Sup guysssssssss
Another very productive week of work! I am absolutely crushing the volume so far to start the year. I'm up a fair bit at the tables as well but honestly I'm way more proud of the volume. I've been trying to keep more structure to my grind and not waste a bunch of time playing fortnite/whatever other nonsense. So far so good and I hope I can keep this up throughout the year. I still struggle with a desire to not play poker sometimes but I've been successful pushing through it and I think having more structure and goals is a big help with that.

Mostly been doing 4 full ring tables on ignition. Full ring is pretty boring but the tables are good and it's unfortunately necessary because along with my ignition tables I've been doing 2 tables of plo on an app and a table or two of mixed game cash on another site. My brain just can't handle 6max tables when also playing other game types. I think my hourly is highest this way and honestly it's more enjoyable than just playing straight nlhe. I don't particularly like plo and have done so little work on the game but the games are really soft and I know enough that it makes sense to be in there. Been going really well so far and up a decent amount on each of the three games/sites. I may need to tinker with my setup here and there though because it's def super tiring sometimes. Like tonight I was playing 4nlhe, 1 plo, 1 5 card plo, 1 badacey, and 1 8game mix. Lot to keep track of when mixing diff game types.
I have not done as much study this week as I would have liked. I did have a coaching session a few days ago and got some good things to think about and work on. I plan to get more at some point, still trying to figure out the most optimal way to go about this. Utilizing PIO is obv a very useful tool (as long as you are using it correctly) and I want to be working on things consistently. It's very difficult getting it in sometimes though because the most important things to me right now are my wife/getting to the gym/and getting in good volume. My father in law is very sick and in and out of the hospital so that is eating up some time and obv just stressful situation in general. Just gonna keep plowing through for now and studying when I can. I'm trying to decide if it's higher ev hourly to keep doing what I'm doing vs working back in more 2/5 6m, so I'll have to run some numbers and see.
Life:
As mentioned, father in law is sick so that's ****ty. Besides that life is pretty good right now. My friend had a baby a few weeks ago and it's pretty awesome to see. I'm in such a weird spot right now where I 100% want a kid or two at some point but also don't want the stress/expense right now that comes with it lol. It's def a couple years away for us still, but I think it's something you are never gonna feel 100% ready for, just need to take the jump when it's the right time and try to be the best parent you can be!
Been in a really great routine with the gym, prob been going 6 days a week on avg. Still just doing cardio for now so that's not that crazy. Looking forward to working back in weight lifting in the next couple weeks. Still not happy with some of the snacking I've been doing though. Just eating way too many empty calories like chips. For a little extra motivation to knock that off gonna give a small freeroll for this week.
