Hello everyone, time flies and I notice: between work, gym and meeting people there is not much time for playing poker, which sucks! Things seemed to be easier when I was a student...
Also kids, here is some advice for you:
Don't play poker when you are really (REALLY!) tired!
Knowing I wouldn't have any time before today I decided to play some poker last Thursday night although I was really super f*cking tired. Not just did I almost fall asleep during that session, I also, completely braindead, tilted a stack away and whenever I watch this hand now, it makes me wanna facepalm multiple times. At first I didn't want to post that hand here but on second thought: Why actually not? Let's give this thread some (stupid) content.

MP1: $12.29 (122.9 bb)
MP2: $10 (100 bb)
MP3: $10 (100 bb)
CO: $20.13 (201.3 bb)
Hero (BTN): $10 (100 bb)
SB: $11.55 (115.5 bb)
BB: $14.75 (147.5 bb) - unknown
UTG+2: $14.61 (146.1 bb)
Preflop: Hero is BTN with 4
4
5 folds,
Hero raises to $0.30,
SB folds,
BB raises to $0.90, Hero calls $0.60
Maybe just folding to the 3-bet would have been the best here, I'm not quite sure to be honest. My thoughts while playing this hand were something like: "Maybe he is trying to re-steal with probably anything. Since I have only 44 I don't wanna play a big pot yet, so I call and decide what to do on the flop", I guess...
Flop: ($1.85) 7
7
J
(2 players)
BB bets $1.18, Hero calls $1.18
I don't know why I just called it. Maybe I considered it to be a simple c-bet and planned to bet the turn if he should check. Could have been the idea but I don't know anymore.
Turn: ($4.21) A
(2 players)
BB checks,
Hero bets $3,
BB raises to $6.45,
Hero raises to $7.92 and is all-in, BB calls $1.47
An ace appears, he checks and for a moment I was thinking:"yep, got him!" I put in a serious looking bet and my already very tired face gets a bit more tired when I see him re-raise. I'm beat and I know it. Whatever he holds on his hand beats me and the bet size makes it clear that it is no air since he could never fold now if I push.
BUT: Tired and now tilted as I was, I did not fold...
River: ($20.05) 6
(2 players, 1 is all-in)
Results: $20.05 pot ($0.90 rake)
Final Board: 7

J
A
6
Hero showed 4
4
and lost (-$10 net)
BB showed A
A
and won $19.15 ($9.15 net)
That's what happens when you play poker being super tired. So just don't.
Today I finally played another session (with a clear mind this time) and got some $ back. There were no interesting hands whatsoever and I wanna play a few more hands before I'll post a first graph.
