Try PLO, it's a fun game! Fun day. Past me would just rage quit at hand 800 and listen to Nirvana.

1) Don't **** with me ok

Can someone confirm that it's actually possible to win on Sundays? I play them very rarely and am getting rekt every single time.

Graph of Sundays only:

Anyway, month has started pretty well, I'm up 25 BI EV with decent volume. This might be a pretty good month if this trend continues

APRIL

1) ~35k hands

2) Stakes:

April goals:

1) 120h play; [ ] 105h
2) 40h study. At least 20h my own calcs; [ ] 30h
3) 18 workouts - gotta start increasing this number as season is coming and I do plan to compete a little bit (running); [X]
4) No oversleeping; [X]
5) Start meditate / mindfulness. No idea how to do as I've never done it, so not gonna set targets just jet. Hopefully it can help my mental game; [ ] - ran too good so didn't feel the need.
6) No distractions while playing. [?]

Cant complain too much apart from this final 10 min session just now at Party where I had to rake 4$ for RB jump and I dropped 3 stacks at PLO50 to achieve it. Nice.

Increased my MT ratio by 1, will try to increase it by 0.5 next month as I'll stay at PLO100 (might start shooting 200 at 2nd part of month).

Ran good. Played good-ish I think, could feel my post flop edge in almost every line up.

Feeling quite burnt out and tired so I'll take a week off now to regroup. I'm sure I'll lower my volume during summer, but I still have to push If I want to settle in PLO200 before September When I plan to start traveling the world.. My first stop for few months will likely be Philippines btw.

Gonna post my goals when I get back from my "vacation". GL everyone!

I'm back!

Had a really nice time totally off the tables! This might have been my longest time off poker since April last year?

Been playing since Monday and.. oh well - this is what I get for not updating my goals as I promised.

Anyway, here are my MAY GOALS

1) 105h of play [ ];
2) 20h of study [ ];
3) 18 workouts - at least 2 cycling session as I'll probably do 1/2 ironman once again in September [ ];
4) 150 pages to read [ ];
5) Finally start with mindfulness / meditation. I guess my solo running sessions are some kind of meditation as well, but oh well.. [ ];
6) Increase MTT ratio by 0.5 compared to April [ ].

Well, this week didn't go too well..

Sure it's frustrating but had to happen sooner or later. I do hope it turns around next week!

Yesterday at least I got in my 1st cycling session since September - I must say that thankfully my butt has never been molested, but the pain I'm dealing with today must be quite similar.

Well, this week was not any better. Sure it's frustrating and demotivating, but this is like what, 35 BI dowswing? While EV is just 15 BI. On the bright side - I had 55 BI downer in January and I came out all right, so all I can do for now is ignore $ signs and keep delivering volume and A game! It's easier to be said than done though. I gotta admit that this bad run has started to affect me and I'm sliding away from my A game. Maybe time to try out mindfulness / meditation?

MAY

Oh, what a train wreck month this was. Not only running bad, but also slipping into B game, and therefore not achieving my targets (or me just being lazy?). As tilt resistance grows shorter and shorter, couple of days I quit early after couple of coolers and didn't even want to think of studying / analazing that day. oh well.

1) ~30k hands

2) Quite ****ty RB at Party this time..

MAY GOALS

1) 105h of play [ ]; 81h
2) 20h of study [ ]; 19h
3) 18 workouts - at least 2 cycling session as I'll probably do 1/2 ironman once again in September [ ]; 16. Did 2 cycling sessions.
4) 150 pages to read [X];
5) Finally start with mindfulness / meditation. I guess my solo running sessions are some kind of meditation as well, but oh well.. [ ]; ...
6) Increase MTT ratio by 0.5 compared to April [ ]. Actually dropped 0,1. Was doing all right with this, but last 2 weeks while running bad dropped table count.

So yeah, there was no way this could been a winning month, but I could have lost less as well as hit my non poker related goals.

June goals:

1) 90h play;
2) 20h study;
3) NO DISTRACTION WHILE I PLAY - PLAY MY A GAME;
4) 20 wor outs, 3 cycling sessions, 3 swimming sessons;
5) 150 pages;
6) Get out of bed before 9:30am every single workday, no matter in bad mood I am.

Playing good, putting in decent volume, doing bunch of calcs. Finally had a winning week after 4 or 5 losing ones, but that I have no control of.

JUNE

1) 90h play; 83h
2) 20h study; 15h
3) NO DISTRACTION WHILE I PLAY - PLAY MY A GAME; [X]
4) 20 work outs, 3 cycling sessions, 3 swimming sessons; 21, but just 1x swimming, 1x cycling;
5) 150 pages; [X] Been reading Anhony Kiedis "Scar Tussue" autobiography, so this is easy;
6) Get out of bed before 9:30am every single workday, no matter in bad mood I am. [ ] - Was crushing it until final 2 days when I overslept (partly due to tilt) - both days were very big losing days. Coincidence?

1) ~30k hands;

2) RB pro;

Been playing good poker, avoiding all distractions while I play. Currently enjoying 60k-80k hand BE stretch, which is perfectly normal. Yet if affects me. I want to work more on my mental game this month. If I want to keep playing this game for living, short term results cannot affect my life quality. I can't control monetary results, but I can set up my mindset in the best possible way so I play my A game all time. I will introduce session preparation in my routine.

But more importantly, I've been really enjoying this summer so far, and July gonna be more of the same with less volume and more real life.

July goals:

1) 100h play, 20h study;
2) 20 work outs;
3) 150 pages;
4) Get out of bed before 9:30am every single workday;
5) No distractions while I play;
6) Develop and start doing session preparation.

Easy game

Spoiler:
Oh wait..

Another proof how toxic can be results oriented thinking / getting euphorical / tilted from short term results. Only thing that matters is playing your best whenever you play.

It depends on the time of day when you want to play and the RB deal you have. I'd say mpn, as it has lower rake and higher RB. You can PM me your skype if you want to talk more about rooms / deals as I know it all.

Are you trolling me? Yellow is winnings + RB. SD/non SD lines are not shown.

Nah not trolling. I made an error

I was looking at post 60 and saw u had 3 lines and just assumed it would be EV, winnings, and non SD. I didn’t even notice the key at the bottom of the graph lol.

Good luck out there

We do all right vs two 60% ranges. I don't remember precisely, but those were closer to 100%. Can't go too wrong with folding that spot, but I can for sure do better than -50bb/100 vs 2 wide recs.
