Haha yeah I've got that series downloaded.

Hilarious he had to play the remainder of the FT with his leg up on another chair.

Re: straykatbluz 2013 MTT's - USING NUMBERS ON THE CARDS TO MAKE NUMBERS IN THE BANK

Finished moving into new house yesterday, got the grind station all set up but no Internet. Apparently there was some stuff up when they tried to transfer Internet from old house to current house, so I already haven't played for 3 days and it could be another few days before its working again. Just hope it's back in time for miniFTOPS.

Ty, you too

Here's my setup

Nice and simple.

27" HP monitors
Logitech keyboard (bluetooth, wireless, keys light up depending on brightness of the room, awesome for playing in the dark)
Logitech MX mouse
Skull Candy aviator headphones

Monitors are actually really good quality, but photo was taken on a fisheye app so the quality has turned out average.
Great monitors for poker, would definitely recommend. HP '2511x' model for anyone who's interested, about $250 each here in Aus.

I wish Sundays would **** off.
1010 vs 99 early on in ftops for a juicy stack, 9 BALL ON DAT RIVER, loving it.
Running into the top of everyones ranages today and getting in a lot of "aw come on, really!?" kind of spots.

ty, means I have less things to throw haha
yeah need $$ badly, have hit a bit of a dry spell.

How the hell do you manage to multi table on one lappy! I imagine any more than 5 or 6 tables would just be insanity? haha
How's poker been going for you, any good scores lately?

Any more than 4 tables is to much on a laptop, especially if you are no mousing it. Grind out a win. Will it.

Re: straykatbluz 2013 MTT's - USING NUMBERS ON THE CARDS TO MAKE NUMBERS IN THE BANK

MINI REVIEW

Had a good lesson this morning with my coach Steve (HR_Dub). Went over a HH and discussed bet sizing and some blind vs blind stuff.
Always play really good after a coaching session and today was no different as I ran deep in a bunch of stuff (unfortunately no FT's) with enough cashes to make it a no loss day.
Think it would be wise to start studying and going over HH's BEFORE I start a session. Need to get out of the habit of waking up 20mins before regging aswell as I'm only making it harder on myself by spending the first hour yawning.
Would appreciate some info/advice from anyone about their study schedule aswell

Got 19th in this today, 3.2k ftw

February and March ITM% were 14.3 and 14.4 percent.
ITM% for April is 26%.
My game has definitely gotten alot better over the last month or two, especially ranging opponents hands and getting value in spots I would normally have missed cause I was unsure where I was at, but still haven't been able to pull through with a good score for about a month now. Kinda disappointing but volume has been a little down due to moving house this month and my ISP stuffing around with getting me connected. Hoping to get a couple $1k+ scores before the end of the month and start May/scoop without any makeup.

This was my last hand of the day in a little $5 1k cap.
No biggy, but it's just super annoying that he's shoving a hand that never gets called by worse... but GETS THERE ANYWAY? sigh

http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-h...671_7C0DB71A4A

start of thread total cashes (18th Jan): $15,738
Current total cashes: $39,250
(will crack 50k goal before or during May)

Going to finish the month off strong with lots of volume and go for the gold!

Just gotten used to it I'm a lazy git anyway and don't put in even 1/5th the volume u do currently. Going ok. Not been playing online so much. Did bink a 11 fo for 2k and change lil over 2 weeks ago.

Re: straykatbluz 2013 MTT's - USING NUMBERS ON THE CARDS TO MAKE NUMBERS IN THE BANK

This was an hour or so ago.
Only played 4 tournies on the side while watching some stuff on youtube and FT'd this which was cool.

4 handed at 2.5k/5k, cutoff (150k) opens to 10.3k. CL in sb flats. I shove BB with AKss for 160k, cutoff folds, sb snaps with Q10o and flops a ten.
He was breakeven for ages and only started getting good this year, not sure if he did it from calls like that, but it's just tilting to get another 4th in a spot where I feel I could've taken it down. Q10 boy ended up shipping.

That said, I've had a red bull, got my hoody and slippers on and am ready for a long night. Midnight here, had a one hour break after that $11, will probably reg from now till 4/5am.

GL all

Re: straykatbluz 2013 MTT's - USING NUMBERS ON THE CARDS TO MAKE NUMBERS IN THE BANK

Added another monitor to my setup today, so now I can just permanently have Skype and Spotify up on the side, rather than opening it up over tables during a session.

Also, new card guard.

Re: straykatbluz 2013 MTT's - USING NUMBERS ON THE CARDS TO MAKE NUMBERS IN THE BANK

Pretty much on rage tilt at the moment.
Was just going over some scores and realised that in February, I was heads up for a triple crown. Didn't even know at the time.
I'd shipped Big 16.50 and ANZOPS Event 3 in one week, was heads up in ANZOPS 6 max, A8 vs Q8, A x Q x Q
if that Q didn't hit I would've had it. What a ****ing joke.

Out of makeup and feeling good. Big boost to win a tourny after how things had been going.
Has restored a lot of faith in my game.

Nice job in that tournament (I was 2nd place)! Thanks for the deal heads up and good luck with all your goals this year! Cheers

Ah thank god. I feel better haha. I thought it was 10k+ scores, not 10k prizepools aswell, then someone in the stable corrected me so I had a look and thought I'd gotten heaps close.

Haha true, I guess it's just a nice little self achievement to have if you had a sick week. No biggy, was just the thought of a 2 outer taking it away that pissed me off.

You too man, hopefully see you at some tables.

  • 750 MTTs - 384
  • Cutdown Tables - Have kept it to a max of 8 tables every session and definitely feel I play better. Going to stick with this.
  • Profit miniFTOPS - tbc
  • Win 1st Full Tilt MTT - Nope. Only played 83 mtts on Full Tilt this month.
There's usually just so much good stuff on stars that there's no room to add in extra stuff.
I usually only play the $26 KO's and the daily doubles on Full Tilt, but not giving up, will keep hunting the first win.
  • Finish Reading - Still on Theory of Poker but have started reading Harington's 2nd book aswell.

GRAPHS:

APRIL

COMMENTS:
April was pretty crap. I didn't put in nearly as much volume as I was hoping I would. I kept screwing up my sleeping pattern and feeling really unmotivated to play.
Also did a pretty bad job on achieving my goals for the month. This WILL NOT be the case for May.

I came close to finishing off the month good in the $8.80R+ [17.5k], but busted out in 7th, 4.4k up top. Just ran so card dead in that tournament it's ridiculous, no idea how I even FT'd.

On a good note, I'm cashing a lot more consistently and feel I have a really good grasp of the stakes I'm playing.
Unfortunately keep missing the big bucks, but it's just a matter of time.

ITM%:
January - 15.7%
February - 14.4%
March - 14.3%
April - 22.6%

April Profit: - $976

Thanks for reading, GL.
