same as Sarasota track, are they all the same in Florida ? And have you ever played at the Panama City track before ? What did you think of it ?

Yes I've played there. If you're referring to the one I think you are it's actially in Ebro Florida. The room there is good sized and has decent structure on their cash games as far as buyin limits. The action there is typically pretty good from my experience. 2-5 nl is uncapped and plays really deep. PLO is uncapped and plays really deep. I've only played there 3-4 times. The only complaint I've heard from others is that the place isn't very safe at night. Supposedly people have been robbed leaving out of there and even the dog track themselves have been robbed. I'm sure it's fine but def want to keep a special eye out when leaving there late at night for that reason.

The night I left they had two police officers out side, said they are there every night which is good. Anyways, keep it up, enjoying the read.

Got crushed the past two nights at PLO. Nothing memorable other than running a 3k bluff on a guy who flopped a straight flush. Guess it was his day to run good bc I didn't beat the guy in a single pot.

Bricked the 20k. Got decent winner in PLO before the tournament, but then gave it all back and then some after the tournament. #swingygame

Been away from the forums for couple weeks. There just hasn't been much to report. Poker has been pretty typical lately. The found a couple great folds that might be worth posting, but then again I'm airing out a lot about my game online. I know very few people read this but i do have a few people at my local card room that have requested me to not post so much about what goes on in our card room. I understand where they are coming from and agree with them for the most part. Thinking about shutting this thread down and starting a new one. Gonna decide in the next couple weeks.

I've played poker twice since the trip to Vegas. +2k both sessions from PLO. Although they were very short I managed to finally reap some profits off my bluffy image that I've established in this room.

I also had a talk with a dealer in the room who found the thread. He says screw the locals who don't want others to find out about how great the games are here. I agree, but I am going to tone it down about the whale and focus more on how I'm doing personally as a traveling poker player. If you're reading this thanks for the kind words.

Played well last night but in the final two hands I got caught up flipping for several hundreds and ended up loser on the night. I don't typically do for as much $ as we didn't last night but how bad can I run on 50-50 propositions... So far this week 0-2

What are the buy in structures for the games you play in your local card room?

1-2 nl is 40-200. 1-3 nl is 100-uncapped. 1-2 plo is 100-uncapped. 1-2 big o is 100-uncapped. nothing else typically runs but anything bigger is obviously uncapped.

Made arrangements for an impromptu trip to Tampa Hardrock for cash games. Gonna play 5-10 nl and 5-5 plo. GL us.

Flying to Tampa this Fri, RedCoach to Tallahassee on Sat look forward to doing battle at the Creek. Likelihood of big O running? One of the dealers told me it was organized sporadically by a group of guys from GA and the game plays fairly large with 2-5-10 blinds.

I'm here for two nights. I played 5-5 PLO at seminole Hardrock last night for a couple hours. Pretty straight forward game. Won small and called it a night. Def hit me up when you get to tally. I play at creek almost everyday when I'm in town. Either Big O or PLO will be running (PLO runs almost everyday now). The big o is 2-5-10 and is set up by locals and sometimes the game stays full but if there is a search you should be able to sit no problem.

Lost 1 buyin at 5-10 no limit last night. Great game unfortunately I couldn't find a winner in the big pots. Back to PLO at Gretna tonight.
