Hey guys, a very few of you might know me from '10K MTT 3 month challenge' that I crushed before players in India got their own regional Pokerstars Network.

With the Summer Championship of Online Poker starting May 13th, I want to set a simple series of goals. Before that, a brief intro:

I am Prison M!ke on Pokerstars.in and am coached by BBZ.

Since the past year, volume has been low. It is a product of Indian sites pre-dating the arrival of Pokerstars IN and I don't trust a site that gives out an Iphone to highest no. of rebuys, has little to no security and mainly, I don't worry and esp. don't get myself involved in things I can't control. Even though I am in profit on those 'unlimited-re-entry' 3 hands per blind lvl fraud guised as poker sites, I don't really put any volume on them anymore.

More on that later.

Authenticity lacks here in India # 34832328. My learning curve under the tutelage of BBZ Staking bossman himself has been a steep one. I was a winner before getting coached by him, I absolutely crush the game now.

However, like everyone, I have some leaks. They are not from ignorance anymore, rather, triggered by certain events (not just on the felt). I have overcome a couple of nasty years on a personal level.

Learning this game has some asymmetry to it. If I was to learn to box, it is only a sound assumption that being left handed, my left jab might improve faster than the right hook.

Practice, hardwork, and being around pioneers of poker strategy like BBZ and having had long time relationships with groups like TurboKings has helped a lot.

A lot lot. Also, I know there is a lot lot left in the learning plot.

I absolutely love studying this game. I am confident cuz I wanna reach for the sky, humble, but I like to boast, and you better know, 1999 was the very last time, I was an average guy.

Ok so here is the function of profits over a sample of MTTs -

I also stream from time to time but the lack of volume has been a deterrent.

I love this game and wouldn't play unless I enjoyed every moment of it.

I will be posting my SCOOP schedule soon and let's get that graph high like birds in the sky.

Updates whenever I play (including non SCOOP).

GOAL: Last time I played SCOOP, I got 2nd in 55$ event, let's go 1 better in 2 tournaments this time.

Ultimate Goal: Over the the next 3 weeks, 2 big wins, highest net profit among all those who play at least half or more events and lowest re-entries.

Ship the May TLB while I am at it!

GL op.

I wish sites offered iPhones for highest number of rebuys lol those games sound amazing.

Can you play on Pokerstars from India?

Yea you can in India on Pokerstars IN in India...

Thanks! BTW.
Stars at least has limited re-entries. Imagine a decent player or even a fish, bust them 8 times 9th stack odds on to go on a heater....glad the general poker strategic culture is so bad that games be easy. Cash + MTTs makes up for volume but SCOOP looks so good! Very excite!

I meant can you play on pokerstars.com and pokerstars.in ?

I thought all stars tournies were unlimited reentries? Those guarantees won't meet themselves.

Nah. I think you can if you were on vacation only. Yea, right about re-entries. It's more of a 'got spoiled' by the early Indian sites which started off with unlimited re-entries and now people addicted. One score > being consistent and making money.

It sucks in another way too tho - recreational players....This one site called ********** held a multiday unlimited re-entry 200$ event and I think out of all the runners, 5-600 lost their entire roll and we will see half of them back after their next paycheck.

I mean look at what 'Team Pro' is doing in a friggin PKO 1 min from late reg. getting in with a stack that amounts to 25% of avg. field stack - pure punting.

x-posting from another thread, don't want to feel like I am spamming up a thread where I don't know anyone nor their bidniz.

also you sound like you’re on drugs mate
I'll admit it, I might have confused the positions when reading thru all of the hands however, 'lol he didn't barrel turn and got punished' is results oriented and not a thing either....IP should not barrel this turn. Is he planning to go broke with TP here? lel.

OOP in fact should build a leading range on suitable flops like if he called the 3b with 66s on a board of 784, hero should donk as fundamentally speaking, 3bettor has more high cards in his range and when Hero does not 4bet, he is admitting to a weaker range which that board hits. The linear value combos that Hero calls OOP are far fewer in no. than marginal ones. In fact 98s has more EV as a call to the 3b than KQs because of domination etc.

Still, when it comes to the turn - IP betting turn is far worse than OOP never leading it on this sort of asymmetrical turn card.

I mean it's not about aggression. It's about making money.

Next, you will say this is not a thing (sorry our currency does not convert the hand correctly on 2p2) -

Having the 2 in our hand is so clutch. I suck at 100bb poker anyways. Side hobby can't even pull 10K hands in 2 months..tsk tsk

Also also, a somewhat similar scenario just transpired. It's not a pio vs no pio thing. I will look at the hand later but in-game, I am just using logic and letting the deck constraint my strategy.

We should probably be barreling here to ~pot. Not having clubs is really good for us since it is the weakest part of villains flop floats and we unblock them, picked up a gutty, not gonna make us much money if it goes to the river.

