Background
For those who don't know me my name is Tyler. Crazy to think that it was 4-5 years ago that I started my first PGC on here and now I'm an old withered freshly turned 30 year old. PGC has always been my favorite section of 2p2. It's not what it once was but neither is 2p2 as a whole. There's still many great threads with some great people though and it's a lot of fun to follow people's journeys. No promises on how often I'll update this, but I figured it'd be fun to start updating again and a nice side benefit is that it gives a place to get out thoughts and plan some structure in my life.
2018
Overall 2018 will go down as a decently successful year. Made somewhere around 6 figs at the tables and rocked back and forth throughout the year between being pretty tired of poker/variance and at times feeling more motivated and grinding hard. Most of my volume in 2018 was on a variety of asian apps. Tbh I really hate the hassle of grinding those sites but the games were great so whatever. Games are still good but got a little worse/smaller I assume because a lot of chinese players got shut down at some point halfway thru the year. I got a couple hundred thousand hands in at ignition over the year as well and although their software is ****ty as well it's way more fun than playing on a bunch of emulators and ipads. I prob played an avg stake of ~400nl/500nl on the asian apps and played a mix of 200nl/500nl on ignition. Also played a tiny bit of mixed game live cash during wsop time. The plan for 2018 is mostly the same although maybe a little more focus on ignition than before with the asian apps a bit deader than they used to be. Don't have any graphs of the china apps as they weren't pokermaster and the only way I was able to track them was with a spreadsheet, but will throw in a couple pics of ignition stuff.

2019
As mentioned above the plan basically remains the same when it comes to poker. I've had good motivation lately and been getting a good amount of hours in so hopefully can keep that up. Have redeveloped some good structure to my day in terms of getting up and going to the gym and then getting some good work/study hours in. Studying is something that I have always struggled with when it comes to poker. I honestly just don't enjoy it a lot of the time and somehow I've been able to maintain strong winrates without much study (games being good helps!). However, I've been doing more of it lately and hope to continue to push myself to do more of it. I think one of my greatest assets over the years has been my ability to adapt and also being pretty good at learning through playing and by learning from watching other good players. However there's no doubt that you're leaving something on the table these days by not studying with all the crazy tools that are available today. I'd like to find a good CFP situation tbh to help use these tools more efficiently/properly, but we'll see what happens there. There's definitely some great options out there, it's just hard to justify giving up pretty large amounts of $ when your winrate has remained strong. If anyone has suggestions from their experiences I'd love to hear it. I know PGC's own bbissick (who has been one of the most interesting pgc's to follow lately imo) worked with BTS and got a lot out of it. But yeah we shall see, all about weighing what you're giving up with what you're getting.
In terms of life goals for 2019 my goal is mainly to continue to eat better and keep up with going to the gym. Only been doing cardio for awhile because of some body pain issues, but plan is to start working back in lifting weights very soon. Overall life is good, got married in October, have the honeymoon to look forward to in March to Aruba. Most likely WSOP for a bit in the summer. Might throw some goals and maybe some freerolls in here from time to time for a bit of extra motivation.
Thanks for following! Gl all in 2019!
