You guys act as if I tripled my roll 2 weeks ago or something. Std PGC: you post heat when you're ready to lose it all, and a BE/downer when you're ready to charge. Once the sites know you're going public, they adjust the RNG for you to advertise ("winners get smashed here, sht regs hit everything").

Feel free to crosspost to Beginners Questions.

Sup fellas (ladies?). Life happened, haven't played much since last update. Unfortunately work balance has never been my strong suit; I do it all the way or not at all, so I'm one of those "ignore everything for two weeks, waste the next one" guys. Did manage to get in a couple of twilighters. Games always broke, which is annoying, but also great in the sense that I'm itching my neck to play again. Apologies to the millions of you viewing, but for various reasons this will be my last garfunkle for a bit. I suppose bb's pretty benign, but I can probably do without the ego bologna stroking anyways. Just know I'm outchea.

I lost my roll, this is all 2nl. s/o PandaLife, loving my new color scheme!

Sup gang. PGC's dead, so here's an update:

Spoiler:
I AIN'T DONE IHST!!!

Not entirely accurate; I needed to upgrade my PT4 past micros (sick brag 1), so I figured it'd be a good time to try out HEM2. As of now....I like it better! There's definite lag compared to PT4, but I'm running a pretty decent ssd (sick brag 2), so whatever. As a constant in-session graph-checker (prob big leak), I'm loving having everything in 1 tab.

I went to post a graph, and I can't! Have to buy client. ***** masdrlfinuqerfougvnaeorugbqaebgqaeworjhbg. Ok. >10/100 20k/h, whatever, yeah I suck play me.

Didn't get a huge sample, got world>world'd a LOT, and still know the best regs are drawing dead. I gave them a month to prepare; winter is here mfkers. Or maybe I'm lying. Gl

Since last we spoke.

The past 25k hands have been incredibly frustrating. Sometimes I think I'm the biggest mental fish in poker, but I haven't been deviating. More like **RAGERAGERAGE...think, click...RAGERAGERAGE**. Some of you are going through real downswings; I'm mainly just feeling sorry for myself and acting like a *****. Time to harden the **** up!

Sht answer (but honest): opponent specific.

Today was idk. Played ok, not great, 2 big/close spots (naturally I mashed). Happy I could run it back to even. Dc'd again (really) at perfect time for graph, maybe another organic anti-implosion measure.

Idk maybe overanalyzing a pretty basic spot here. But don't think it's even polar v:b, usually just pure v; however, that turns into his probable estimation of v. I need 39%, which I think I may have often enough. Maybe a "see title" hand.

Good time for an update. Still in action! Graph is ath (no proof, DEF BUSTO). Felt really stagnant regardless. So, big breakthrough, I've started practicing a totally new move:

                    Spoiler:
                    studying!

As my state of the art sims above evince, this has been massively neglected in my development since basically always. I don't recall ever discussing a specific hand with anyone, never joined a training site, no coach/leakbuster/anything I had to pay for. Which reads like a brag, but at this point I just feel dumb for wasting time. Today I fell down an 8hr rabbit hole, thinking I discovered the dead sea scrolls bc I found some range eq that was being discussed in 2007. Still don't know what/whose material I'll zero in on; most coaches spike my charlatan gauge. Think I've played enough now to delve with objectivity though, can't fake math, so I haven't been this excited about poker in a while. Feel like I'm on the verge of a new level.

Hey. Been a while. Essay update:

Long story short, I was banned! Apparently you need to apprise your poker site of your travel itinerary (). I was in the middle of a >20bi downer (>12 under), rent was due, and I had basically no liquid $; couldn't have happened at a better time. Scrambled for a few weeks, snowboarded practically every day. Ran into a buddy who's the anti-Knish, but he got me a job driving the proverbial truck. Turns out the "if you can succeed at poker..." rhetoric is kinda true; I'm manager now after a month (SODIUM IN THE AIR).

Poker basically took a backseat. Realized I had like $3 on some off-brand site, decided to run it up in the meantime for a challenge. Blasted .50c sng's (really) until I had $20, when I took a 5nl shot (TERRIFYING). That went well, ran it to ~80, at which point I started 6-tabling 10nl (STRONG BRM). That also went well, shot 25nl at ~250, and we are currently at OVER FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.

Finally got my real roll back. So I've come out of this with stable income, an additional roll/site to work on, and the HUNGER that I started poker with. I'm not used to playing with the safety net of my bills covered; with no pressure of earning through grinding, I'm going to focus solely on getting better. Dropped down in stakes while I get used to the games again, but I'm going to get pretty aggro with my roll once I feel sharp.

I've decided to finally make the full switch to 6max. I started with 9max because I always intended to transition to live; I oddly think I might be even better at it than online, but I've still never held a real chip. I've played enough stupid rangeless cc mw pots for 2 lifetimes, llsnl hh's still read like dumpster fires, so I'm ready whenever the opportunity arises.

Here's everything so far (NEW YEAR NEW ME, NEW STEAM NEW THEME). Redline is trash. Think it would be breakeven/okayish minus h1500-h2000; I was at an amazing table with a bunch of station whales and 4-6way pots (WTF CAME HERE FOR THE HU), ran frio, lots of folding. Probably paying too much attention to it (iirc Redbaron and some 500z guys are negative), but I want a WARRIOR graph. Onward and upward!
