back in the US for a week or 10 days probably, some health stuff came up. had a good first month (10 days) at poker. won 120k at cash, 11k hands, ran over EV. won 5k at 1k hypers, 500 games, also over EV. feeling confident there and my PF strategy implementation has gotten pretty efficient and quick to where i can 4 table.

also, if i dont respond to a Q dont be offended, some stuff i just cant really get into.

i dont mind. i probably have about 70% of worth in the market atm. its all ETFs. just trying to index and keep my costs low. i do not have a money manager, generally i think they are a waste of money.
i was really close to putting some $ in with Jason Strasser's HF at one point. i still might and im still following along with how theyre doing.

cool thx. Yea def agree on the money manager part. Was curious whether you'd feel comfortable with a 100%-market strategy or added some uncorrelated market neutral funds.

yeah i know but the z06+07 #s were insane. i am looking forward to see what the new GT3 RS prices come in at. also ive been kinda hearing porsche will increase production #s for future GT3s. right now people are able to get a premium reselling the 991 >msrp which is kinda bull**** and i dont think porsche should be supporting this on a ~new vehicle like this. i can understand a 918 or a laferrari being able to get more than msrp slightly second hand as theyre extremely limited production, but cmon a GT3, something isnt right here. it will be interesting to see what prices/production looks like late 2015-early 16.

I know it's such a bizarro world right now with the car industry:

* Corvette is the car that offer the best bang for your buck.
* Mustang is cornering like it's on rail.
* Ford Fiesta is beating out all Japanese competitors as the best overall car under 30k.
* F type coupe is most gorgeous car.
* The world fastest sedan is not Bentley.

I agree with you that resale value on Porsche is ridiculous, there's been speculation as to when that bubble will burst. In the meantime as long as "internet rich" guy with F.U money are willing to paid for it Porsche will keep cranking out GT3 suck for enthusiast.

This is weird.

ive always sorta had some pressure to get like some big fancy job, or go back to school and get my MBA. but ive let go of that. im just going to follow my interests and not worry about it. ive been saying maybe something in the car world but who knows. there will be something i'll get really interested in and spend a ton of time at it until im good at it. luckily still have a really strong poker drive and i think i still have a bunch more to make here before i move on.

one thing wrt to poker and work. studying a lot of off the table work, math, and theory, will let you transition into other game types and formats pretty easily. so if you have to adapt or move to where the action is you can do it and still make $. i think that's important these days. online poker these days is pretty fickle, especially with how at mercy you are to the sites decisions. for example back when party was 5/10 KOTH i used to absolutely murder it there, then over night that income just vanished.

wrt to chat. ha, im usually not a dick unless im super tilted or someone does something i find ****ty. but yeah i have my moments sometimes.

as i posted, i only got to play 10 days in jan and then i had to come back to US rather suddenly for health related stuff. still in US, be back within a week hopefully. well i was down 50k to start at im at +120k in 10k hands so i think ive been playing decently big
