Whatsup my name is Robbert, I am a 30 years old bald guy from Amsterdam, currently living
in Chiang Mai Thailand. Came to Chiang Mai when i was chatting with a grinder that lived
there and though why the hell not?

Love it here so far, nice people, nice weather , cheap livings, the works.
So decided to make this thread to track my progress and keep me accountable for it.

I started playing cash but got bored of it after I had a period in my life where i spend too much time online and playing video games. Decided I needed a change and stopped playing video games and started the sng's and mtt's grind and loving it ever since. I am following Yugioh's Mtt grinder
and his bankroll builders series on Deuces-cracked. Been following his steps and these are my results so far:

grafp0rn2: http://gyazo.com/3d547350ef04bc4c53748129f421badb

So without further ado here are my goals:

goals:
- grind: 6 hours day 6 days week 6 tables minimum
- 1.5 hours of study per day
- 1 hour of walking per day
(doing these already)

then add in these goals,
trade YouTube and mindless internet surfing in for:

- starting to coach lower stakes students ~6 hours/week
- make 1 video a week on YouTube (grind session or explaining a concept)
- be a more social person, (go outside more, visit cities, travel)

of course i have the necessary savers:

btw have no idea how to upload these as a image so a link will do for now i guess

Ok so I read "treat your poker like a business" and i got really inspired to follow the advice in that book. First off all I am gonna increase the number of tables I play, reaching the long term faster is the goal here and also increase $.
With focus I can easily take 14 tables at a time.

Next I am gonna drop all forms of distractions, no more Skype , no more audiobooks while grinding, just a pure grind baby.

Then the advice of sticking with one type of game also stuck with me. So I am gonna drop the 18 mans for 180 mans. So my grind is gonna be:

$15 45 mans
$8 180 mans
$3r 180 mans
$15 180 mans

Here is todays grind:

winnings so far:

also proud to helped out a beginner today for 45 mins on skype.

Hi Robbert I have just moved to Chiang Mai to play MTT-s. I am a huge Yugiohpro fan (seen all his videos on DC - not only once

I am a serious player with a plan very similar to yours. Would be very happy to get in touch with you if you find some time. I am from Ljubljana (Slovenia) and my skype name is toni.kos and mail: tonikoss@gmail.com

^^^tonikoss, It's not a wise move to post your skype and mail address on a public forum. I'd remove them if possible or contact a mod to do so for you.

Just send the OP a private message with your details.

GL on the switch Robbert. Adding MTTs next would be a good step for you. I'd also consider removing 45mans completely and replacing them with some form of six man SnG. Get yourself on some other networks and crush them all.

Hi guys,

quick update here, changed my game plan around a little bit. Again after rereading "treat your poker like a business" i decided to add the following things to my grind:
- detach chat from the tables. Very easy to use on Pokerstars just configure it in options. And whenever you need the chat, just press CTRL+2 to add the chat back.
- slowly increase table count to 20.
- keep grinding the 45's and 180's
- no more ****ing results for 30 days, so yeah results are fun and all, but they mess up my emotions. So **** it ill post the results on 23/03. A bit boring i guess but yeah that's how i am gonna roll with it.
- increase walking to 1.5 hours a day, or add like 30 mins of weightlifting, undecided yet.

Goals so far:
average 6 hours grind per day for 6 days [x] average 6.5 hours, easy
average 1.5 hours study per day/6days [x] average ~2 hours i usually study much longer, although some days I dont study at all. It's easy for me since i just like to sit in coffeeshops and study all day.
walk average 1 hour a day [ ] only managed to walk around ~30 mins a day, which ****s up my concentration, definately very very important to keep this at least 1 hour, and I think ill up this to 1.5 hours.
coaching 1 hour a day [ ] well I do want to coach a bit more, but due lack of interest still i only helped out a total of 4 times since last update.
Make a video [x] yeah its up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZFQ...ature=youtu.be next time ill add some audio and make it less long, still a lot of interesting spots.

Alright that was it, so all in all i am pretty happy with the goals so far even though i had a few **** ups along the way. Just keep going strong and eventually I will see great succes!
