They also have a really good 2/5 plo game that run fri n sat. 1/2 games are on poker pro computerized games. All live games are 2/5, this element forces anyone who want to play live to play 2/5, and it plays big more like 5/10. Played the 350$ Beau 150k. It ended up getting 855 runners boasting nearly a 250k prize pool and 47k up top. I played two bullets and couldn't get anything going. Played 5-10-25 plo for a couple hours as well. Got crushed all around on the trip. Gonna head back to take and hopefully find a cushy seat next to santa to try and recoup. March has taken a disasterous turn for the worst and I'll be lucky to break even this month.

Flew to Fort Lauderdale for some 5-10 nl cash game action. The flight was 75 minutes and was worth every penny not having to drive 6.5hrs each way. Gl us

I love the action there. Always great holdem and Plo during a tournament series. They get huge numbers for the tournament too. I didn't make any Money in Biloxi, but I'm shaping to make a solid score this trip to Fort Lauderdale.
Played really well In a 5-10-25 game yesterday. I took a terrible beat with AJ on a AJ3 flop, J turn, Q river. He had AA. I recovered super nicely and despite losing that 5k pot I managed to get unstuck and turn a nice profit of 4312$. Gonna skip the 250$ 100k and just play straight cash. I fly back to tally tomorrow. Crushed this mini trip to Ft Lauderdale. Managed to make 9k Total. Ran a couple of really awesome bluffs (awesome because they worked). Flopped gin one hand last night and got paid.
Also got some solid life equity out of the trip. Got to spend some time with a couple old friends from south Florida and spend some time with my dad. He just asked me, "what is a poker forum" as he's driving me to the airport as I update the thread. I forget sometimes how clueless he is to our understanding of the game.
Back in Tallahassee now. Man flying back and forth was soo worth it. First off I don't feel like I lost 2 days driving. I felt ready to play when I arrived which typically doesnt happen after driving 7 hours. The cost difference between the two different means of transportation was roughly 300$, which was more than made up for in my focus and additional time spent at the table.
Taking a day off to figure out some tax stuff. I should be back at Gretna tomorrow. Thanks for following guys. GL this weekend!
Uneventful weekend for poker. I went out with some friends both Friday and Saturday night. I'm going to take a trip to Panama City Beach for the Emerald Coast Poker series being held at Ebro this weekend. The main event is a 555$ nl holdem 1 day tournament with 40 minute levels. Might even put my good friend in it as well. We will see. Staking hasn't really worked out for me in the past. Guess it just takes one win to change that though. Car in the shop today. at Gretna waiting on a 1-2 PLO seat. The lineup is a mix of local regulars, the whale, and people from Jacksonville who traveled here to play the whale. I'm first on the list but I'm guessing it's gonna be a while before I get in the game.
Got it in twice with the whale pre. Once with AAT9ds he makes a straight with 2369. Then get it in with KQJ9ds and he wins with A723dd. Not even a sweat on the second hand as he flopped the nut flush and I had no pairs. Stuck two thousand now trying to run up the last thousand I brought to get unstuck. Up to 2100 at the moment. Mission accomplished last night in getting unstuck in the PLO game. I actually ended up profiting 1660 after being down over 2k. Back at it like a crack addict today. I've got a few errands to run, a burrito bowl of chipotle to eat, and then it's back to Gretna for me to try and book another week in the black. If I could erase my biloxi trips from this years records I would be up close to 40k this year. Instead I'm up about 20k. Let's keep it moving in the right direction.
