Have you been doing fewer twitch streams lately? Or have I just not been getting notifications?

A lot fewer - just bought a condo - so once all that is sorted I'll be back doing a bunch

Exciting mate. Have often thought about this as paying rent sucks and condos here are a lot more affordable than say buying a flat back in the UK. However I'm a bit of a pussy and would kind of be like putting all my eggs on one basket, in a foreign country.

Do you have any future concerns about owning property here or is it just a no-brainer good investment?

It's no a no brainer, but I did the research and have a lot of friends here that own a fair bunch also. It's a little bit complicated to understand all the laws etc but easy enough to figure it out.

Foreigners can't own land, but they can allocate about 49% of condos in a building that can be foreign owned.

The prices on condos is down about 25%, but houses are down like 60%! Houses are more complex to own because you have to do it through a company so that you can sort of own the land.

But yeah I plan to hold mine for a few years as it should be easily worth more than what I paid when things are back to 'normal' and if they get casinos here, which is a big rumour atm I'm hoping gets over the line because of Corona, prices should go even higher I hope

I just read your blog from start to finish. Your story is ****ing wild. The IDGAF attitude to your life and doing what you enjoy seems very nutted to me. Gz on that. Also baffles me that you got a 3rd in your degree when you're clearly a talented writer and story teller and smart enough to make poker work as a career. Goes to show how ****ed up the education system is and how formal education really doesn't count for very much at the end of the day.

Anyway, I recently started blogging on here myself. I moved countries as well to try and make it in poker. I shot 100nl on GG in July and got slapped back so will try again soon. (I have been grinding full-time for 2 years. Started from 2z...)

Discovered you on Youtube and have found your vlogs immensely helpful. If you decide to start a stable or coaching etc I'll be on the first flight out to Thailand to grind.

I haven't posted my full poker story on my blog yet. Totally new to blogging and just been dicking around posting updates. Maybe that's something I should do... Just dunno why it would be interesting seeing as I'm not beating meaningful stakes yet.

Hey man, i want to ask you a question. I'm from somewhere that online poker is illegal but you can still play, there are not big restrictions, just fines if you get caught (not so likely tho) but after the things get serious, it would be a problem to cash out constantly without explaining the source. It also causes anxiety to me, so i 'd like to move out somewhere else. But also since a have a pretty weak passport, 1st world is not an option, was planning to go to Brazil but then corona happened and obviously couldn't do that.

Now my options are either SE asia, or Cyprus. May i ask how is the situation in Thailand and if i go there with a tourist visa, would i be able to have a bank account and do cash transfers from poker sites legally, if you know? And how is the law for poker? Is there any taxes or something? Thanks for the content BTW, it's amazingly nice and helpful.

Don't know the answer to a lot of your questions, Thailand playing on stars is fine all I needed was my rental contract but I still use my uk bank. But Thailand won't be letting anyone in for a while!

I like the level of interaction that we get from Twitch vs. the "dead" content of Youtube.

Maybe that's just me.

I enjoy youtube as its waayy less tiem consuming, i can knock out about 10 vids on a sunday and then not need to do anythign for a while.

I do stream sporadcally to get youtube content haha