In fact, our bluffs here are so few in no., i'd use them very efficiently. We have 3 class of bluffs on this board, suited Ax, suited connectors, one gappers, small pairs. Having one of those 3 subset of ranges equals to 6 combos for a pair, 4 + 4 for suited Ax and 98s equaling 14 combos. 1 offsuit value combo like AKo almost offsets all our bluffs. That is the sheer value we have here. Gotta bet hard on broadway boards. Pick up outs, continue. I mean lots of scenarios on the turn but

If turn was a 4, and I had AQo I'd check back. Should the villain donk a paired turn w/ say 9c9s? Wouldn't be the end of the world, cuz look at it this way, what hands can BTN have that would 2b a lead? Not many, not very many.

Also, unregged a lot of tournies. Played poorly on BCP, and glad I looked at the time and was able to unreg the 33$ big fish (I play on these sites Sundays only). Just feeling like watching Derry Girls.

Had an hour where there were no tournies, crushed some cash. On my last tourney - but it is the big one on Stars IN. 2nd entry after QQ < AQ or smth. 37/136 long ways to go. Only other bink was a satty to this very tourney. Weeeee just as I was typing, got an ez booty.

Schedule for SCOOP -

'The Mammoth' Main Event is wicked! It is a FO!!! I already got the satty for Day 1a
Everywhere you see a 0.00 - is a skip or another flight of the Mammoth. Also, everything is in INR and apart from the deepest of structures, there are no re-entries. Not even for micro-tournies. I might budge 2-3% and take an extra entry here or there but 90% is just one entry. There is a freeroll and a 50$ buy in for a package to APPT Manila but will have to check when it is since I am booked for EPT Barcelona and then Belfast for a wedding in August.

sick river in the main. 87th with 55 to pay. JJ < 88 left me nursing a shortstack. Got sub 10bb after heaps of equity missed couple of hands prior.

-79ish$ for the day. Still playing a few tables but they are all turbos and hypers where **** like this will often happen. It's like the villains here read the words 'supersonic' Bubble 'rush' and just want to snap finish the tourney.

New player. One hand on him. Came in, got 2 bounties over-calling a 4bet jam and a call with A4o and got there. AQ = QJ vs me. Was at 700bb at one point, already on 2nd entry and the tourney started 15 mins ago. It's a deepstack hyper.

I plan on streaming a lot during SCOOP so ya'll can see the player pool tendencies here. In fact, because of re-entries, the best way to play against them is optimally.

Some try to be too nitty. Some play fire with fire. I just respect the deck. It's best to play the math and also if the deck doesn't co-operate...well I ain't here to win every pot and play perfect poker.

This is mediocre for someone who shipped the first ever TLB on Stars IN. We got a lot of time to go though and I ain't even talking cash.

.20/.40$ 2 tabling...wasting time. biggest leak..leading too many board pairing turns in min 3b pots.

Had a sesh with BBZ yesterday and today. Looked at BB spots over the last month and today looked at EP and MP hands that saw river. My river play needs cleaning up.

I was given some pointers on low numbers raising from blinds and higher than usual squeeze (not much) also some DB analysis of EP but mainly blinds need working on.

Multitude of reasons - there is variance, any defend leaves you anywhere between 3-4BB down and already hard coming back from there. So when I make a -EV play for say 80bb 3b with trips vs a 2b it's going to crush my WR.

That is 80bb -EV in 1 ****ing hand. Imagine the long run hit on WR.....I am still posting great numbers, just have to eliminate some nonsensical logic out the door mindless stupid ****.

Consistency is hard.

Today I played really well. Maybe a mistake here there, no blunders. Ultimately made no money and last tourney ran AK into AA AIPF 20BB 15 from ITM.

WR was good.

With nothing left, played cash on 2 sites. I lost this hand btw but still close to 450$ playing .33$ big bet... .25 on the other site.

MTT - nothing but a bounty:

'bout 355 hands...

Cash was good.

Turn 6, river 6 lol -

Playing well tho. Could have just as easily got to the FT of the event I finished 19th in but for AQ = A5 or smth before AQ < A4 put a huuuuge dent in my tracks. AQ!!!!!

should just stick to cash. +208$ 71.2bb/100

Meh, all standard spots except villains be stacking off TP like it's the nuts. Quite a few of them will be BTN-BB spots because I love them and am trying to get my WR better from the blinds esp

Turns out the water just fine. No infection in that sort of a way. Some muscle(s) or group of em that control pressure equalization thingy in the ear or it's something to do with vacuum activating it are in a mess. Some tube that sounds like mustache-ian (will google all this later) Doctors here think you challenging them if you ask them what's going on.

No gradual hearing loss was a good thing. Flying is a big no no atm. Today I will be chilling, maybe playing a few tournies, we'll see about tomorrow.

Also my 2nd audiogram 'Tested By:' today's date.

Need some AC and chill.
